[Q] [REQ] EG22 AOSP lockscreen - Epic 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

any one have any ideas or anything helpful to make a aosp lockscreen or if one has been made, if EF02 works instead..?
just AOSP lockscreen is the only thing keeping me from EG22.
Willing to try and make my own, but i am a huge n00b.
Thank you for your time and any responses.

It's currently being worked on.

There are a LOT of changes in EG22 when compared to any previous version we've had. The current method for unlocking the lockscreen is not working with EG22.

Maddoggin has his 8 lockscreen port up and kicking. It is like 2 threads down. I have the puzzle lockscreen kicking right now. And there is an asop lockscreen option in there.. Give that a try..

I think for now the only way we will achieve the AOSP lockscreen mod is using mad doggins EG22 lockscreen mod.
The individual AOSP lockscreen mod we used since DI18 to EF02 has changed for EG22 and the way we did it doesn't work anymore (I know I tried and tried redoing the smali code over and over). So until one of our devs that really know and understand smali code figure out a new way around the changes were SOL on the single lockscreen mod.
But hey mad doggins mod is way better with more options than just the single mod.

Sorry but maddogin lock screens dont have asop and window unlock sound. witch really sucks..

That is the best it gets at this point.

I guess its better than nothing. I mention the bug maddogin and he said he "might fight fix it and tha it was a smali file that was not being read by the asop lock screens".. si hopefully he resolves issue..

I for one like it without sound that way I can play with my phone at night without distrubing my wife's sleep.

[Q] Maddoggin's Lock-screen Mod for EC05?

I'm not sure if there's 6 or 8 for EC05 but I've searched, as always, but I can't seem to find the lock-screen mod by itself. Every time I believe I've located it, it's usually built into a theme or something. I'm happy with the way my phone looks now and I was wondering if someone had it by itself.

Just flashed. Works perfectly.

unfortunately it is a theme. It's built in to framework-res which controls 90 percent of the phones theme. I built it into an update if my ec05 rom.

Yeah, I noticed. It themed my notification bar and some other things.
I reflashed the theme to remove it though because there wasn't the miui or sgs2 lock screen. That was the purpose lol.

[MOD][CWM]Overscroll Glow :)

I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone when flashing this..
REQUIREMENTS-ClockworkMod and a >>>>DEODEXED ROM<<<<
DOWNLOADS-http://db.tt/9RRhU7Cp
This will only touch the framework.jar so the overscroll will be the stock orange unless changed in the framework-res.apk...
Also to anyone wanning to incorperate this into anything, go for it... Just be sure to give credit .

Hey I just flashed this and its not working??? All my menus seem to over shoot/bounce past the 1st and last item listed, therefore not allowing overscroll, is there as setting to disable it from doing that?
CRT is a one line change in the framework-res.apk.

Deno, I think since you only placed the .jar file, we have to put the .png in the .apk to have it appear...I forget is it in framework-res.apk, systemui.apk or setting.apk were the image is suppose to go?? Your help is greatly appreciate!

Oh ok, yea Im actually on zedo's v4 beta right now...what ROMs are deodexed if you dont mind sharing?...Let me asking you something, is it as easy as just deleting all the .odex files in the ROM in order for it to be deodexed?
Did you base this off ptfmedics's framework? I dumped your jar and compared it to my framework and there are 435 files that are changed. I know overscroll doesn't change that much so I am a little confused.

I can confirm that I get some forced closes and lost the scrollable (sideways) drop down menu thing (whatever you call it). Otherwise, it works alright i guess. I'd rather have a bonafide ICS theme for Unnamed, but until then this combo will have to do.
+1
I got some f/c on it as well. Kept getting one on every reboot until I flashed aio mod. Problem after that it felt like everything kinda of slowed down a little....never happened o. Prior releases.

I'm testing the EL13 version and it's working great. Patience lol.
again, just copy the images into the ROM you want to flash using 7zip and you can flash the theme of choice on the most updated version of your ROM the moment it drops. Just takes a little dragging and dropping of images into the apk's and frameworks. I have been running ICS on Calk's newest ROM's the moment they drop.

Gs2 lock screen on epic?

Anyone know howctp get the gs2 lock on our og epics? Really don't like the swipe to unlock and really like just throwing my lock screen from anywhere. Widget locker doesn't support it. Would really be interested in a modification to do this if possible, without an additional app.
One of the lockmod themes for ei22 has it however only availble for ei22.... its the glass unlock similar to the gs2

I customized the nav bar, to open my App Organizer folders, and used ThaIcon Ultimate to download the icons I wanted for it. I used Carbon Fiber Darkmega (but Carbon fiber Darkblue matches better). You can customize all that at Rom Control> Nav Bar. Just enable it, give it five icons, and the rest should pretty much explain itself. Only complaint is that when I launch an app from the folders on the nav bar, and try to use the nav bar again for a different category, it brings up the last category I picked. But that is totally minor...
Also, will this run on B32 as well, if not how does one port the theme for that version, so I don't have to ask again and look like a milker...
ahh, ok.
