Alternate apps for Google Music

Hi
I just got my Galaxy Nexus yesterday. I was going from a phone that had an sd card slot that I could put my music on. I figured I could live with the less hard disc space because I can stream my music from Google music.
That seems to work fine, but the music app is a little light on features. It's not horrible, but coming from Power Amp, it's a little basic.
Is there any other apps that can stream from google music, and have more features, like EQ and such.
Thanks
Wich app...do u need man

Google music still has a private API, so no other app can stream from it.

Drag.
Ok, thanks for the replies
If you use iTunes too, try double twist. Features are alright and it syncs with your iTunes musics including the playlist that was great coming from the guy who had iPod touch. You can also sync it via wifi but that's extra 5 bucks...

An unofficial Google Music API has been out for some time.

Google play music has a EQ of sorts when playing a song tap the settings dots then sound effects. From there you get a 5 band EQ bass boost and #D expansion thing.
you can use different music managers with google music.... i.e. DSP manager, vodoo etc.

The Google music app has an equalizer! Just click on the 3dots in the upper right corner when you are in the play screen

No apps stream from Google music. The api isn't avaolable. So your only option is the official app

I found Google Music to be very lacking. I uploaded all my music to Amazon and haven't looked back since. Best cloud player and music store for sure. Plus, if you buy just one album per year you get unlimited music storage free (no yearly fee)

Your favorite apps?

So I purchased a 32 gig nexus 7 about a week ago and really like it so far. I can even see it replacing my ipad as my primary tablet. However, the one app that always forces me back to my ipad is a jailbroken app called movie box that allows me to stream movies and tv shows for free. I was wondering if there is any android app out there that is similar (please do not mention crackle because imo that app doesn't cut it) that people are using. I know I can download torrents all day using ttorrent but was looking for streaming. Also, what are your guys' favorite apps to use on the nexus 7 that u couldn't do without?
Netflix

Screamin streamin (or lack there of)

Hello all, I have recently been trying to stream media to my note 2 via some sort of cloud storage. I have been looking for a way to use my phone to play movies I have stored on Cloud Data such as Dropbox. Dropbox does not allow you to stream data past a certain size so I cannot play any file that is longer than a couple minutes. I would like to stream this data to both my note 2 as well as Transformer infinity. Can anybody help me with a cloud storage that supports streaming? Or even better perhaps an app that will allow me to stream this data.

I use Plex. I know it's not cloud storage, but it works too well not to mention. You install Plex on your PC and point to your videos, music or photos. Then install Plex on your phone and you can now stream everything. Clean user interface and great support.
Will try it thanks!

there's plex.
also i use bubble upnphttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bubblesoft.android.bubbleupnp
quote from their description.. "UPnP Media Server: play your local phone/tablet media to other devices or to your Android device (standalone media player). Browse and play your local phone/tablet media from other devices (PS3, WMP, ...). Able to browse the SD Card. Google Music and Dropbox streaming supported"
Avia supports streaming directly from dropbox, although admittedly I haven't uploaded and entire movies just home videos. Also RealPlayer Cloud and Google Photos will let you stream. I have been using google photos and with the new pricing plan you can get all your movies on the cloud pretty cheap. The best way in my opinion is to hook up a hard drive to your router and stream from there using any UPnP app.
