Hello all,
I installed the excellent barebones v1.5 Rom yesterday and was very happy with it.
all that was missing was the google apps, so i installed them via a zip file.
my issue is that it upgraded the market app to 2.3.6 and it will not open. does anybody know what apk i can install to make the market app work again?

Found the Jelly Bean Play Music App (v4.3.605) over at the Apps Forums and it runs on our Ace as well (Android 2.2+)!

I just downloaded the Jelly Bean Play Music from this thread by steve0007 and tried installing in my samsung froyo. It didn't get installed !!
I got the error: 'App not installed'
I just decompiled the app and saw that the minimum sdk version was sdk version 8 which is FroYo. But the target sdk version was 14 which is ICS.
So, i just changed the target sdk version from 14 to 8. Compiled it and signed it. Then tried it. And it worked !!!!
So, there's nothing very big in it. I just want to share it for others !! That's why i created this thread and you're reading this !!!
