If you can go into 2nd init >recovery> custom recovery > full wipe, factory reset.
also after that clear cache partitions...and in advanced clear davlik...
after that reboot and keep pressing the vol up key untill the bootloader appers...now connect usb and open rsd lite 4.9 (install all the motorola drivers before that..) , select your sbf file to full flash to your regions FROYO official rom or any other froyo rom ..(NORDIC..)

[Q] Stuck at RSD Lite

ok guys, i really need some help here. not sure what i did wrong, but been stuck at this point for hours. i followed the methods as below
1. Install RSD Lite and USB Driver Motorola
2. Root your Defy with SuperOneClick (guide can be found on previous spoiler)
3. Install System Recovery apk file. Open the app and click Install System Recovery ( place System Recovery apk file in your SD Card)
4. Extract the file Froyo_UK_3.4.2-117 and place the folder in sdcard/goapkrev/backup ( if you cannot find the folder, create one)
5. Click Recovery boot and it should enter clockwork mod recovery
6. Navigate to backup/restore. Do a Backup for your current stock rom (navigate using volume up/down and press Power Button to enter)
7. Wipe data and wipe dalvik cache (in Advanced Options) in the recovery mode
8. Restore Froyo_UK_3.4.2-117
9. Click reboot and right after that press and hold down volumn up button and you should be in boot mode
10. Plug in you Defy to computer and open RSD Lite. Open the file TmobileUS_Boot_Devtree and flash with it.
problem comes when i'm at flashing using RSD lite. when i flash it, it comes to 'please manually power up your phone'. problem is, i keep getting the motorola logo, which i assume is being stuck in a boot loop? i tried to go to recovery and wiping data and cache, and flashing it again, but keep having the same problem.
actually, how to you manually power up the phone? i did a battery pull since pressing the power button seems to get is stuck in the same boot loop, and i dont see any other way.
please help!
Pull battery,
put battery back in holding the VOL-Down until the android pops up...
press VOL-Up and VOL-Down at the same time.
Next screen is for wiping and updating.
Wipe Data/Cache
When done, go to REBOOT and hold down the VOL-Up to go into Flash mode. and flash with RSD 4.9
http://www.multiupload.com/ZZ4TU8W7UQ (This is for US T-mobile.)
You should be good to go...
i think i did a stupid thing and flashed the whole thing with a uk_rom.sbf. now my defy is showing a black screen but during flashing with a TmobileUS_Boot_Devtree.sbf, the screen does show SW Update but once finish, it's all black again.

Make sure the phone is OFF, after that hold the vol-down and power button and KEEP holding vol-down until you see an Android in a box with arrow pointing out..... them press vol-up + vol-down at the same time to enter another screen which will aloow you to wipe data/cache.
Once you've wiped.... download the sbf I linked you and use RSD to flash that in flash mode (vol-up + power on)
no dear, for defy after u see the traingle of android
press the lower right which is hedin
and a menu will popup to u
this is the defy
Anyway, solved it by flashing it with a Finland rom 3.5.2
Maybe I made a mistake somewhere and bricked it, but now running a non-downgradable froyo, but I'm not bothered. Thanks for the help

[Help] Broken Defy

Last chance i see to save my phone is by posting here...
So, what i did:
1. Downloaded and installed ClockworkMod 2.5.1.8 (com.kb7sqi.defy.boostrap.old.apk)
2. Made a full BackUp (stored on PC and SD-Card)
3. Wipe data/factory reset + Wipe cache
4. Selected "CyanogenMod 7"-ROM for install
5. Install succeded -> chose "Reboot"
6. Defy stuck at Boot-Loop for like 30 Mins.
7. Removed battery -> held volume down + power button
8. NO ClockworkMod showed up ... instead "Android system recovery <2e>" shows up
9. Wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache doesn't do anything at all
10. only other options are "reboot system now" (, which got me stuck at Boot-Loop again) and "apply sdcard:update.zip" (where do i have to get the update.zip?)
So, i tried to connect my Defy via USB (installed Motorola Defy USB-Drivers and RSD Lite (tried 4.7+, 4.9 and 5.0). None of the RSD Lite Versions could recognize my phone while it's in "Android system recovery <2e>". So i can't "flash" a stock-rom (sbf-Files)...
I tried downloading an update.zip (CookieCutter ROM i found in another forum) and placed the file in the root-directory of my SD-Card. When i chose "apply sdcard:update.zip" i get the Errors:
"E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted."
So please, i need your help... how can i save my phone and put it back into the old state? ... thanks in advance
Quick Edit:
I managed to get into "BootLoader" by holding volume up-button, but as soon as it starts it says "Battery Low - Cannot Program" and exits... i charged my defy for hours... "should" be no problem... if it even charges correctly, i don't know... if i connect it via USB to charge it, i got a white light and black screen... nothing seems to charge at all...
I think there is only one thing you can do: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=892026
You defy is not bricked.
But in the state your device is, it cannot charge the battery.
You need to charge the battery with another phone or charger in order to flash an sbf with RSD lite.
Or you can try this hack: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=892026
It was worked form me some time ago...
Thanks for the hope, i'll try this workaround tomorrow, hope it goes well.
So when i actually get the BootLoader working my PC and therefore RSD Lite should recognize my phone and then i just can flash my device with any official .sbf and it works? And when it's flashed i can reinstall ClockworkMod and install my old backup? :X
Do not be afraid. Your Defy is not briked. What should you do after you manage to charge your phone, if your battery is to low:
1) boot it in stock recovery (Vol Down + Power); the Android with a exclamation mark will appear on the screen; you'll have to press both volume buttons (if you had froyo)/press the right lower corner on the screen(if you previously had eclair)
2) wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache
3) restart your phone in bootloader (Vol Up+ Power)
4) connect it to your pc and start RSD Lite 4.9
5) Flash the SBF with RSD Lite (choose one from this topic, maybe you can find there the version that was on your Defy before you tried to put CM7, you might find there also other useful tips)
To install CM7 you need to upgrade your software to Froyo, if you are on Eclair, then install 2nd Init v1.4.2 from this topic and then install CM7. It won't work without 2nd Init and kb7sqi recovery mod doesn't have also the 2nd Init modules. However before upgrading to CM7 you can read this topic as there you'll find all the steps required to install CM7.
You should borrow another battery or charge using desktop charger first.
Try wipe data & cache first from stock recovery. If it doesn't make any change, you can try flash with full sbf. Once had this problems too. Solved with full sbf flash + wipe data & cache.
Good News, i got it charged with the trick and successfully installed the stock ROM via RSD Lite. But now i always get "MD5 mismatch!"-Error when i want to restore my backup created with Clockworkmod :S...
Check if your folder, where the nandroid is stored, contains any spaces in the name. If so remove the spaces.
Yeah, i already did that and tried to fix it with:
# cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2011-05-23.16.30.06
# rm nandroid.md5
# md5sum *img > nandroid.md5
Click to collapse
but without success... :S
Solved Battery Low Cannot program
pull ur battery out and put in and connect it with wall cherger motorola original.!
that's done.
works for me//
hit thnx. for me
Hi,
I have exactly the same problem but my phone USB-port really doesnt work.
I managed to put the orig. Froyo and changeged the bootlogo but did a mistake with erasing CWM. Now the Defy is stuck in Bootloop.
I can only reach the Bootloader and the Android Recovery System.
I need a working update.zip to flash the phone via SD-card.
Start over again follow forum rds lite sfb flash then root again

I have similar problem. I stuck in boot loop. I am able to go into stock recovery and did a data wipe & cache wipe. Still I am in boot loop. RSDlite also does not shows my phone. Tried in several PCs with different USB cable. But no luck. If there is a possibility to flash stock rom with update.zip, please help me with update.zip. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

[GUIDE] How to install 2.3.4 для Defy - 134

This is a fantastic ROM! I can only say that I am very surprised to see this kind of quality interface coming from MOTO. Anyway, to help those who're new to this, I've written a somewhat comprehensive installation guide below.
Preparation
1. Firstly, you’re going to need all these files
a. Rooted-nandroid-backup + fixed sbf from http://www.multiupload.com/SPZ8SIEC60
b. Superoneclick from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
c. Defy ClockworkMod Recovery from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875233
d. Latest RSD Lite and Drivers from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=11005852. Install the RSD Lite and appropriate drivers into your PC (32-bit or 64-bit)
3. Follow instructions at the Superoneclick thread to root your Defy
4. Follow instructions at the ClockworkMod Recovery thread to install System Recovery into your Defy
5. Launch System Recovery and install Recovery System
6. Perform Recovery Boot (USB debugging MUST BE TURNED OFF in your Defy. It’s located under Settings – Applications - Development)
7. Create a nandroid backup of your current system by scrolling to “Backup & Restore” using VOL UP/DOWN key, and POWER button to execute (this is so that you can return revert back to your official ROM for warranty purposes)
8. Reboot normally
9. Extract the rooted nandroid backup + fixed sbf file you downloaded earlier. The filename should be “shadow4.5.1-134rootednandroid.zip”. You should see 2 folders “fixed-sbf” and “nandroid backuo”
10. Copy the “shadow4.5.1-134nandroid” folder (not just files, but the whole folder) to your SD card under “\goapkrev\backup”. So you should have “\goapkrev\backup\shadow4.5.1-134nandroid” in your SD card.
Actual Flashing Process
1. Launch System Recovery and perform a Recovery Boot (USB debugging MUST BE TURNED OFF in your DEFY. It’s located under Settings > Applications > Development)
2. At the bootmenu, use the VOL UP/DOWN key to move through the boot menu and perform a full wipe (Wipe DATA/Factory reset & Wipe CACHE Partition)
3. After both wipes are complete, go to “Backup & Restore” > “Restore” > “Advanced Restore” and you should see 2 items. Your earlier backup as well as the folder you put in earlier “shadow4.5.1-134nandroid”.
4. Select “shadow4.5.1-134nandroid” and choose “System Only”
5. After the restoration is complete, choose “Reboot System”, and IMMEDIATELY hold down the VOL UP key.
6. This will put you in bootloader mode.
7. Launch RSD Lite on your PC, and connect your DEFY to your PC
8. Let the appropriate driver installations take place
9. Select the fixed sbf file from the “fixed-sbf” folder. The filename should be “shadow4.5.1-134fixed.sbf” and Flash your DEFY
10. Be aware of the flashing progress. It’s very fast.
11. As soon as you see your device reboot, IMMEDIATELY hold down the VOL DOWN key.
12. This will bring you to stock recovery. Press both VOL UP and VOL DOWN key simultaneously to see the boot menu. Select items with the VOL UP/DOWN key, and POWER button to execute.
13. Perform a full wipe (wipe data/factory reset & wipe cache partition)
14. After both wipes are complete, hit “reboot system now”
15. Once your device completes the normal boot up process, RSD Lite should show the “PASS” status. Close RSD Lite and unplug your DEFY from your PC.
16. Enjoy!

I did up to step 6 in flashing process but when i got to connect to rsd lite the defy wasn't recognized by rsdlite.
Can you confirm you're in bootloader mode? Did you see your PC installing drivers?
yeah it was in bootloader mode. i pressed the up button when it rebooted.
On the screen it says bootloader 9.10
Battery OK
Ok to Program
And on the desktop i see the device installing once i plugged it in. Also when i check device manager it says motorola Usb device and when i expand that branch it says motorola flash interface.

Still in bootloader, you just unplug the usb cable and plug it back to the PC. Some WinXP will install several drivers separately upon each plug/unplug of the USB cable. The RSDlite required a few drivers for it to run properly.

anyone has 1% battery step for this rom?
i followed every step exactly as in the first post.. but after flashing and wiping data and cache, when the phone reboots, it just stays at the red moto "M" screen for 20 mins now and rsd just says to manually reboot the phone.. do i just close rsd and unplug? or wait? my battery might die :s
ok i redid everything from the beginning.. found where the problem is. when i do the advanced restore to the system only, it begins to check the MD5 sums and then says md5 mismatch.. please help me out here guys!

My Defy is dead - can not boot

To be honest i would like to get rid of motoblur and did a root and tried to flash CM7, but I must have done something stupid during recovery proces, because my defy is now dead. Originally my Defy ran a 2.1 eclair, but some months ago i updated to 2.2.2 froyo (french version I guess because I got it from the french Motorola website)
RSD Lite (tried 4.9 and 5.3.1) can not connect with my Defy and when I turn it on the Motorola logo is there for 10 sec and then the screen is black for a while until the logo gets back again and this can move on for hours and nothing happens.
I can only enter android recovery mode 3e and the bootloader page, but on the bootloader page it says that the battery is to low for programming, so now I am not sure if I can bring my Defy back in business because of a low battery.
I have tried several update.zip on the sd card as described, but it seems that I am not doing it right. Please somebody help...
Since you still have CWM recovery (push volumn up when the led lights blue), flash CM7.1 stable from the following page. It should fix your problem.
CM7.1 stable:
download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=stable&device=umts_jordan
By the way, I think the correct use of RSD lite is to enter bootloader and connect it to your computer.
still not working
I am not sure what you want me to do - can you describe the blue led - when will it appear.
Instead I tried the downloaded update.zip on my sd-card which you advised about. I made a factory reset, then applied for it on the sd-card. But after finding, opening and verifying the update package it said failed to verify whole file signature and installation aborted. So I am open for more ideas, because my phone is besides the recovery page still dead.
You need to flash through rsd-lite
Enter bootloader mode (volume up+ power)
download sbf file
Flash through rsd
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda premium
How are your Defy? Its still brick
First, you must have Multi purpose charger for charge your Defy battery
Then you must try to enter to stock recovery, to wipe data and wipe cache
Fianlly you must enter to Bootloader and try to flash Rom 2.2.2 SBF file with
RSD lite
If RSD lite cannot connect your Defy, you should try re-install Motorola USB driver and RSD lite again
After restart your commputer, try connect your Defy and flash SBF

Wifi connected but no internet acces

Hi guys , i m new here .
I have some problems with wifi .
- I can connect to my network after some time 30 sec , but only if i have checked "enable auto ip"
- when the connnection is done , i can t acces the internet .
This is all my story about my defy .
I updated first to froyo with "Motorola update manager" and after some time and alot of applications installed i done a factory reset . After that i was thinking to root my defy . I rooted and installed this .
Video Tutorial: How to install CM7.1 (Android 2.3.7) on the Motorola Defy
Click to collapse
Search that on youtube . The rom is this : update-cm-7.1.0-11-Defy-signed .
After this adventure ( first time for me ) i saw that wifi is not working and i tried to unroot my phone , to get back to 2.2 . After some wipe cache / factory reset and other things my phone started to boot in "Bootmenu or Recovery android .."
. From there i installed again CM7 , and after some time my phone got back screen . ( i think it s called bricked )
After i flash for 2 times some retail froyo i found this : JRDNEM_U3_3.4.2_117-002_BLUR_SIGN_SIGNED_USAJRDNEMARAB1B8RTGB035.0R_USAJRDNFRYORTGB_P003_A002_HWp3_Service1FF and my phone got revived .
This is my story , sorry for my english
Any solutions ?
The youtube tutorial doesn't mention a couple of important steps that may help to avoid problems with CM7. It is recommended to reboot the phone twice after installing 2nd-Init custom recovery. It is also recommended to wipe Cache and Dalvik before and after flashing the CM7 zip file. To do that, follow these steps:
Put the CM7 zip file on your SD card. If you want the Android Market and other Google apps, you must also put the Google apps zip file on your SD card. Links to both of these files can be found on the CM7 development thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033654
Root and install the "2ndInit Recovery Installer” app, as you did before. It's available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1032212
Run the app and install custom recovery (the version that is stable for CM-based ROMs), then reboot the phone. The first time you reboot, the custom BootMenu will display. Use the volume buttons to navigate the menu and the power button to select an option. Select Boot > Set Default > Normal > Go Back > Reboot System. After the phone has fully booted up, power it off and reboot again. If the custom recovery installed properly, a blue LED on the phone should briefly light up each time the phone reboots (while the Motorola logo is being displayed).
Turn off USB debugging on the phone (Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging), then power off the phone. Press the power button to turn the phone on again, and as soon as the blue LED lights up, press the volume down button. The custom BootMenu will display. Select Recovery > Custom Recovery.
In custom recovery, Wipe DATA/Factory reset, then Wipe CACHE Partition. Also go to Advanced and Wipe Dalvik Cache.
Then select Go Back > install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard, and install the stable build of CM7 (the file called “update-cm-7.1.0-11-Defy-signed.zip”). In the same way, install the google apps zip file (optional, but you won't have the Android Market or any other google apps unless you install it).
Then select "Go Back", wipe data, cache, and dalvik again (not strictly necessary, but may help to avoid some problems), then select "reboot system now”.
Once the phone has fully booted, you’ll have to switch the cellular radio bands to match the frequencies used by your carrier. A baseband switcher app is included with CM7. (In the 7.1.0-11 build of CM7, the baseband switcher can be found in the app tray, and is called “DEFY baseband switcher.” In the latest nightly builds, it is in Settings > Device settings > Baseband switcher.) Open the baseband switcher, click on the tab for your region, and select the option for your carrier. The phone will have to be rebooted again.
Thank s for the info .
Before doing this thing ( root + flash a new rom ) i have some questions.
1 . At the end of that youtube tutorial is the last reboot , then the home screen , apps etc . In my case the logo was running , and after that nothing. i had to pull out the battery
2. If i understood correctly i need to Wipe DATA/Factory reset, then Wipe CACHE Partition then Wipe Dalvik Cache before installing the new rom .
First time i did it without "wipe dalvik cache" . IT s important regarding wifi ?
3. I can go back to the original rom if something will go wrong ?
4.
Then select "Go Back", wipe data, cache, and dalvik again (not strictly necessary, but may help to avoid some problems), then select "reboot system now”.

What problems ?
I saw a bunch of threads regarding the wifi problem , i really need it and i don t want to go trough that panic feeling about the black screen , brick , you name it .
If you want to be able to go back to your present configuration easily without flashing another SBF in RSD Lite, you can back up your system in custom recovery before wiping data etc.
In custom recovery, go to Backup and restore > Backup, and this will create a backup image of your entire system on the SD card. (It’s a lot like creating a “restore point” in a Windows computer. It’s a good idea to back up your entire system like this from time to time anyway.)
Then, if you ever want to return the phone to its present state, just go into custom recovery again and select Recovery > Custom Recovery > Backup and restore > Restore (system & data), then select the system image that you’ve created.
I don't know if wiping cache & dalvik before and after installing CM7 will solve the wifi problem or not, but it's worth a try. If the wifi still doesn't work, you could also try flashing a more recent nightly build after flashing the stable version.
If that doesn't work either, you could then try installing an earlier build of CM7 -- some of those had different wifi modules, which may work better for you. Some earlier builds are available here: http://defy.wdscript.fr/jordan-nightly/
(look for the builds that say "BOOT" in the filename -- for example "cm7-110911-1924-BOOTWIFI3-Jordan.zip")
If the wifi works well with one of those, then you could install a more recent nightly (without the kernel) over it.
Thanks again .
I ll be back monday with an update on my phone status .

Ok i installed cm7 step by step from your tutorial , but the wifi is still not working .
Scanning... => Connecting... => Disconnected
Can you guide me to what old versions exactly to look for ?
When you say " try installing ..." you mean to start from here again ?

I attached a image too .
I found something that might work but i can t find that line because the file is read only :|
How to Solve the Motorola Defy ME525 WiFi Problem, WiFi Connected But No Internet Access serach this on google . IT s the first link chromloop
The problem you described (where the wifi keeps saying scanning > connecting > disconnected) can sometimes be solved simply by "forgetting" all your saved Wi-Fi networks and then re-adding them. Try this: go into Wi-Fi settings, long-press on each saved network, and select "Forget network." Then try adding a network again and see if it connects.
If that doesn't work, then you can try installing an earlier boot version.

Just go into the custom recovery, wipe cache and dalvik, then flash the zip file. (You don't even have to wipe data/factory reset again. Then you won't lose all your apps and settings.)
Here's a link to download the earlier boot versions: http://defy.wdscript.fr/jordan-nightly/
I'd recommend trying each of the following, in the order listed:
cm7-110911-1924-BOOTWIFI3-Jordan.zip
cm7-110822-1650-BOOT179-4-Jordan.zip
cm7-110817-1717-BOOT179-Jordan.zip
cm7-110726-0018-BOOTSEA-Jordan.zip
cm7-110615-1323-BOOT177-Jordan.zip
cm7-110610-0726-BOOT343-Jordan-downgrade.zip
Hopefully one of those will solve your wi-fi problem. If that works, then you can try flashing a more recent nightly build (without the kernel) over the working boot version, so you'll still have the latest features.
Good luck! Let me know how it goes.
Well the other night i disabled the wireless n function on defy by this tutorial .
Follow the steps:
1. Use the Root explorer, open this file path: “/etc/wifi/”,
2. Use the file editor to open the “tiwlan.ini”.
3. Find this two lines below, change the value if it is not 0.
HT_Enable = 0 # 0=diable 802.11n support
BurstModeEnable = 0 # 0 - Disabled 1 - Enabled
4. Save the file, then reboot your Defy.
And now shows me this Scanning... => Connecting... => Obtaining an ip address ...
I managed to connect to the internet trough wifi only if i had this settings on my modem . Huawei Hg655b but my Notebook Asus n53sv don t want to connect .
See the file attached . "Wifi on phone"
Second try , i activated the wep encryption and kept the other settings .
This time the Notebook connects just fine , but the phone is stuck on "Obtaining an ip address "
See the file attached "Notebook only"
2nd Problem . Market don t work . the version of google apps that i used is this : gapps-gb-20110828-signed
I attached an image with the error message .
Third problem . There is an official gingerbread rom from motorola for my defy or a good froyo rom ? ( no bloatware , and motorola crap )
The last thing that annoyed me was this rom , it s not fluid , it s laggy , not much but you can see it . . The games run good , no lag and i m afraid to oc the processor to 1000 mhz because the battery life .
That's strange that you're having so many problems with CM7. I wonder if the stable version you downloaded was a corrupted file... Maybe check to see if the MD5sums match. (You can get the MD5sum here: http://www.defy-cm.net/ )

No, the official gingerbread roms from Moto are only for the Defy+. If you install them on the Defy, your camera won't work (unless you have a red lense defy), and if you flash the full SBF you won't be able to downgrade to Froyo again.
However, there are a few other good gingerbread roms besides CM7 that work on Defy with green lense. You could try GreenbreadMod or the "Greenbread" version of MS2Ginger. You could also try MIUI (although that's based on CM7).
It s not a good experience for my first root & flash .
I can get back to the official 2.2 rom ?
If yes where i can find it ? Is possible to use moto update software like when i upgrated to 2.2 from 2.1 ?
The only things i want to do with this phone is to use it like a regulary phone , making photos , going on "trips" ( pool and beach) and game .
No wifi problems , No android market problems , just official 2.2. I m tired
Thx for your help again and again .
Someone tried to send it to the warranty with the official rom ?
Yes, you can easily restore it to the official rom if you have either an SBF or a nandroid backup of the official rom. Where are you from, and who is your cellular carrier? Sometime later today (hopefully), I'll write a quick tutorial for returning your phone to its stock condition.
I m from Romania and my carrier is ORANGE.
Did you backup your stock ROM in custom recovery before you installed CM7? If so, you can use that. Otherwise, you'll have to download the firmware (.sbf file) for your region. You may be able to find a working download link on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116732
Let me know which you will use (either the "nandroid" backup from custom recovery or the .sbf file), and I'll explain how to install it.

No , because it wasn t the official rom . After that mess ( 1st post ) ,i bricked the phone and my only option to get back was to flash with rsd this rom : JRDNEM_U3_3.4.2_117-002_BLUR_SIGN_SIGNED_USAJRDNEMARAB1B8RTGB035.0R_USAJRDNFRYORTGB_P003_A002_HWp3_Service1FF ( Wifi not working on this rom too )
This sbf is good ? "Original SBF mirror: http://www.multiupload.com/29QIKQH3W9"
Or "Anyway I made signed version.
Here you are. 3.4.2-179-002_CEE_deodexed-signed"

Yes, that's the one you want. The one you mentioned in your first post was made for the UK.
Now i download that original sbf .
What s Next ?
Before flashing an sbf file, it is recommended to wipe data and cache in the stock recovery. To get into the stock recovery, power off the phone, hold in the volume- button then also press and hold the power button. After a few seconds you should see a triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle, and a little green android guy below that. Then press the volume+ and volume- buttons at the same time, and a menu should appear. Use the volume buttons to navigate the menu, and the power button to select an option. Select "wipe data/factory reset" and also "wipe cache partition".
Then power off the phone again (or pull the battery). Make sure the battery is fully charged. Hold in the hold in the volume+ button and the power button at the same time. After about 5 seconds, release the buttons. The bootloader should display – it will show the version and a battery check. Then connect the phone to your computer and flash the sbf file using RSD Lite. (I'm assuming you already know how to do that, since you've done it before.) Wait until the phone has fully rebooted and RSD Lite says “Pass” before closing RSD Lite and disconnecting the USB cable. As an extra precaution, I usually power off the phone before disconnecting the cable.
Good luck!
i flashed the official rom and the wifi is still not working .
IT s stuck on this : Scanning... => Connecting... => Obtaining an ip address ... and sometimes it s connected to my wifi , but with no internet connection
The 3G is working .
I will play with the wifi settings to make it work .
You have any sollutions ?
That's very strange. Have you tried using it with a different wireless router? Maybe your router is the problem. Or your phone might have a hardware problem. Is it still under warranty?
Yes is still under warranty . Was bought last year on march .
After some tries on my router i was able to connect but without internet acces .
Other wireless router i don t have , but these days i ll go to check if the phone can connect to other wifi networks .
