Ok so I already posted this in the app forum but I wanted to give it a try here :
OK so the NFL is finally back and I am wondering if there is any way that us non Verizon customers can have the NFL app working on our tabs as it was in the past. Will this be possible or has Verizon and the NFL made it impossible for it to work outside of Verizon phones.

What you thought you would just post this off-topic crap in here in hopes you would get noticed??
This section is for developments only, Not your crappy app requests.
Read the dev rules in sticky topic!!!!
So you've double posted and a if that wasnt enough you've decide to use the duplicate post to spam the dev section.
I should sticky this as a testament to the overwhelming amount of fail that we are currently trying to rid these forums of.
Please please please, for the love of all that is holy...

A simple search will give you the answer! I'm not doing it for you. There are two other threads in the Android App forums about this. You obviously got the hacked app from one of those threads. There was no need to start another thread about this.

Well I was referring to the OP. And no you found no new app because their isn't any. The old thread states that! Just refer to that thread if you need to know anything.

Really though if you are gonna waste your time telling someone to go to another thread you could have just said yes or no last time or provided a link. Thats what this community is about... helping each other and bouncing ideas. If you weren't gonna help why reply?

No genius I won't provide a link! I'm tired of doing the work for lazy people! He obviously got the app from the other thread which is were I got it! He knows damn well were to check to see if there is a new version! There was absolutely no need for a new thread. But what would you know, your obviously just like him. To lazy to search so let me just ask even though there are two other threads. I have helped many here so why don't you do the same or just mind your own business! How many duplicate threads would you like to see on this forum. If I'm coming across like a **** then so be it! You should have just done a search for him and posted the link. That's what you wanted me to do!
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Ahh, but, my friend, I have already searched. So the link is unnecessary. And just because someone hasn't posted something to an antiquated thread does not mean that there is no new information.
The rest of us will continue to ask as we see fit and within the parameters of the forum. There are multiple threads about the same topic in a lot of these forums - take the DK28 GPS fix for example. At least four active threads right now in dev. Why not go police them too?
Thanks for your help.

Figured out the answer to my question.
I assume you mean the notification bar... and there wouldn't be any way to remove it without rooting. Even with rooting I'm not sure its possible outside a completely custom ROM.
Why would you want to remove it anyway? Its a great part of android...

*edit*
I've figured it out. This thread can be closed.
What was the point of deleting your post? I hate when people do that. What if your question and subesquent discovery of the answer helps someone with the same question? Deleting your question doesn't take it off the thread, just let the original content slowly fade off into the XDA abyss like the rest of them that don't get responses.
Because it was simple overlook on my part. My launcher already had the option it was worded differently than others. So yes there is a point in closing it as there was no outside solution found by me. Plus there is another thread of the same topic posted that people can look at for a solution.

Hey
I was wondering if it could be made possible so that normal users could look, but not comment on, the dev only sections?
I for one am not a dev however I would love to look over their current findings and progress on certain things related to cracking the bootloader on the Atrix 4G
Thanks for your time

Wow a question in the development section....who wouldve thunk it....
When a FIRST POST goes RIGHT INTO the wrong thread. lol. wow! worst of all, the guy didn't even READ ONE PINNED THREAD. however, asking him/her to search is stupid guys. your search feature DOES NOT WORK. You literally skipped right over this, it's on the first page of the forum. You wanna root your Evo? Donate to some of these people hard at work finding a solution. And before you ask about the youtube videos saying there's a method, it's a method that only works if you've previously rooted your phone and then unrooted for whatever reason.
*sigh* Read the damn thread that says READ FIRST so you don't get such hateful responses in the future

Yes there is, I search the EVO dev and theme section quite often if I have a question, simply enter the section. And click on the search tab at the top, hell you can search a specific thread by going into it and using the same search tab. Anybody with a quarter of a clue and a couple minutes of forum time in their life can figure that out.

I hope that is the case, if labled with the right tag, we will only need to focus on that when looking at topics. I for one want to focus on all Sprint related topics/questions first, and if I have time help the rest of the SGS3 owners. But Id like to be closer friends with the people that are on the same carrier as me... No offence

Don't forget ...
Don't forget (Americans often do) that there's also Rogers, Bell, and Telus, not to mention a few more in Canada.
Rogers, Bell and Telus use the AT&T I747. I'm not sure about Virgin, Mobilicity, etc.
Peter
Addendum: I really should say that Rogers, Bell and Telus use the I747, which AT&T also uses. I really don't like saying it's an AT&T I747, because it's not.
Personally, I will try and use [I747] on all my posts.

There's advantages to both ways. But I'm not sure that the average user base will be able to take advantage of this setup and NOT cause a cluster#$%@. Not to mention the tendency to repeat previously asked questions... with four times as many carriers.

Exactly, this could get bad fast, and I see even more MOD attention would be needed, idk, maybe we are wrong and this will all work out for the best. Id love to see it be as easy as possible to stay connected and informed (on Sprint related topics mostly). I already find it hard to concentrate, but that's a personal problem I guess

XDA is about hacking devices, not discussing carriers. Don't forget that.
Go to a carrier-related forum if you want that.
I, for one, see this as a good change. Speaking as an engineer/developer.
Already we have 2 Off-Topic threads discussing this change. Don't complain about off-topic threads when you post in them.
This is good for me, since I'm kinda sad that I'm leaving my OG Epic bretheren from sprint to head to Bid Red..

Not really a good change, a step in the right direction, yes. But I for one only want to see Sprint related general/off topic posts when I come into the SGS3 general forum. That's why I ask for the tags. I mean that is a system in its self that needs to be used here ( I would love to see that happen). I'm just saying that makes it so much easier when scanning, and when you don't want to have to subscribe to all the Sprint related topics just to keep up with what your trying to focus on is ridiculous if you ask me.

I think I found your problem.
Okay, so other than:
1. *****ing about poor coverage.
2. *****ing about LTE roll-out.
3. *****ing about bundled apps.
4. *****ing about insurance/TEP.
What else possibly belongs in the General section that's Sprint-specific?
XDA has an off-topic section. Go there if you want to talk about whatever. It's about time these forums get back to device/development. This place has been taken over by whiny 14 year olds for too long.
And get off my lawn!

Tho we wouldn't have to if we had separate forums. I know in the past there were several that would cross platforms from international version to US versions and that was great, but I think it's a bit confusing to do it like this and if you're going to label every thread with a carrier anyway, why not just have it's own forum??
It is what it is I guess.
Hey the other day I seen this phone at a Sprint store, some girl offered me a favor for a look at my SGS3 PB 32gb Sprint version, I said I didn't have it yet, but soon I will be able to flash it for that favor you offered
