Well I'd rather find out from someone else m8 coz I've just flashed back to stock 2.1 Rom last night I'd like to stay with it for now.
So as a favour if someone can try the Wii controller demo using djdroid Rom I would be very grateful for your reply here.

Sparta does not work as it still has some SenseUI internals.
I'm trying Open Desire 1.6 in a moment and will let you know. I'm just trying to find the best Wii controller app in the market now!

Well it works! I'm using the wiimote app here: http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.ccpcreations.android.WiiUseAndroid
The app finds the wiimote and applies it, you need to enable the wiimote IME keyboard of course but that's all good.
I have older versions of NESOID and GENSOID installed so currently they're not mapping the wiimote keys but am about to install the newer versions...

Updated the emus (NESoid and GENSoid) and the wiimote works superbly
I am using AdamG's OpenDesire 1.6a too btw

Lol it is the Nokia 5800 stand that I did not return when refunding that pos!
Just wanted to know if call recording was possible with the new 2.2 update?
I know there were limitations with previous firmware recording had to be done via the loudspeaker.
This is a must feature witch should have come with the phone automatically. It's a shame that a 5 year old mobile can do this and the latest hi tech phones can't.
Is there any one that is working on a app? Or work around to get this working?

Heard that vRecorder for Froyo allows both sides recording. never tested it myself though, so if you have a chance to test, please let us know the results.
If it helps, I'm using AirVoice on rooted Hero (froyo). Seems to work.

Tried airVoice on Desire (froyo 2.2 with update) - Does not work
Call recording works perfectly on cheap china mobiles but not on Desire is somthing incredible that forces me to carry my trusty N95
Does any one know if we will ever see a call recorder app working properly with 2.2?

Hi all, does anyone know of an application that can control my samsung tv? There is an app on the ipod that can do it, but I haven't found anything similar on the desire, it runs through the wifi if that's any help(its a 2010)Internet tv.

I'm currently using the 1.27 version of Vitrious ROM (Sensation ROM) on my DHD (Ace) but can't use the 'Watch' app :-(
My suspicion is that the 'Watch' app won't work ("unknown error") as it knows its not a Sensation handset.
Can anyone make my DHD think its a Sensation???

Simplest way, would be to amend your build.prop to claim it's a sensation. Not sure it'll work but it's gotta be worth a shot though.
I have been searching for 2 months on ways to root desire HD, can't find any so I could change my rom.
Post links please for how to root these please custom roms that work well with desire HD.. have games to come with myfriends with

Search for Advanced Ace Hack Kit i rooted succesfully with it. You need to understand the manual and use brand sdcard like sandisk. With chinese ones i had problems

Ace hack kit has been discontinued for noobs. It is only for advanced users.
