[Q] Port HDR Support - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Just saw this on my tweets. Anyone think it would be possible to port to a Desire ROM?
http://www.talkandroid.com/48079-synergy-rom-updated-to-rc2/?utm_source=AndroidDigest&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+AndroidNewsGoogleAndroidForums+%28Android+News%2C+Rumours%2C+and+Updates%29

Look, kids! This question IS valid for ROM development. But it still doesn't belong here...

What's so special about it?

Built in reader?
I find that the stock HTC 'Reader' app does the job quite nicely, is this included in your rom?

Sense Camera on AOSP Roms

Hi Guys,
is there any way to port the Sense 4.0 Camera App to an AOSP Rom like CM9?
This would be awesome for me.
Any idea or maybe a tip for a CWM Zip?
Thanks.
Wrong section dood. This post should be in the Q&A. Please read the rules!
Btw. Not possible due to the framework. It's necessary to rework the whole app.

How about atleast the interface and features like slow mo, group portrait, and the filters, but not the imagesense stuff, wont that be easier? And how hard would it be to rework the whole app?

Can't be done, the only way is a sense rom with aosp look like Renovate (or team venom with the aosp skin). So it looks like stock ICS but has the sense camera.

Do you look features after rom flash?

I've been reading a lot of threads trying to find the right stable rom for me, but I have a few concerns. If I where to wipe the default rom for a xda dev rom would I lose the beats audio functionality? Also would I lose the htc camera app for stock android camera app instead?
If the answer is yes for one of the above, is there a modified stable version of sense 4.0 for cdma that cuts the bloat but keeps beats and the camera app?

Hmm... what I understand is 5.0 is only GSM.
4.1 is a test CDMA...
but I never try, so not so sure.
