This is the Mms.apk from Galaxy Gio Android 2.3.3 (S5660XXKPE).
It will work for all android 2.3 firmwares for Galaxy Gio
Changelog-Features
- No more sms to mms autoconversion after 4 sms.
- Possible to add to the message 1.000 contacts instead of 10 contacts.
- Default max sms per thread: 10.000 (default was 200)
- Default max mms per thread: 1.000 (default was 20)
How to install (For odexed roms only, not for deodexed.)
- Optional make a backup of your current sms (smsbackup+, or titanium or any app you want)
- Your phone needs to be rooted (You cn use SuperOneClick to root it)
- Download/buy root explorer.
- Place the Mms.apk in your sdcard.
- Open root explorer and navigate to your sdcard.
- Find my modded Mms.apk and select "copy" or "move".
- Go to /system/app/ and do "paste"
- Reboot your phone and you are okay
Note: Dont mirror this file (dont reupload it)

try the modified mms.apk for 2.3.5.. link is in the 1st post.. and set the permissions as rw-r--r--.. Let me know if that helps..

Using root explorer, go to system/apps, copy "Mms.apk" and email it to me, I'll make one for you..
We should have a thread with all the working Mms.apk for the Gio.
I tried a few and bone worked for me except one from CM7. But even that one had a problem with MMS :-( would not send or recieve.
Anyone got the one from CM7 working properly? Please share.

i had recreate APK (gamehub) and make it work able
TW are simply modicated
knowings bugs fixed etc blabla
as i see u have GoaTrip rom
so it has big differents, check them out , also u can go back to GT stock very easy
I flashed the CWM file and it made status bar FC - I have only ever seen that from flashing a new theme on CM7
Resolved Was due to using a theme.
My I please ask where to find gamehub.
Also when I unlock my phone the page number notification stays on even after setting is disabled. As soon as i scroll to the next page it will then go away.

Thanks mate I already ripped it out of the zip. This was not preinstalled after flashing the CWM file - I know it should have been but it didn't for some reason. I flashed it twice

Keeps force closing on Insanity 8.3 with Kanity 2 Kernel using TW4, ADW, Zeam
I clean installed and now it is loading at least but still not actually connecting. I think it was failing before as I was using the fr4gor TW4 earlier.

Yeah i think u can jsut use without buing music.. i get always network error if i want login to digital.. dont know i will try to fix it.

This my first proper thread so please let me know if launcher doesn't work. So without further ado Here it is:
INSTRUCTIONS (for zip)
1.root your phone ( you won't be able to flash zip without root ).
2.install CWM
3.download this file https://www.dropbox.com/s/7303d0nk5li7ju2/TW4 Launcher.zip
4.boot into recovery by first turning your phone off and pressing volume up+home+power keys
5.go to install zip from sdcard then, choose zip from sdcard and (assuming you have the zip in the root of your internal) then choose the zip you downloaded and go to yes.
6.then press go back till you see reboot system (or something like that) and press it.
7.enjoy and press thanks please.

2 go to your download folder in any file explorer and tap the file and tap install.

Download the APk and tap it ure file explorer . If it says it will replace an app than back out and contact me and ill see what I can do. Or u can backup you're launcher with astro.

I think it will.
Yeah TW4 manager works succesfully & I am able to apply lot of themes.
After using it for a day, I have found it to be more fluid than the stock TW launcher

adding more than 20 contacts to the message
no auto-converting messages to MMS after 4 SMS
Sent Time instead of Received Time
Required:
Custom-Recovery (CWM, TWRP, ...) / root
Preparation / Backup
deodex-ROM | rename /system/app/SecMms.apk > /system/app/SecMms.apk.bak (or delete -> not recommended!)
odex-ROM | rename /system/app/SecMms.apk > /system/app/SecMms.apk.bak + /system/app/SecMms.odex > /system/app/SecMms.odex.bak (or delete -> not recommended!)
Flash
After backup boot into recovery and flash your corresponding (firmware) zip-file. Don't reboot, but first wipe dalvik-cache.
Now do a Reboot.

The best thing, for me, should be a version with the full set of smiles/emoticons of gosms and chomp, and the possibility to program the sent time of the sms.

this one 'SecMms.apk + FB smiley.zip'?
then there is no need for - it's vrtheme.

XXELL5 SecMms.apk modded works perfectly on XXELKC deodex ROM i didn't flash the .zip, just extract de SecMms.apk and replace the on system/app

Hi, thanks for the sugestion, i've installed XXELL5 and it work, now does not convert no mms after 3 160 caracters sms it allows to continue, but on the other hand if insert 11 contacts, after hiting ok it converts to mms, strange.
but where it is my feedback.

I've see your mod, and in your thread there are many different things.
I've some trouble with english, and I haven't understand the differences between the mods you post.

To install it, download the apk from the attachments and push it with root explorer to system/apps.set permissons
reboot.

And then reboot your phone
