astro file manager license - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

hi, i purchased astro file manager a while ago and after an firmware update i cant seem to find the astro pro key anymore in the android market . when i go to the webste of android market. i see it there but is shows "this app is not co;patible with your device. but i installed it on this device in the first place. what to do? any help?

Try finding the direct .APK to it and install it manually.
here a link I found, didnt test it personally
so, XDA wont allow me to post a link as im new here. so I went on google and Searched for "Astro Pro .apK " the first link is to the App. download it, move it to your SD and Install it from the basic Astro.
Cheers!

Samsung Apps: NAVFone

NOTE: Only Singapore Map is available, for the time being.
I just checked my Samsung Apps, there's a new app called NAVFone.
After installation & running for the first time, it'll download the maps & other data (59Mb). I think it's only available for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines...
..Well it is not Google Maps but you can use it offline so +1 to that
EDIT: Attached the apk file, hope it'll work for everyone.
Double EDIT: Attached the downloaded data files (Singapore MAP only), just extract & place it on /sdcard/navfone
NavFone 2.0.271 update Oct-06-2010!

Didn't show up on my samsung apps (eclair JG4 australia). I'm guessing it's location specific then as you say Wouldn't mind some free (and legit) nav software lol.
Any chance you guys who have it upload the apk file somewhere? Thanks.
not available in Indonesia I think, can't find it.
Still preferred ndrive. UnInstalled
Thanks. I accidentally deleted my icon and could not redownload from Samsung Apps. You did me a favour.
This app doesn't reappear in the samsung app store after uninstallation. Using the attached apk always fc during data downloading.
I'm using Singtel i9000 but couldn't see the app. Good post.
I think you're supposed to use Kies to get it downloaded. Otherwise it can be found at their samsung store (not the app) the website itself, samsungapps.com/
I'll try to upload the downloaded files later when I get home.
UPDATE: just attached the downloaded files.. (on my first post) only Singapore Map though...

did you try to install using the attached .apk? what is the error message?
Hi,
Thanks. I just downloaded from the link given by you. Does it requires Kies to paste the .apk file into my sd folder. I checked the navfone all files still inside my folder except the .apk file. Does it sove my problem to getting back the icon?
Tks
can you provide the maps for malaysia as well?

you can send the .apk via bluetooth or via USB mass storage or kies..
then browse the phone and install using a file manager like EStrongs File Explorer or ASTRO File Manager

[Q] How to install apps?

How do I install apps? I looked on in the htc evo wiki and other q&a's but couldnt find it. Im new to the evo, so i dont know what im doing.
I download a com.[app name].apk file from my pc. I allowed unknown sources, now i dont know what to do.
You'll need a file that you can open the .apk, I use linda file manager (which you can download from the market).
Do you have root explorer or any kind of file reader app installed

thanks it worked great. So I'm guessing this is the procedure to installing apps.

Any apps you download as .apks you will need a file manager to run. Astro works well as well. If you are rooted, use root explorer.
Think of it like Windows. To install something you have to use Explorer and run the .exe.

Where Does Amazon Store the APK When Downloaded?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything.
Where does amazon store the APK when it is downloaded to install?
I'd like to make a backup.
Thanks
Apps are installed to /data/app. You need a browser like root explorer to see them (ES File Explorer doesen't display them).
Or if you want to backup the ones you haven't installed but
have downloaded they will be in
sdcard/Android/data/com.amazon.venezia
The only file I have in here is a cache folder with a vnx26455.apk which I don't think is it?
I did find some in the data/app but not all and certainly not the amazon ones :S However most of the apps there seem to be the ones installed on the phone whereas all the other apps are on the SD Card.
I am using an HTC Desire running the stock rom (with root access).
EDIT: Managed to find them (I think) using root explorer: mnt/asec/ - although they are all called pkg.apk :S
Thanks
mine was in /sdcard/download folder

You will find it
HERE:
/Android/Data/com.amazon.mShop.android/files
The obb/data is merged in the APK itself
Hope that helps ?
:good:
BTW: make sure to get it before installation.. Cuz i think it will delete itself once it installed

Can't download to phone

I am unable to download files to my phone i just get download failed every time I click on a link. I remember having this problem with my vibrant but can't remember the fix. If someone could remind me that would be great. Thanks
Get astro file manager from the market. Its free. Open it, hit menu then preferences
the check download all files. Should be kosher then!
Get Download All Files from the market.. Works with stock browser

[Q] Help with missing market app

Hi guys,
I have a bit of a strange problem. It seems that I lost almost all the apps on my phone. I had a crash during skiing whit my phone in my pocket and after the next restart almost all my downloaded apps are gone. When I go to "Manage applications" I can see their URI's (com.blablabla.blablabla) but when I click them it says that they no longer exist. I can install new apps that i have on the SD card so it seems that if I reinstall them I should be fine. The problem is I don have the market app, and when I try to install it from a downloaded .apk it says "Application not installed" and no additional info.
So my question is where do I go from here? Do I have to somehow clean every trace of the market and then reinstall it?
I'm running CM7.1
Any help would be awesome
You should be able to copy the market apk to your system app folder, and then set permissions to match the other apps in there, I think it's

Or something like that.

My bad Thx
side load the market app , look for the apk of the web (maybe xda) market is called vending apk , copy to sd card then use file browser eg astro to install .
if you do not have a file browser in that rom you can send a email to yourself with the apk (be sure to have unknown sources on ) then click download after it has downloaded it should apear in your download app or status bar click it then it will allow you to install the app .

If you read my original post you 'll see that I already tried that and it's not working.
Anyway I reflashed CM7.1.
