Just a heads up I was browsing the android dev forums and ran across a theme called steel blue by team carbon. I think they have different color variations but it's by far the best theme I've seen to date.
Just wanted to pass it on since I was so happy with it, it was free to download from the forums.
oh i like this blue theme, very nice. it gave me a warning about this theme missing assets for your devices screen size but i applied it anyway and it works great so far. plus it gave me back the circle battery im so used to. thanks!
found theme here in case anyone else wants to try it. just download, install like any other app and use theme chooser to apply then reboot.

So the fact that is says for Samsung GalaxyS wont affect its compatibility on the Dinc2?
id love to have it on my Dinc2!
I have applied it to mine and everything is working great. Are you rooted? If so just do a backup in case something goes wrong. I'm not even sure if this theme would work on non rooted phones since its for cm7

It works just fine on the dinc2 if you are on cm7. I downloaded the theme manager version not the cwm one

ohh yeah of course im rooted just making sure the theme compatibility doesn't matter like i figured it didn't.!
CM7 themes are basically classified as HDPI or MDPI depending on the screen and some are compatible with both. The incredible 2 is HDPI, so any theme says "for HDPI" will work.

Hi guys,
First post on the SGS2 forum after coming over from the Desire HD section. Got my SGS2 as an upgrade and am pretty impressed so far. Down to business...
I used to use this theme on my DHD
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1028813
Was wondering if any of the geniuses here could port it over so I can use it on my Galaxy S2?? It's an amazing theme and I'm sure would look great on the SGS2's samoled. Cheers in advance!
Good theme, it would be nice to see it on our SGS2
It would indeed, hoping someone can port it for us all. Have tried another of the Honeycomb styled themes in these forums but found them too overpowering on the blue colour for my liking.
Did you try to just install it? Seems like it has same naming for the graphics as SGS2 themes.
Try to make a back up first though.

I'll do a Nandroid and give it a try. Wouldn't think it'd work though due to it being based on HTC framework and SystemUI, can see this leading to a bootloop.
Yeah I suppose it will. You can port it yourself though, just download stock samsung theme, and this honeycomp and replace all images with same naming on framework-res and systemui. I suppose that would work.
That may be a better option. I'll give that a try later on and see what happens, cheers.
Ok, swapping the PNG's was a no-go - CWM kept telling me there was an error in the zip and refused to flash it :/
Anyone wanna have a go at porting it for me?
+1
was using this on my previous phone..

this theme is like the @samĀ“s rom? u can do your own theme based on honecomb doing it with UOT KITCHEN, if u need to deodex first make it with dsixdas kitchen,,, actually its easy to do no command lines, no scripts... only mouse clicks! lol..
if u need some honeycomb icons use....mmm photoshop or similar,,,
Hey guys. I just flashed to the latest UnNamed ROM and I was wondering if there were any themes out there that are compatible with it. I really hate the default android green color.

Venum,
I have your minimal theme for the unnamed, mostly black and white, and loving it.
Thanks, some fine work.

green to blue
All I really want is to change the green system color to blue (or purple or pink lol). I hate that android green color. Would be nice to have a transparent notification dropdown too.
I love the icons in the power button menu and in the settings and that is my problem. Most themes are like super themes that change everything. I really just want to change the green stuff like the download bar, highlights in the extended notification...and so on.
Maybe this can be a challenge for someone. LOL I will keep hoping.
Hey venum, if I change my avatar to a chick's face will you help me with compiling?? Haha

HaHaHa I don't think it will help =)

If anyone has an update on some cool themes for the UnNamed Rom for the Epic 4g Touch please let me know, I've tried a couple but I want to change it up a bit more with different themes, though I haven't really seen many themes, around two.
Love this rom....and I don't want to ditch it for for some other rom bc of the lack of themes

Apparently, most of the current themes out there work on UnNamed.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
You will loose most of the UnNamed custom edits if you flash any of the themes out there. None of them are made especially for UnNamed. Check the UnNamed Goodies thread in themes and apps for a few things you may like.
Like playya said... I have found that most of all the themes work. Sometimes causing modificaions of the rom itself... I WAS using Unnamed with a combination of the ICS theme made for Blazer and some add on made for another rom.. All worked fine. But i got tired of all the "blue" color, so i flashed back to regular unnamed with rogue " gunslinger "... Nice colors.. Great batt life and 5000+ quadrent score @1400-200 LAZY...

alright thank you for the replies!!
Eh, still kinda confused. I went to the themes section in the E4GT section. I see themes, but a lot of them say they work only on some specific roms. Should I still try them and see if they work? I'm worried about messing up my phone. :/
Okay, so I just themed my phone. Once it restarted, it said I had an update...so I restarted it like it told me to do. But the little android guy with the triangle and ! mark in the triangle came up....
what gives?
please help if no one is too busy :/

You are on a custom ROM, and Sprint was unable to update your phone because of that. Not that you want to update the stock ROM considering you installed a custom ROM in the 1st place...

Honestly every theme out there will work as long as it's not for a source the too different from yours (eg. EK02 rom using and EL29 theme). The worst that can happen with some themes, especially with UnNamed's rom, is that you'll lose certain functionalities. For instance, using suwu10's red or blue themes will cause you to lose the scrolling toggles in the drop down notification bar.
Other than that everything will be pretty much the same. Keep in mind that it will replace your rom's apk's with the themed apk's from whatever rom that theme was built for. So if you like say, the mms app from UnNamed, you'll want to delete it out of the theme's .zip before flashing.
Is there any way someone can get this working with our A2? I tried flashing it, but it says the version number or build number does not match. I have no idea of what I would need to go about changing or whatever. Thanks in advance!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1475633
Doubt it... its got more than our build such as lockscreen tweaks and so forth besides it doesn't look all that great there are much better ones...

Good suggestion man...Weird as hell though as I've been messaging a little with DaxINFINITI today to find out what it would take to get this specific theme for CM9 as well as two others for CM9 as well. The other two themes are "OrangeMod" <LINK> and LunarUI <LINK>. He's seems open to the idea so let's see how this goes..

Yes! Those are both great looking. It'll be nice to have some themeage that strays from blue and grey a little! haha
All of these themes look good but my personal favorite is [THEME][CM9] Black Infinitum - v3.0
Its a really nice Minimal Black theme and should work flawlessly on our CM9.. although i havent tested it the Samsung Galaxy i9000 is pretty much the same if not exactly...
Screenshots gallery:
http://db.tt/yYqv3sHZ
Edit: doesnt work
The only thing I want from the Xperia theme is the settings and music app, which would actually be very easy to do but I'm not sure if I'm ready to use cm9 yet.

+1 for this theme! Looks great! Can it be ported to the epic? If so, I would love to have it. I'll test for anyone who wants to try. Does anyone know if they'll be incorporating the theme chooser engine into cm9? The main thing keeping my girl from switching from 7 to 9 is that there are no pink themes for it yet. She uses the Punk Pink theme chooser theme on cm7 and adores it.

why not just make a nand and try cm9 out for a few hours? if you dont like it, it takes 5 minutes to restore your backup. thats what i did for alpha 0. it was too unstable for me to stay longer than 6 hours, so i went back to 7, same for alpha1. i've been on alpha2 since about 5 minutes after they put it up and, honestly, i dont think i'll be switching back. i do miss the functionality of cm7 and all the awesome settings to play around with, but cm9, even with half (if not more) the settings unavailable, is incredible. once all of the settings are available, and theres some more options available for the launcher, i've no doubt this will be the best rom the epic has ever seen. and i have a ton of faith in our cyanogen team. theyre amazing and very hard working. they pump these bad boys out like theyre getting paid for piece work!

I tried it with alpha0 and I didn't like it. It was great and all, but I'm use to the stability and full functionality of CM7. CM9 will be amazing, but I'd still rather wait for my apps to be compatible, more settings to be implemented, and overall just ironed out a bit more. It's close but some things are a deal breaker for me.

Really. I havent tried it out yet but I can wait to get rid of the blue and all and not have to flash something.
Want Blood Red theme now
Cyanogen still Pwnz
This is good news. What is your question?
Okay really my questions. Well since this is the Q&A question. My question will be then what themes will be made for cm9. I am reading on some stuff i can port right now.
Team Carbon are working on porting all of their themes right now
Heck ya. I cant wait for a full black theme. I have tried all the aokp ones on my sprint GN and it borks mms like a mo. Cant wait.
Fingers crossed this gets integrated in AOKP.

Those 2 themes above are a few of the BEST themes I've seen yet for the GS4. Even though they aren't for the T-Mobile TW variant, I was wondering if one of the Devs or anyone with more experience is up to the challenge of porting these over to our devices?
I think they are almost perfectly themed in my opinion cause everything that is supposed to be Totally BlackedOut is just that BlackedOut w/ minimal blue highlights if any, etc... what's supposed to be white is white and what's black is black.. it just looks sharp to me!
Thanks in advance for any Help, Suggestion and/or work done to make this happen!!!
BTW: I've already talked to Rixsta (The Dev that created those 2 themes) and he stated that he's just way to busy at the moment to port the themes over but, mentioned I should create a post asking one of the Dev here if they mind doing it! So here you go... PLEASE???!

I would LOVE this as well. Im using everything I can from team blackout already but the theme would complete it. For the hell of it I made a backup and tried flashing over my rom (wicked) and my phone got sent into a bootloop haha. figured.
Id be more than willing to donate to whoever gets this ported over as well.
