I think its in strings.xml inside framework-res.apk/res/values. You will need to decompile and recompile the apk to make the change. Mystery has a thread on how to do it on here also. Id post a link but I'm posting on my phone.

This.
Unfortunately, it's not quite that simple. Already themed framework-res.apks rarely recompile properly, if ever.
Just a heads up.
I used the app in this thread and it seems to work.

Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before but I have searched and searched but couldn't find the answer.
In the picture below, messaging app, when you select to delete threads where are the buttons that the arrows are pointing to located and what is the names of the files? I'm pretty sure they aren't located in the mms.apk as I have looked and double looked and can't see them, perhaps I can't see them for looking.

btn_default_*****.9.png
Found in framework-res.apk
edit: someone was quicker
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I thought it might be in framework-res but none of my btn_default_***.9.png's look anything like those 2. When they are pressed they are basic blue. All the btn_default_pressed.9.png's have a glass effect and again look nothing like the buttons when they are pressed.
Edit:
I changed all the btn_default_****.9.png's and it didn't change the buttons in the delete threads. It did change the buttons for everything else related. So it's puzzling me even more now??
If its a samsung app then it might be tw_button_****.9.png

Just flashable. I can't really MetaMorph stuff. I want to learn so all my themes can be universal. Is there any tutorials on how to make a MetaMorph?
Will this work if we've applied any of the soft-button mods (add search button)?
Thx.
Thanks man, literally exactly what I wanted to be able to do when I first saw that feature in ICS.
Oh, that is too cool.

Does anyone know how to enable this? Is it an app or is it included in cm9/aokp? Sorry if the answer is obvious I haven't been on the forum as much as I'd like and of course I can't find what I'm looking for via a search.

use aokp or the reloaded app in the general android development.
You can slide across the status bar to change brightness even on stock, but it only works if you turn off auto brightness.

In cm9 go to settings>system>status bar> then check " brigness control"
I've tried everything I could I've searched all over... And can't seem to find a way to change the carrier name on the notification/status bar?

Yeah freeza and Clark have shared some very nice stuff with us. Been a huge help to me.

On previous phones including the S5 you could just change the build.prop or use gravity box to add on screen Nav keys... but every time I try with the N4, when I reboot I'll get system UI crashing non stop until I undo my changes.
Has anyone gotten them somehow?
I'm just a big soft keys fan
