I tried to flash it but I run into a little problem: I flashed on Villain 2.1 and while the notification area is transparent on the lockscreen, it is still solid black on the homescreen. Or to be a bit more precise: on the homescreen wallpaper it's black but when i swipe down the notifications I can actually see the background of the notifications coming in behind it so it's transparent again. Any ideas to whats wrong? I wiped cache and dalvik-cache after flashing.
What launcher do you use ?
If you use Launcher Pro or any other exept Adw Launcher EX you need to use a live wallpaper.
If you are on adw launcher just got to the settings of it then General Behavior/System preferences and uncheck Wallpaper Heck.

Hmm.. I'm using the standard TW Launcher but I prefer a static wallpaper. Well, thanks anyway!
I probably have to wait till the MIUI rom leaves beta to get that nice look

There is just the statusbar themed so I dont think that I should post more screens.
Another thing is that on the update the coners on the top are rounded.

Why does it say 'theme' in the title, and its actually just small part of the framework.

Check my today's work based on gtg465x's Captivate Gingerbread (everything fixed and cool, I love it!).

Update don't touch on your lockscreen style, if you have a AOSP, you'll have AOSP after flash ;-) No extended menu for now, maybe in next version... Tested on Doc's JPU 4.0 and it should work on other JPUs, but don't know, just test it...

good stuff. works fine on darky's 5.4 JPU rom. Fixes the grey on white text in the notification bar although you lose the transitions, i prefer the normal transitions on this anyway

Yes, I used the framework from Captivate forum and it works like charm...
pramathesh: Settings are Froyo's default. I don't know, if it's working with UOT, but tell me what battery mod you like to implement and I'll do that.
frankhart: If you want to have AOSP lockscreen, then flash some theme, that contains AOSP and after that flash this theme ;-)

It woyld be nice to have 4 lock screens on this theme as its the only GB theme I like due to no changes in icons or any other things aside from the color scheme.

Nice thread how is it you have both wifi and gsm running at the same time?
Still awaiting root and CM7.
tmobile crap syncing in background they wont use wifi because its free, no way to stop it until I get root access.

Requires root. Can be done by theming in custom roms. E.g. CM7

I have a sgs plus and will get an sgs3 in a few weeks, and a friend of mine got a galaxy nexus few weeks ago, I just LOVE the blue/dark theme of the first ics 4.0 skin (the one on the Nexus), unfortunately I think that the theme on sgs3 is a step backwards and I would as soon as i would get it try to change the ICS (entire rom) or the theme (if possible) to the one from the Nexus.
So here's my question:
Is there an option (integrated in the phone) where i can switch the themes of the stock ics ?
Or do I have to install third party software ? (I will root it anyways I think)
Or do I have to flash a new ROM via Odin ?
What options do I have and, IS there even a way to get the cool theme from ICS 4.0 or even the entire rom for sgs 3 ?
PLEASE tell me that it is possible.

I love the theme too. It's possible to get it with the GO Launcher EX. I think the ICS GO Launcher EX theme by Pantrif13 ist the best. Sorry for my bad english!

Yeah, I love the Nexus blue/dark grey theme. imo it just looks more pro. I am using apex launcher atm with go sms and go contacts with an ICS nexus style theme. I really hope someone makes a theme for the S3 to change all the menus (settings etc) to the grey/blue, also change the drop-down notification to blue icons with a see-through alpha background. That would be awesome.

How did you change the status bar? Is it a new ROM or just themed?
Guys i dont have S3 yet!! I"ll have it in a few weeks, you can try nova launcher, its the best launcher for ICS you will have the theme as G Nexus. you will have the samsung stock statusbar. Look at the video here and if you like it its a real deal then!!

This is not serious it was me who had misunderstood : P
No issues Buddy. Other than the Status bar , you can use it freely like any other Launcher.
