Unfortunately that was not one of the kernels released yesterday.

:-( figures. Didn't see Xda light up about it lol.

I periodically go to http://developer.htc.com and check the list. When the source is released, it'll be on that site.

Cook thanks for the link

GB Sense Kernels

just wanted to know if any Dev's will develop any Sense GB kernels.. THERE IS STILL MILLIONS OF SENSE LOVERS OUT HERE ... Stuff like overclock, HAVS, e.t.c.

I'm sure they will but they have to wait till they release the source code for the new kernel before they can do that.

Didn't XxXVirusXxX extract the one that came with the OTA update yesterday?
UPDATE: The link to it is HERE.

Yeah but they can't do much with it like sbc , havs, bfs etc.. Till they get the source code.

Isn't that the kernel that screwed up people's WiFi and WiMax? I could've sworn that I have read people reporting issues with the kernel

Are there any SBC Kernels for gingerbread?

I'm looking for an SBC kernel to work with fresh 4.1.1
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
There are currently no kernels for gingerbread sense roms because the source code has not been released yet. I am assuming fresh is a sense Rom, so this would apply. If the Rom is aosp then I believe you can use the cyanogen kernels (but they are not sbc).

I don't think there is a 'date' scheduled.
When HTC decides to. Ask them but bet they won't tell you either.

yes and no. the devs can decompile the kernel from the OTA but without the source code they wont be able to compile their own kernel.

I suggest you read this article, but to sum it up, it's very hard to decompile a program, and you never know if you got it right. Decompiling would only be useful if the source code was never going to be released and there was enough value in spending the time to reconstruct the decompiled code.

Did Tmobile release the source to the last firmware!

I don't believe that we're waiting as long as a month for sources from Tmobile. What is the hold up, why can't we enjoy what they made?

What source do you mean? The latest released is ICS 4.0.4. Also, they are released my Samsung, not T-Mobile.
