Hello everyone,
I really didn't know where to post this because I can't post in the ROM's thread so here I go....
I just flashed the new ROM (5.2.2) and the android market keep's crashing so I've cleared the market data from the app manager, that didn't work, then I used mike's "super wipe" and flashed again, this time it workd until I rebooted the device.
So now I really don't know what to do.
And again sorry if this is the wrong forum
Thanks in advance for your help

Shouldn't this be in Android Development section? Instead of Themes and Apps? Judging from the OP it sounds and looks like a ROM.
Right or Wrong

If you urgently need youtube you can flash Eoghan's speed kernel from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1707308
I can confirm that with that one youtube works so you can use it until Alquez and Eoghan find a permanent solution
Tiens, un autre Français
Yeah, either you wait for an update to the whole rom, either you use Eoghan's Kernel. I'd recommend waiting, but that's just me (I don't really watch youtube anyway...)

How did you install the google apps on cm7? I'm a long-time cm7.2 nightly user, and never had any problems with any of the google apps. The right way to install the google apps would be to flash the gapps zip right after installing your cm7. At least that's the way I did it, and never had any problems with it.
Thank you all for your answers
I think I will wait for an update, i think it would be better
To yeremina : Yeah, i have flashed the Gapps zip right after the installation of CM7 and I have installated Youtube through the Market. It's the right way, isn't it ?
Sorry for the double post but I have only one last question
To flash the kernel of Eoghan, I just have to make a backup with nandroid, wipe cache and dalvik cache and flash the .zip like any other ROM, isn't it ?

Okay, thank you so much for your answer
EDIT : I have succesfully flashed the kernel and Youtube works !
Thank you so much, brotha
Hi guys, I'm new to the android world here, and so far I'm loving every minute of it...so far I have learned how to root my s3 (yay me!!) and also installed a few ROM's here and there. I came across this Team-Venum Wicked Sensations v1.0 SGH-i747 which I really wanna check out but, I have a quick question. Do I have to install the "Kuban updater fix", and if yes, do I have to reboot when thats done or can I go ahead and install the ROM then reboot? If I have violated any rules I apologize... here is the thread I am talking about http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2039513&nocache=1 thanks again

Hi. i have been watching that thread also to try it out. Looks like there are a few little issues they may have worked out so Im just waiting to see. The updater I believe is how you can update the ROM and customize it. I dont think its "needed" but looks like it would be a great benefit. Again I did not flash this ROM yet but what I would do is first just flash the ROM and then reboot. Make sure it boots and everything works. If that's all good then I would flash the updater.
Ok thanks man

Go and Find the Android Revolution HD ROM for the HTC one X... There you will find a link to another thread with the STOCK WWE rom with sense 5. Download the odexed version and flash it... Before that wipe cache/factory reset and dalvik cache

No need to apologize man...
Just saying...
Save you and US some time, and do a quick search before asking such stuff...
Just ask yourself before asking anything: Could my problem have been asked by anyone else, or is it very specific to me and I should ask it.
Just to make sure... here it is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1546970
Porting is a pain in the buns.
So let me inform all of you on my toubles with the Samsung Galaxy s4 (T-mobile variant SGH-M919).
I had tried to install the latest CyanogenMod v10.1.3.1 ROM, (which was indeed successful, and infact, I love how
sexy and smooth the UI is), but I didn't install Gapps when installing the ROM, if that makes any difference.
So later, I realized how much I needed Google Play store, and I installed an off-store apk of ROM manager and
Installed Gapps. After flashing it, I set up everything on my Google account.
But here is where the bun-pain starts. Google play works great, but literally, no other Google apps will work
(IE: Google search, crashes every time).
If you have experienced the same issue and have sought out a way to fix this issue/ you know a possible way to fix
this, please don't hesitate to help, as that would be greatly appriciated!
You simply must flash GAPPs. Simple as that.
But...

But I did flash Gapps.zip with CWM (After installing CyanogenMod). Google play store works just fine, but google search crashes with the message "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped."... :/ Any ideas?

Use 10.1.3
I just flashed 10.1.3.1 without wiping from 10.1.3, and it's wank.

Update: Okay, Google search is working just fine Turns out, all I needed to do was just flash the latest gapps, then reinstall Google search :good:
Now I just have to worry about fixing the su binary, it doesn't want to execute. :silly:

Yes I did enable root rights in dev options. I'm just so lost... I've spent hours googling for answers,
And so far, nothing has helped
The only known thing I know to do, is to execute the /system/bin/su file.. I just have to figure out how. Honestly, I'm not sure. This whole thing is a long, LONG rabbit trail, just to get freaking root rights on cm10.
I may just end up flashing an AOSP ROM (one close to cm10) that actually HAS root.
Okay, I found a nice looking AOSP Rom- Eclipse ROM 5.1 ...
Question! -Does this ROM Development have any flash zips for T-Mobile S4? (Sgh-m919)

Always provide links to exactly what you're asking.
Also, make sure you flash the appropriate Gapps.
There's some for 4.2 and some for 4.3.
lol All releases of CM have root. You need to do a clean install of cm and flash gapps before first boot. You more than likely also flashed the wrong gapps. Consult the link below.
