I'm looking for an all in one solar powered case for my atrix. I have seen the dongle like ones, but this is not what I am searching for.

Spare battery charger?

My favorite accessory for my samsung fascinate was the spare battery with its own dedicated charger. It could charge in the house or in the car due to its micro usb input for power. I often left this in my vehicle and just swapped batteries out there.
Ive scoured the internet and have failed to find one for the thunderbolt as they all seem to require an AC charger. Have any of you found one got the thunderbolt? Now I have 7 oem thunderbolt batteries and need a way to charge them. Especially since I'm headed to Bonnaroo....

going to bonnaroo with 7 batteries. haha thats great man but nah I have not seen anything like that. I snagged one of those el cheapo china wall battery charger with built in USB port (for charging another device) and that works great. But seriously if you have 7 batteries i dont see the need for a charger you speak of, sounds cool though.
ahahahaha that's so many damn batteries
I bought one on eBay that has the electrical plugs that fold into it and also has a plug for a USB cable.
I haven't tried the cable part though.

USB Wall Charger

Hey guys,
I was wondering if you guys knew of a good replacement for the samsung wall charger. I lost mine and I want to get a replacement wall charger that pumps out at 1A or whatever the original one was. Thanks for the help guys!
I'd stick with the Samsung original, it charges so fast! In less than two hours back to full battery, I've substituted using other chargers that comes with other phones at work and it's definitely slower

Here's the extra one I ordered, works just as good as the one that came with my phone, they seem to be identical

I like to use motorola's chargers, you can find them on amazon: "Motorola micro USB charger". They're more or less identical to the samsung ones besides the more rectangular form factor. I also recommend the motorola car charger if you're in the market for that. Both are quick charge and fill a dead battery in 1-2 hours.

Powermat case, Verizon back cover

I've been looking at these two products for my sprint galaxy s3 and I have some specific questions. I did lots of searching and I hope what I know so far is right if not please correct me. Both of these are the qi standard. I also believe the Powermat I already own is qi standard.
The verizon back cover will work for charging but the nfc will not work with it.
The Powermat is a case that fits completely over the phone. Does mhl and nfc still work with this case?
What mah do these charge at?
Anyone who owns these would you please test this out for me. I am trying to decide what to buy.

I have used this case and the NFC does not work with the case. The MHL adapter will not work with the case. The case charges at 1amp I think.
Hope thus helps.

powermat and qi products are not currently interoperable with each other especially the older ones. if you have a powermat charger, you need to get a powermat receiver (they sell the backing on amazon and from their official store).

Thanks for the info. I called Powermat and the Rep (who sounded clueless) said nfc and mhl will not work with the case. He also said Powermat is not qi compatible. However, I read a review on Amazon that said nfc tags work with it. So i went on ahead and ordered it. Since i really liked this on my evo. I just wish i could of got it in blue. I will be testing the nfc, mhl, and otg when I get it Thursday. If anyone else has questions about anything else let me know and I will test it and or give pics.

What are you wanting to do, wireless charge via qi. I use energizer 3 position charger $24.00 ebay with Verizon back. The Verizon back is both nfc and wireless charger. Only Verizon phones have extra contacts for nfc to work through the door. The batteries must be nfc compatible also. There are posts of people moding a cheap door $5.00 with a palm charger less $15.00 and using it to wireless charge. But the qi is supposed to be getting an update that will charge at a larger distance thus thicker cases should be able to be charged through. I love the qi. Good luck
Powermat not compatible

even the qi receivers you get off ebay that fit underneath the battery door work w/ NFC. It's up to you though. Check the 2nd post in the qi wireless charging thread stickied in this forum. I have a video showing the qi receiver I have and also that it works w/ NFC
I think you are making a better choice for wireless charging but I already own a Powermat so I would like to keep using it. It might not be the best but It always works and works well. I already sucked it up and ordered my Powermat case i will get it tomorrow and tell you guys how it goes.

if it charges, it charges. I guess that's all there is to say to it.
The powermat case you get should work just fine w/ the transmitter that you have. You're a-ok imo
Well here is my review. I have been using the powermat case for awhile now and over all im disappointed. Otg and mhl does not work. It doesnt even want to connect to the computer through a USB cable. When I did get it to connect it didnt want to transfer anything. As far as nfc it sometimes works. The case is pushing up my screen protector on the bottom of my phone and I have a zagg screen protector which is a really nice one. It cost me fifty dollars when I got my phone. I case is hard to put on and off which wouldnt be such a big dill except I end up taking it off all the time to connect things to my phone.
About the only good things about it is... it is a hole case so thats nice if you drop it but the case its self is not very durable. I already have many scratches all over it. it does charge my phone well and seems to charge just as fast as my usb charger that came with my phone.
I think there's some other things im forgetting but I think you get my point. I will keep this since I already have it and my mat from my evo but I dont think I will be buying any more powermat products.
Ps I dont really mind the white case on my blue phone but some might. They dont make any other color yet.

Wireless charger with case

Hello,
I am interested in buying a CHOETECH UPGRADED (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C40OG22/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AS3H8BMRCXYCT) wireless charger for my nexus 5. I have a nillkin frosted shield case on my phone. I am curious if it would charge with that case on. And I'd like to know your opinion on that charger.
Thanks!
Qi chargers can charge from about 6mm (~1/4in) distance away from contact with the receiver in the phone. Unless your phone case is insanely thick, or made of metal, it will charge just fine through it.
I use that charger all the time. I've used 4 different cases on my phone and all worked the same.

[Q] nexus wireless charger

Hello,
i already own the Nexus Charging Orb and i really like it, and i would like to get the newer nexus wireless charger as well (the flat one).
The problem is, i have no idea where to get one. It doesn't seem to be available anywhere. Is Google creating a new one or why the shortage?
If anyone has a link to buy a new one (preferably in Europe), please let me know.
I have a flat qi charger off amazon. It was $15 and I love it.
how about you created one? i've been googling and we just have to buy the pcb and design our own
I know that there are many cheap qi chargers, but i wanted the nexus one. Is it completely out of stock everywhere?
