Hey guys,
I know this is for a Xoom but I got the Acer A500 wireless keyboard and reviewed it if you want to see.

I was really close to buying the Xoom keyboard but it was $70, which was too much IMO. $49.99 I thought was a fair price and all the buttons are configured for the Honeycomb.

I have a Freedom Pro Keyboard (bluetooth) that I use with my HTC EVO, and is small and compact for travel. I thought I would try to use it with the wifi Xoom - success! Now I have one small travel keyboard for two items.
Sorry for the crappy picture. What I am using for the "stand" is a $3 metal business card holder that I bought from Staples when I bought the Xoom.
You can get more information on the keyboard (and see better pictures) on Amazon.

Looks cool but a little to steep for me. I will stick with an apple bluetooth kb.

yea it was a little pricey but i do a lot of document preparation and bought it to fit in my purse for travel. Easier to type docs on this keyboard than on the phone keyboard. lol
Looks awesome.
Could you give us a bit of a review on it?
Do the programmable keys work with Xoom?
What is the keyboard like?
Keys get stuck at all? Does it feel like a normal keyboard?
Does the Xoom fit on the stand that it comes with?
You may have just saved me from buying the official moto keyboard, which I wasn't really keen on in the first place.
Great find.
Thanks
Sorry, it said the first post failed, so I posted again
Hey guys,
I know this is not "officially" for a Xoom but I got the Acer A500 wireless keyboard and reviewed it if you want to see.

Edit: Sorry, the topic of the thread is a little misleading but I truly feel that this is the best keyboard out for any android tablet at the moment. Namely for the price and also the quality
Found it on New Egg for 49.99 not bad. I'm in the market for a mouse. I have a Microsoft 5000 for one of my laptops. Thinking about getting another for my Xoom.

Just search for a100 keyboard on eBay. Looks like a china cheapo, but if it works at all, it may be worth a shot. Especially since the a100 doesn't support USB hosting.

I have yet to see this case anywhere on Ebay. Sure wish someone DID make one. All I see area A500 or cases for 10" units.
If it works i think i buy it. An external keyboard is a must have today (for me).

I have that keyboard left over from my Atrix days. It works great on the S3. For the mouse, I use this one again from Motorola:

Thanks! I'll probably be buying mine in the morning!
Bit of an experiment, bought a aluminum Bluetooth keyboard for iPad mini. After checking out the dimensions of it vs my Amazon kindle fire hdx I decided to take the risk. It fits snug into the dock and most of function keys work for it. For example play, pause, forward/backwards,volume up and down. Might look into remapping the remaining function keys that don't. Nice little keyboard although it's a bit cheap(from China but shipped from california) and has a slight bow to it. Not bad for $13 with free shipping.
Here is the link of seller I bought from ebay that was the cheapest but others available as well. http://r.ebay.com/PHaqRN
Edit: now looking at a Zagg keyboard with backlit keys that might work as well. Its about $23 for an open box deal on amazon I am considering. Its got bigger keys and all round better look to it. But the keyboard I have is still working good.
