I saw these videos the other day and especially the locking programs too, which run fine on the diamond (which they are demoed on), and so should also work for the touch hd.
the nvidia tegra stuff isnt gonna happen on the touch HD because the cpu/gpu isnt good enough.
OMG.....I WANT IT NOW xD...this would be the best UI i ever seen....

i think tegra is the actual chipset
tegra actually is hardware. looking at the specs of what nvidia's gonna output i hardly doubt this stuff will work on hd

I was wondering if anyone knows how to complie Numpty Physics for our Touch HDs. There are CABs for both QVGA and VGA over in the General Section but nothing for WVGA.
There's a link to the source code in post #38 of that thread.
Anyone reckon they can take on the challenge? I love that game!

I would recommend you Crayon Physics. Game Type is nearly the same, it's also an physics puzzle, and it runs like a charm on my HD, imho one of the best games so far.
Maybe you'll stuck with it to until there will be any WVGA Version of Numpty Physics, give it a try.

Why cannot we use HTC G1 Dream Android Sense roms when our HTC Diamond specs matches 98-99%
Sorry I know this is an old thread but i want to make it clear for all users why it cannot be done. (well, it could, but let me explain)
The 2.0 sense ports to the g1 are slow ( except a few ports)
There is a resolution difference, and everything will look screwed up if it the port is running.
The sense ports to g1 are originally from other devices such as HTC hero or legend.
So far, without nand Android, sense will be slow even if you have a lot of ram or high overclock.
Possible devices that you could port Android sense from include HTC wildire, HTC tattoo, and basically any device with 320x480 resolution. Our devices have higher resolution and that contributes to the slowness of Android also... If you are feeling lazy, you can use any rom from the htc wildfire section and use that as a base

I have a doubt,how can 320x480 resolution can support(you mentioned) our 480x640 VGA resolution??? Because if 240x320 cant support it then how can 320x480 support our device!!!

To my mind it is very hard to compare two OS objectively.
Moreover you can't really compare them since the devices are very different.
The only thing you can compare is the UI that is quite similar...
I think iOS is better now.
bada is better in my opinion
iOS is just a desktop full of shortcuts like the bada home screen
and your own PC
iOS may have features but you have all of them at bada and other oses
also the features that iOS does has are in very bad qualty
and stuck a lot more often then normle people nothice

that iOS is less stable than android but if you look at the data and compare to your bada device you'll see that your devise is much more stable and practical.
