Yes, it is called a shatter-proof sheet on scratch-resistant mineral glass.
Thanks for helps. I will try it. But, what can i use for lift?
Not sure if it would help, but you could try a guitar pick to help you get going.
After this, i will use a screen protector on my phone, necessarily. Thanks for your all help, i tried to lift protector today with an pin from the edge. I done it successfully, i removed a little bit of the protector from the edge. Now, i will get a new screen protector. After, i will remove the factory protector completely. Remove a little bit from the corner of the protector is enough at this time for me, i now i can lift it when i want at least.
I have a new question, i'm looking for screen protectors for Xperia Arc? Which one is your recommend for screen protector?

Hi everyone. So I got this screen protector from MediaDevil (used to be called PhoneDevil) some months ago. It was pretty nice, crystal clear as advertised etc. But now all it does is collect finger prints like a magnet! I have tried to remove the damn thing from the screen for the past half an hour but no matter what I do, I can't seem to remove it!!!
Any of you have any experience with this type of screen protector? Any tricks that would help remove it?
Are you sure the finger print isn't on the other side of the screen protector, between the protector and the glass?

It's extremely thin. I can't even see where the protector ends. You can't really see it. I've even emailed them to see what they say. High quality makes something annoying for once...
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Try duct tape on the edges of the screen... it should work.
Otherwise with your fingernails or a plastic pen cap try find-peel the edges...
Maybe you're even not using a protector. =P
Hair dryer warm the edge slightly .

Use a heat gun or a hair dryer, makes the foil loose and a lot easier to remove.

Thought about that but worried that I will damage the phone. I got an email response to my query from them.
Hi ****,
I hope you are well. Thanks for getting in touch.
To remove the protector from the screen, we recommend using strong adhesive tape to pull up on the protector. This should remove it from the screen without needing to use your fingernails and risk damaging the screen underneath.
Do let me know how you get on
Best Regards,
Lindsay

Well, first time I set it, I had a big hair bubble at the bottom right of the phone. There is another thread about this screen protector, I'm not sure exactly where tho. So I followed what one of the guys said there, u can carefully remove it, wipe the screen clean, wipe the glass screen protector with soapy water, and from there replace the screen protector. If its not perfectly aligned, u will get a hair bubble. I did it a few time before succeeding, but I'm definiltly happy with it now.
There seems to be no limit to how many times u can reapply it.
Hope I helped

Thanks. When I have time I'll try and comment the result.
I just bought the Nillkin Tempered Glass Screen Protector, and I've had a bad history with applying screenguards in the past (Totally messed up a Galaxy S+ screenguard) so I'd love to have a step-by-step screen guard application tutorial please?

Here's what I did to install tempered glass... Everyone says it's much easier than a plastic screen protector but I found it much more difficult lol. It's hard to remove with out damaging the film underneath and once you chip the film it won't lay flat. So I ended up ordering another one.
Clean screen, alcohol wipes if needed.
Take off shirt (to prevent dust), go into bathroom and turn on shower as hot as possible, door shut, no fan, Windows shut. Once you get it as steamy as a sauna you can turn off water.
Clean screen again with microfiber cloth make sure there's no dust on it.
Remove plastic cover to reveal adhesive side of protector. Line up protector on top edge of screen first, once you have it perfectly aligned, hold the top of it with your thumb. Then guide the bottom into place. It should stick to the top of your screen first and work it's way down.
Then exit steamy bathroom, use microfiber cloth to push out any bubbles around edges.
You'll see some moisture trapped under the protector from the steam, don't worry it will go away after a day or so.
So that's how I did, the extra cautious way to ensure I didn't mess up again and have to order another one. Good luck!
Wont the steam enter the handset via speakerholes, charging slot.... I won't try this... The mist might spoil the phone... But i applied nillkin the way mentioned in the guide coming with the package., the only thing i did different was to align it from the right side vertically... And worked in the first go
Well, I didn't want to mess up and waste 9$ so I just went to a nearby mobile store and got the service guy to put it on for me
Thanks for the insight though, guys.
Much appreciated.

I was concerned about that but I found the steam doesn't move downward onto your phone if its laying flat on a counter. Hot air rises. You could put tape over the speakers if your worried about that.

Nope. Probably just the plastic that comes with the phone that protects it during shipping. You can go ahead and peel it. In my opinion you don't need to worry about a screen protector.
Yes There is a screen protector! Actually I still use it.
I just got my Mate 20X and love it (thanks FunkyHuawei!). I am waiting on accessories to arrive from China. While I wait, I am using the Huawei installed screen protector. It is funny, the first few days I used this with the plastic film on the front while waiting for the screen protectors to arrive but last night when I removed that film to install the temp glass protector I got I noticed it seems to have a protector already installed. FunkyHuawei said Huawei installed that.
Does anyone know, is this Huawei installed protector any good? Should I just use it until it shows wear and then replace it or maybe replace it now? It looks good, seems to cover well and no other issues I can discern.

Huawei put covers on there phones i find them pretty good I'll buy new when this gets used
Just changed the OEM one off my M10P before I gave it to my nephew. The original lasted about 6 months for me.
Are the ones they use temp glass or film, hard to tell without picking at it?
Do they still have zero oleophobic coating underneath the factory screen protector like on the P10 and some of their other phones or did they stop doing that?

Film on oem. To me the tempered glass one's feel better once you change but I had to turn on gloves mode after that.
I noticed it to and was wondering how it got on there. Thought the dealer might have put it on.
Lol it seems this phone has two screen protectors on first one can be pulled off but there is a second that is very hard to see but its there. I was quite surprised as you can hardly notice its there unless you pick at it from the corner.
I don't use screen protectors on my phones. Any harm or benefit if I remove the factory installed one from Huawei? Screen angles better? Responsiveness better?
I never took the Screen cover off mine when I got it, I peeled the white remove tab off the screen cover, and it will stay that way until the plastic wears out or peels off.
Only took mine off for tempered glass. Otherwise they're very good
I received my phone and am puzzled by the screen protector. I detect a rising at the corners, so I thought it had a protector or film, but when I tried to take it off, it didn't want to come, so I thought it might be part of the screen.
Then I noticed that there was some distortion on the screen. While playing with it, I ran a fingernail over it, and created another mark in the screen. I was freaked out, but apparently it's a really well put on screen protector? I'm happy to leave it on, but does anybody know how to buff any slight creases out of it?

That's a film screen protector. I remove it from the very first second and i install the Tempered Glass One.
VERY FUNNY. I put a glass screen protector on top of the factory film protector, which I did not notice until many days after. I only knew that is a removable film until I read this thread. The double screen protectors apparently worked fine for me, and now I feel super strong.
