Wi-Fi works perfectly for me with CM 10.1 or CM 10 with WPA-TKIP or without encryption. Can you be more precise?

I connect to the public Wi-Fi our school provide s. It works fine with other Wi-Fi

Its not the phone, it the WiFi router that you are connected to. Of it's public it will have problems like that

is it kernel/rom related feature? i don't see it in cm11 pa/slim and xs won't connect to running 5ghz wifi

the hardware supports it
i think you have to modify your kernel and also system to enable
not many people see needs so i dont think any kernel has it

Well, I have Xperia M dual, try asking other Xperia M single SIM users to see if they got the same problem...

Try to uninstall the superbeam app, maybe it creates some conflicts.

install lt28* roms on lt28i(LTE)

i have LTE ion which is lt28i. and i installed lt28h rom on my lt28i and works fine excpet that i can not use 3g data. i can text and call fine. is it because i got lt28h rom on t28i? does it actually matter? if it does how come i can text and call but use data(3g)
