Running WM 6.5 on a TMob Dash. Have the same rom on two phones but on the wifes whenever I go up to the connection slide and select Wifi. It says Disconnecting and then Wifi Off. The icon will never turn on red or blue. If I go into comm manager I can click on the Wifi and it will switch from Off to On but then it never pops up finding networks or even showing the icon on the main page as on. I have turned the power setting to Best Performance and unchecked the auto turn off after x mins. What could be causing it to not come on? Any help is greatly appreciated. This is my first post so if any other information is needed just let me know.
Ive noticed an annoying glitch with the Airplane Mode toggle, if I put it into airplane mode as I would at night, the following morning it wont re- connect and I have to toggle it on then reboot the phone to connect. This gets old pretty quick Any ideas? I'm on T-mobile contract and dont use Blur.
I've got a similar glitch where when I turn off airplane mode, the phone connects to the 3g data network even if 3g data is disabled in the options
rom: 2.51.1

Well... next time this happens try this for the hell of it: INFO (*#*#4636#*#* on dial pad) > Phone information > scroll down to "radio" and see if it is OFF. Turn it on and see if it then works.
Or... after you shut off airplane mode, have you tried turning on wifi? What happens?

Just tried this while radio still active (airplane mode off, i.e phone normal) amd hit Dial. Got a Running USSD code message then an error message, something like wrong MMI. No Phone information or options ( must only work when airplane mode is on)
I have the power control plus widget and everything seems to work fine except the mobile network icon. ive tried both icons, because i know it says if one of them doesnt work, use the other one. but the problem im having is that it will turn off, but i cant get it to turn back on and it is always highlighted. Another thing is that when i got to mobile network settings it says its on, but still no internet until i uncheck it and check it again.
My WiFi doesn't seem to connect to saved hotspots until the screen is turned on. Whenever I get to work or back home and I don't turn on my phone; a couple hours later when I actually turn on the screen it connects. Does anyone else have this issue or know what might cause it? I'm not using any power saving apps or any apps that affect my network.
Try going into Settings-> Wifi -> Click menu button and select "Advanced" and make sure "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" is set to always.

can anyone else verify this happens for them too? I have tried a complete format/wipe and loaded a stock 7105 rom and am still having the issue.
Maybe if you have power saver on, it does that? I know it's lot listed under what it's done, but you never know (;
Other than that, I can't think of anything other than keeping WiFi on during sleep.

it's off :< My roommate's S3 and my other roommate's N4 both auto connect without touching the phone. Once you turn the screen on it's already connected to wifi while mine is on edge until I power on the screen.
The only reason this is an issue is that I use grooveIP for calls through data, so if I have no reception here (i.e. no data) I won't be able to reliable receive calls unless I remember to power on my screen every time I come home.
HI forumers
can you suggest any help?
When I have my device screen turned off, my wifi stays connected. So in the middle of the night, emails will sting "ping" out a sound.
I have selected in the settings to turn off Wifi when in sleep, and when i close my case cover, but it just doesnt.. Any ideas?
Thanks
Yeah that doesnt work for me either. I would try setting a wifi timer in wifi, adavanced settings and pick a time where you want wifi to be on during certain times of the day. Hope this helps!
Really?! not just me then? I was wondering if maybe a downloaded app is making this error happen.
Can anyone confirm that it does work for them?
Guys, Have you tried to untick "always autorized localisation search" in the advanced parameter of the wifi ?
Hope it could help.
Good idea, but I've just tried this and it didnt fix the problem..
Anyone else?
Or maybe someone knows an app that can do this?
