[Q] DEFY 2.3.3 GB Orange some process is crashing - Defy General

I have problems with this rom. First, when the system starts, a process stops to work (com.android.settings) and the swype input doesn't work either. I think these problems are related. When I go to settings menu and select 'keyboard and language' the same process crashes. Could someone help me? Can I do the downgrade to 2.2 Froyo?

gtalk and market not working after rooting

Hi,
I just updated my radio to 5.09.00.08 and using Defrost 2.5a
The problem is that I can no longer start Google talk (via the talk app) and also the market.
(it gets an error message for gtalk and not the other apps)
should I re-root the radio rom or any way to fix the issue?
sorry for the newbie question...
Did you do a full wipe first? Try Pays or Neos ROMs as I haven't had problems with those .... Also sometimes it takes a few reboots before the Froyo ROMs settle down.

[Q] Market Application started to crash on Froyo

Hi Guys, While trying to start the Market app for the past few days, I get the following error message:
Sorry!
The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
This started after I upgarded to Froyo 2.2.
Is there any known issue about this problem?
Thx
i have same problem
after upgrade you need to do the factory reset, it will fix all of your problems with the market gps and other applications, let us know how it goes. good luck
i had that problem on jp2 2.2 havent had it on jpy 2.2.1
in manage apps/clear cache didnt' work.. try that first.. if it doesnt work
(this is for market_ try uninstall updates..
it usually happens if there is a hung update killing the queue.. . for some reason it then works after you uninstall updates. and then the updates reinstall anyway.
Had the same problem with stock internet browser after updating to froyo (JK4, Bell canada). I did factory reset then eveything is fine now. Hope it does not FC itself again.
Got the problem too. Tried downgrading 5 versions, cleaning cache then manually deleting setting, changed kernels. No good. I give up. Market can kiss my ass

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15341774&postcount=8
I came back to CEE Froyo and I have succesfully installed WajkIUI but now many apps crashes. For exemple after a fresh wipe I can acces to the market, download apps. But after a while the procces com.android.vending crash. I can't start angry birds the process is crashing to. Sometimes after restarting my phone 'acore' process crashes to. someteimes I can't allow non market apps. This is exactly the same when I flash CM7
I've tried to clean cache with adb shell it's not working
Anyone can help me please ? thanks

[Q] Help! "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped"

All,
I did not heed the warning but flashed the Turbo script even though I did not have the required recovery. I was using 4ext. I am on the newest PAC rom, S-Off and now have clockwork recovery 5.0. Every since the Turbo flash I get the persistent system UI error when I boot up. When I click OK it pops back up. I have flashed Chilly's super wipe and did a fresh install. I let Play store download all apps and everything was fine after a reboot. Then I started fixing all of my settings, All was fine until i did a reboot. I need help please.
**EDIT**
I am trying everything I can, and may have found the culprit.... please hold, still testing
**EDIT**
Fixed, I will notify chilly. If you disable "Quick Settings" on PAC 4.2.2 you will get stuck with this error. Just be patient and re-enable it.
