I really want an HTC theme. The only thing I found was a rom based on an old build, I think it was called Bubs wisdom or something like that. Anyways, would anybody be able to make an HTC style theme or extract the one from the rom and make it work with ec05?

I think there are a couple launchers like adw or helauncher that have htc sense themes. Other than that, there has been word going around about a sense romantic ported to thbe epic, but don't know the status of the project.

Yea I saw that but someone in the thread did ask for EC05. So hopefully that project isn't dead and we get a port for both EC05 and EF02. Is it possible to pull the messaging, phone dialer, contact .apk's from this port and push them to system/app in a GB theme? I think those .apk's over a GB theme is kind of sense looking.

Update: 18th 10 2009 22:58UK added 4.0.4 and 4.1.999 versions.
I know this is for an older version of cyanogen's ROM but this is still the version I'm running, this theme is for Cyanogen ROM 4.1.11.1, the last release before it all got 'interesting'.
I've called this 'MarksTheme' because I'm Mark, and I made most of this theme.
I say 'most' because I took some from Enoch and EnochX, some from m_blend (loving the red), and added a load of my own Icons.
The wallpaper you see in the screenshots isn't included, it's one of my photographs (I do that kind of photography for a living).
Credits to the makers of both, particularly Enoch and EnochX which got me started
I will update this to whatever version of cyanogen ROM I happen to be using, if you want to use it with another version you can strip the icons out of the zip file and put them into a template or another theme made for another version of the ROM.
I will also tweak and play with this version whenever the mood takes me and time allows.
This theme uses the standard launcher with 5 screens, I found the advanced launcher still a bit laggy.

Thanks for the feedback.
I really like the look of this theme if you have some free time can we get a .9999 port?

the .999 may work fine, not sure, I'll see if I can get hold of a template for .9999 tomorrow.
Building a launcher from scratch. I put one together in GO Launcher yesterday, but thought it would be too much effort to setup since it'd be a memory hogger, so did my mockups this morning and here's the result:

In the end it'll support all the Gingerbread and ICS variants of the Kindle ROMs. I'm not sure about stock yet, but I'll keep it in mind seeing as this will have none of the issues the stock launcher has. All the book/reference related apps will have book type icons. I'll theme the search bar aswell.
I'm going to work on building it in Eclipse this week.
Quietly awesome.
To my mind, no need to tell, that we all are waiting for it.
great ..........................

This is quite interesting really. I'm assuming it would work the same way the stock launcher does, but on CM7/9?

Agreed!!!!!
Hmm, seems I need to step up on my launcher project .
Btw if your going to support stock just keep in mind that the wallpapermanager instance is null for some reason (amazon really wants you to keep your mits off it)
So implement your own wallpaper manager if you plan on giving that option seems the only other launcher I saw working on stock dose that (GO launcher).
Also if you need to take a look there is a partial fix for that in my hatching branch https://github.com/neolode/Project-Drake/tree/hatchling0.1
Cheers and good luck can't wait to see your work.

Just curious... Female Devs seem to be few and far between...
OP, are you going to have a github? Open Source? Lurking on IRC anywhere?
In other words, I'd be very interested in helping.
1. Yes, I am female.
2. I will be putting it on github as soon as I get the base done. Which should be by Saturday for those that really need a ETA.
3. I'm always on the kindlefire-dev channel. Not always at the keyboard, but you can leave me a message.
This looks very cool. Let me know if you need anyone to test, i'd be more than happy.
Nice mockups. You've probably already gotten this far, but in case it helps. I have no idea how to get the list of books or documents, or download items from the cloud.
This adds the ability to swipe to remove notifications to the left or the right.
This does NOT remove the ability to clear notifications one at a time. (which was a major pain!)

hey man this is much appreciated!
I put in a lot of time learning the Android system, and I enjoy sharing what I am able to do.
I have fun doing it and a thank you goes so much farther than some will ever understand.
The Rezound community was very depressing.
not only for myself, but just about every Dev/modder/themer, basically anyone who put in their free time for the good of the community
I would get thousands of downloads and under 10 people would give me a thanks.
now I'm not one of those guys who gives a hoot about how high my "thanks" meter is on XDA.
but something like that just made me not want to even share my work, and it even pushed away very high recognized developers.
So a post like this really does make my day!
Well it's from the heart. Too bad about the Rezound people (those people), but maybe we all should thank them that they drove you so hard in our direction!
I know you're by far not the only one who deserves thanks. I think we're all glad to have such a cool group of folks willing to do so much.
I just found this mod, and I want to say thank you
Will the ICS themed version work on a GB rom (your BONESTOCK or Nit's M)?
I tried wiping dalvik and cache before flashing and I get stuck at the white HTC screen on Nit's M. Haven't had a chance to try again with another rom though...
Just wanted to see if it is supposed to work and I maybe got a bad DL or flash.

Doesn't answer the question of supporting multi-dpi.
Also don't forget your providing this as a separate app and making the claim "best dialer for sgs2" and in doing so offering a development to all roms and users.
If your only going to develop it for your app, delete this thread and keep your apps to your rom.
it clearly says
"[Dailer][Call rec][LPG Tested]"
feel free to test it on any rom you want to =)
Perfect!
I love it! it's excellent. I would like to ask you a favor, could you build a similar one but with a full screen caller id? I know it's not to popular but I have a few friends including me who would love it.
Thank's in advance!

But even like this is not so clear. LPG, yes, but odexed or deodexed? Thanks!
Um, i just flashed it on my LPG odexed with Jkay, and it doesn't work. I get this error when i click on phone or contacts...
"Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped."
Does anyone have the original LPG phone.apk? (I only had my user apps backed up with Titanium Backup, and I'd really prefer not to use my Nandroid backup from a few days ago.
Thx!
Looks like i need the contacts.apk too.
Looking for AOSP theme for JMTX. Does anyone have the STOCK BAT 1% MOD zip file for JEDI MIND TRICK V8? Gonna see if it works for vX. The dl links in the original AOSP theme thread no longer work. Thanks in advance!
Here's the one Im using. Its a blue theme I believe from THIS thread.

Yea I saw that, thanks. Trying out the flash now.
I wasn't a fan of that battery, and he had a darker blue that I really liked.
AOSP+LKSC+Circle Batt Mod
I don't know if this helps, but I found that I was able to use Foreverloco's theme for (TDJ's Darkside V7 evo) the AOSP/Lockscreen and Batt mod on JMTvX1 and it worked fine. At least, I am flashed, back into my os, testing the lock screen and have the Circle battery mod. The toggles are Green still, but I think combining another mod will fix it right up.
I am a little bit to tired right now to investigate further (3:45am). But feel free to PM me if you want me to share it with you.
Only glitch I found, was when the Lockscreen enables the camera, if you use another third party app, instead of the default, it will cause a hard freeze, and may need a reboot. Stick with the stock Camera app, and it works golden.
Here are pics of what it looks like.
If it's ok to share, and people give me the go ahead, I can post it here as well.
Good Night Gents
Edit: Apparently the camera issues were my fault, caused by restoring APK's from a previous OS without installing and granting permissions. So I uninstalled and re-installed and I no longer get the crash.
Short and Sweet: So far the Darkside evo 3 AOSP/Clock theme version works for JMTvX1.
I will do a field test today and see if it all works. more updates later.
