Hi all.
I've been working on this...aswell as panels...and 15 tabs..and other bits here and there.... to create a Tidy up of the TF3D
It is a custom pack.... and it addresses some things that should have been done in the first place In my opinion...
THIS WILL NOT WORK ON ANY MANILA v2/v3 ROMS SO IF YOU USE DUTTY's ROMS... DO NOT TRY THESE FILES.
Let me know what you think of it... and any feedback for enhancements....

Hopefully you will see, the changes I have made, you can only see as they are pointed out.. but only when put against a stock version will it really show!
As a good tester... bring your HD up with the same page as you are looking at as my pics... then look at changes,, subtle... but better
Right.. Here are the first 2 cabs.
As with everything in TF3D.. turn off TF3D.. and copy/backup all your _manila files from \Windows to your PC. This way.. you always have a return/system restore point.
Manila Core Pack..Install 1st
and then choose one of these
Manila Orange Pack With Background
Manila Orange Pack without Background
and install it second

First of all, great job.. I've kind of come to expect this level of work in your releases. Looks simply fantastic!
Now, here's my suggestion: can you provide the option for users to set their own wallpaper before installation - and keep it across all tabs? What I mean - the upcoming .cab would take the Today's wallpaper and, upon installation, set it as the default for all tabs.
Or - a little variant - in case that a single 800x480 .png file is present in the installation cab's folder, take it and set it as a wallpaper across all tabs.
That would allow for some level of personal touch...

Trust me, that are no small changes, I see them immediately.
What I would personally like:
Indeed a couple of cabs, for example, I would like to have all these changes, except the coloured top icon bar and the background.
For me it would be difficult to change back to original background in all tabs.
Furthermore, the orange theme is really really nice.
You say that this theme will have an option to change colour, does that work ok?
One last thing: in the "orange" theme, did you color it all? For example, also the volume up color, loading bars, etc etc?

Hi...
The ability to embed the background from a pic.. is something i cannot do.
There is nothing stopping someone else writing a prog to do this though...
simpley write the header to a _manila file.. read in the pic... write it into the new _manila and then write in the footer and save the _manila to the right name into the \windows dir.
Would take some coding.. but i'm sure some guys here can do it.
The only thing i can do is make the 2 packs.. and have them so you install the
Core pack with all transparancy and tidy ups..
colour pack - orange / purple / Xperia.
This would be the easiest way..
otherwise you will get
top bar
bottom bar
message icon
mail icon
phone icons comm manager
phone icons settings..
and so on... it would be a real long winded thing to do.
let alone the inability to support all these things
I could create the colour packs (which do colour the volume and progs like mp3 trimmer.. and the highlight bars...) without the background change.. so if you have your own bg files.. they will remain.
i will however put in the new fix i made for the bg Strip problem.
(93 downloads.. so i guess ppl needed it)
(i am working on how to set highlight colours to match in explorer.. I have them done. but i need an easier way)
I am also making the dialer that matches.. so a thin orange shadow behind each button... on a black bg

as listed above.. yes.. I try to remove all Greenie stuff!....
It just looks so ... stock.
So.. yes.. volume and selcetion/highlight bars are all done.
you should see the select bars in one of the pics..

No. ALS.. Here in the UK.. old customers could have 2 telephone lines/contrcts/numbers on 1 sim.
Line 1 / Line 2
No longer available.. but those of us still got it.. we can keep it. simply press # to switch lines for outgoing calls.
incoming calls come through on both regardless of which is selected.

I am a complete noob at anything photoshop. Can any of the artistic talents here, modify the htcmenus.bmp file for any of the new Maila ROM's and get rid of the bright green with a softer color like a gray or silver or dark blue -somthing more subtle. I tried some of the similar file for other phones but it messes up the menus, I assume the menu widths are different or something and I couldnt find this mod for the HD.

Hey guys i don't know if this has been posted yet, but i surfed around and couldn't get any info.
I edited a couple pictures off my comp to use them as background and now i realized for bright color'ed back grounds (ie. blue/white) they blend right in with the main screens *White font color, ya you know the clock etc..
it would help if we can set these color to black/blue/deep blue etc. vice versa, suprisingly htc never thought of this? or am i missing something here =/
changing themes don't seem to be doing much
FONTs....
System and TF3D are available and works from other devices.
Godzon has a nice selection but not all of his include system fonts.
Search for others....Install, if no likey...uninstall
Can anyone made the keyboard white with the dark theme? It would be nice, don't yall think?

I've actually tried this and there isn't a perfect way of accomplishing it. Changing the registry also changes other colors throughout the system and makes it strange looking. For example: the registry tweak in the thread the poster above me linked, has a tweak for the keyboard, but it is for the background color of the board. This color is also used for all the little sub menus (the things with the "..."). I changed mine to black because it does look better than the default grayish color (I tried changing it to white, but it just contrasts with way to many other things).

Well, I just editied a theme (accent) color on my trophy via registry - it worked fine, but unfortunately not completely...
For some strange reason, the accent color in some apps (calendar, for instance) isn't the nice dark blue I inserted, but a very ugly pink... and I've no idea how to change it... is the color-code stored in a different location then the HKLM - ControlPanel - Themes?
I searched through the forum but unfortunately I didnt find anything helpful
So please, if there's any option to get a consistent theme, tell me

Whichever method you used, the person who developed said method should have stated that this does not completely change the accent color system wide. Devs can't seem to find a way to change the color system wide, so you only get a partial change for system applications, and it seems 3rd party apps don't follow it.
So its something we don't know yet, but i'm sure someone will figure it out.

I dont know what kind of phone you have or even if its Chevron unlocked you can always try Advanced Configuration Tool from touch experience. I have an HD7 thats chevron unlocked and this works perfectly for me. It changes the color of the whole system not just parts of it. I hope this helps.
