I am loving the Shift Rewind Rom for my Incredible. I was wondering if anyone knows of a different font that can be used with the Rom? The included one is hard to read at times. Thanks in advance.
On the evo thread, there are over 300 fonts. Make sure you get them that are compatible with cwm3. Desire hd font is very much like stock. There are several there for you.

Download custom font changer from the market, there should be something in there you'll like.

Anyone know of if its possible to change the font used by the phone completely? Like a different style? I haven't been able to find any information on it.
Absolutely.

if u decide to use MiUI there are tons and tons of options out there available thru the .mtz format.
u have options, just have to use ur resources ya know.

Hey guys, tried the flashable zip posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1309557 and saw that it didn't work with my G2. Changed the zip around so that it actually gives the new clock font as well as the roboto font, enjoy.
Screenshots please.

Sweet!! Thank you!
I dunno... different strokes I guess... not for me... seems pretty plain/standard... I much prefer the Sony Sketch font...
As alternative installation, ROM Toolbox app has Roboto font that at least looks like Roboto, not sure if it actually is. Quick comparison looks like same.
It just works. Thanks
The file on other thread did not work for me
Yeah, the file in the other thread had an older update-binary and updater-script that doesn't work on the newer eMMC devices. I figured that out when I went to investigate why the package wouldn't install. I modified the update-script, update-binary and the font files, since it didn't include the new clock font even though he says he did.
Worked. Thank you

Does this do every font in the system tried using font installer but it start at boot
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Not sure what you mean. This zip is meant to be flashed from recovery, not to be used with a font installer.

I meant I tried using font installer to install roboto on all fonts and it sent me in a boot loop does this cover all necsessary fonts??

Yes it does, at least for English/Latin alphabet based languages.

I used an inverted sms w/ auto split. Unfortunately I can't remember who developed it, but it worked perfectly on ICS. Flash away, if worse comes to worst just reflash the ROM.

If you have a kernel that supports custom boot animations, then go download romtoolbox and go to the custom boot animations, find one you want, and install it. It works perfect for me.

Is it as easy as just clicking install on the bootanimation? I have juggernaut v5 with the stock kernel, im guessing that was why it didnt work? how do you revert back to stock?

You have to have a compatible kernel which I believe juggs doesn't have (just flash a different one) and click download then install. I'm not sure how to take it back to stock

Not Bad
It took a little googling and a bit of trial and error to find a ROM Toolbox that worked but ROM Toolbox.apk is a great program works for the boot animations as well as several other tweaks. I couldn't however, find a program called romtoolbox.
Can you use toolbox for custom ones, I download a zip and put it into the file location that toolbox uses and also in my download folder but does not show up ugh.
Also Im running ICS there is no file in system/media called boot anything but yes I was able to change the annim. using one of the stock files that tool box offers. So im lost I files are somewhere, but not at that location.
do they have sound? i like a bootanimation with sound

I have been all over the forums, and installed many different versions with no luck for a working version. I'm looking for a modded version of touchwiz (the one included with GB27) that is 4 x 5 apps on the screen, instead of the standard 4 x 4. Does anyone know of a working one?
Thanks so much,
Chris
