probably not since we dont have the kernel for donut or cupcake the lowest kernel we have is eclair the only way is to make compile your own kernel

Is there a way to get the CM7 tube animation as a flash zip? I'm currently running Incredibly Re-engineered ROM. I know CM gets a lot of praise, but Inc Re-engineered is fast. If I could just flash this animation, than my set up would be complete (for a while anyway).
Only works for gingerbread roms as of right now. The search function is your friend there are ALOT of threads about this and some actually have work towards getting the animations on other roms if I remember right.

Does that mean CM7 is built using 2.3? That's cool. I just thought it was portable like the gb keyboards.

It seems like everyday there's more sense roms being made, I don't get what's so great about it? Its ugly, and hogs a lot of memory. Its hard to find a decent up to date gingebread rom
Sent From My G2 using XDA app
I felt that way at one point. But coredroid is now my favorite. Provides a lot of functionality that could be used more in other roms.
To each their own right...try learning how to build and make something yourself or at lest customize a rom you like
I'm trying but its hard to get help around here for that

When iceandfire or gingervillian updates their roms ill be happy but untill then :?

Not sure if you've tried, but RMK's Virtuous G-Lite is a stock(ish) GB ROM with which I am having zero issues with at the moment. I would say it's as close to AOSP as you can get with OC which just makes things better.
Since getting the DZ, i've only used RMK (and his teams) ROMs and i've loved each of them. G-Lite just comes out on top IMO.
Ehhh I like gingerbread and cyanogen mixes like xboarders and iceandfire and the like

.ud.com I think..just google "ultimate droid for tmobile g2" and you will get the site with the download. I believe 3.3.1 is the latest release
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA Premium App
The ud site is down. But yeah, get it from the unlockr.com. I'm running it right now and its probably on par with pyromod. Id say a little faster.

why is it down? I was wondering why it wouldn't let me go to it.

Hey guys, I just picked up an evo yesterday, and am trying to figure out what are some good roms out there that have 4G working? Any good rom/kernel combos?
Also what are some roms that are small. I've noticed that some of them are pushing 200mb, and when I've got 300mb or so free, size is a factor, I don't care what she says!

if you want to use sense, try MikG or tommytomato classic rom. Aosp roms decks is the best.

It's weird coming to a new phone, nothing is familiar to me. It looks like there are a lot of old threads that aren't developing be are still staying alive. It gets a little confusing. Lol
Anything has to be better that touchwiz. I don't see MikG's anywhere.

Size really isn't a factor for many roms since most of them support dta2sd.

It's cool bro, but I actually use my phone to make calls.
I ran the skyrocket version of cm7 for about a month, and its VERY buggy. Ours is definitely smoother.

Is it do-able? I know that things like the GNex, and an evo have gotten some of the open source versions of it, so why not us? How hard could it be?

Well, it all comes down to the willingness of a developer if he/she wants to port it or not. If you question the availability of porting webos, then you try porting it then.
Another option would be good, but at this point, why? With ics stable and jb stable around the corner, it really doesnt make sense for a dev to port it. Webos lacks alot compared to android.

The developers always love challenges. They might port it if it is interesting enough. I think the matter is whether we have the good enough developers, who use S2.

I think our developers are good enough to do it its just we don't have a lot of them compared to other phones. The more there are the better the odds are of something like that happening.. We are still better off than other phone models!

We only have few active developers. Some also have left oir community. So, i guess we should enjoy JB instead of dreaming about webOS.

Just for **** and giggles, if you go to the sr forum and flash the aromakang you have an option for sense 4 two and webos. Just a lil FYI. Does not need any rotation fix or anything like that.

I been looking online for a webos launcher or a good theme thats not for cm9. But no luck, also there is a webos theme for gb miui not miuiv4 for some reasons gb miui themes are not compatible with miui v4. sure wish there could be a easy way of converting gb themes work on ics miui rom. Seems like Gb was more popular on themes than ics
I've been doing some looking... it honestly doesn't look so difficult.
