this pos seller "northmont30096" take note he is a xda member. I have multiple accounts on Ebay... he sold me 2 batteries on my new account. The 1st one works ok sorta but the 2nd is a piece of junk that dies within an hour!
I send him two messages/emails on ebay to which he never replied and left a horrible reply to my feedback lol...
My feedback was "one battery does not work, seller never replied to both messages."
he's answer was "New Ebayer first transaction..very frustrating...".

Thanks for the heads up, I was thinking of buying batteries from him too.
Well they are generic batteries. Its not like he says they are samsung oem. This is how generic batteries perform. He isnt misrepresenting what hes selling.
If you dont want a cheap knockoff battery dont buy one. Dont get mad at the guy that sold it to you, he didnt put a gun to your head.

generic also doesn't mean it will not work... he didn't even reply to my emails? not a service at all with no excuses, could have offered replacment.
You can use the Resolution Center(under customer service) and report his bad practice. Ebay will do whatever it takes to get you a replacement or refund

So I really wanted to get a gnex like REALLY BAD. So I picked up a used iPhone 4 on my local cl for 250 which happened to have a unlock able baseband, which I unlocked, then buying a few cases for it sold it on eBay for 415. Then in turn found this bad boy on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/23073326862...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_1958wt_982
The only thing is that it has a Knick on the bottom corner...and the desc. Says a few light scratches but I don't mind.
So.... I BOUGHT IT!
What do you guys think...

Sorry, been wanting it reall bad so I'm kinda excited, was not wondering if I should get it, I was wondering if y'all consider it a bargin
Good luck and let us know how it comes out.
I guess I am a little reluctant seeing as they say the phone works, but yet they do not have a picture of it actually on in that listing.
weird.
I am going to go out on a limb here and make a wager. $10 Internet Dollars the phone is either reported lost or stolen when he tries to activate it.
I bought my Galaxy Nexus from eBay for $600 about 2 weeks ago. It has a minor scratch mark at the bottom of the phone. Other than that, It's in a great condition. Your seller has a good rating, so there's a good chance that the phone you bought is legit. If your scratches are minor to you, then $533 is a good deal. When I was looking for a GN, the biddings usually end at around $625 - $650.

Just wondering if anyone has done business with them and how it went? Their prices are ridiculously low and i'm tempted to make a purchase from them but would like to hear some feedback before doing so.
Looks like they're a division of Alibaba.com. They basically make cheap chinese knockoffs and sell them dirt cheap. Been doing it for years, and they're a HUGE company.
Hmm, well for $7.35 shipped, I may just try that holder then

I've ordered several iPhone related accessories through aliexpress. Just recently ordered a Rock case for my S3. Most of my iPhone related orders took about a month to get to me. The Rock case took a week and a half.

Good to know....now I see how these cell phone accessory places can get away with selling stuff so damn cheap.....ordering from places like this ensures at least 200% profit!

Aliexpress is the smaller e-commerce arm of AliBaba. Alibaba is the biggest B2B companies in China.
It is like the ebay for big boys. They sell 1 piece to 10000000 pieces. However, there is a lot of fake stuff there.

Def not ordering anything I'd be concerned with getting a counterfeit of. I'm just looking at a vent holder, nothing special.
I have used Aliexpress and DHgate.com to sell things here in Dominican Republic. The shipping takes almost one month to get here so don't buy things that you need asap.
Keep yourself away from buying Memory Cards or Hard Drives, almost always are fake or have less capacity than listed.
IMHO dhgate > aliexpress.

if the price is ridiculously low, you should pay attention with it. Check seller's feedback info. By the way ,you can't Pay with Paypal on Aliexpress. If you wish to buy with Paypal, try www .beltal. com/compares, it claim "Shop All Dhgate/Aliexpress Items 2-15% off with Paypal & Beltal Escrow service. "
what about batteries from Aliexpress

"Free-shipping-Wholesale-New-2500mah-Extended-Battery-For-Samsung-Galaxy-S3-SIII-i9300" ( sorry i can't yet insert links in my posts )
I am tempted to order that ( hope i won't fry my phone)... Anyone has an opinion on them or an advice?

I'd have to agree with that. But most of if not all of those same accessories ship from Hong Kong too...everything ordered from the site I posted might cost a few bucks more, but they're shipped from the USA and arrive much faster. To some, that's worth the few extra bucks spent.

I am always willing to pay a little extra to get it from the states. I order stuff because I want it now, not in 3 weeks. I have my eBay app set up to show only US sellers for that reason alone. I know it's all the same stuff. I contacted Amazon about putting that feature into their app twice, with no response

All those recognized name brands had to start off as unknowns at one point aswell. People these days cant seam to grasp that concept tho. Lots of times thats where NEW ideas come from. The NEW guys.

All of his feedback as a seller are for nothing more than like $50. 15 feedback, of unrelated items to technology. Where does one magically get 80+ of these. And can sell them for half of what they sell for AND make a profit...
Look at some of their previous purchases.
Too fishy for me to order the Calimare this time around.
Location is Hong Kong. Almost guarantee that it's a fake.
anything coming from Hong Kong should always be approached with caution. Now Ebay does have rules again st selling counterfeit items, to the point that if caught the entire account will be disabled. Kinda Worth the risk at the price, just make sure you are not spending your rent money on it.
Alot like gambling IMO, you could get the legit thing at a great price, but also keep in mind its cheap enough to just order straight from Google, if you want to be 100% sure.
So people,
Looks like our doubts have been confirmed. The listing has now been removed from eBay.
You were just too good to be true.

Hi All! I came across a supplier that has nexus 5 extended batteries 3830 MAH that are plug and play.
These will replace your original battery and wont add any bulk to your phone.
They will be $35 shipped in the U.S.
Please make a list of everyone that is interested.
Well, other than not knowing the actual quality/longevity of the battery, or if it really gives 3830mAh, $35 is steep. Considering you can get it for $15.99 + shipping from aliexpress, you can pick up 2 for that price.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Brand-KBTEL-battery-BLT9-BATTERY-BLUE-3830MAH-HIGH-REPLACEMENT-BATTERY-FOR-LG-nexus-5-D821-D820/1769272899.html
That is gonna be a pile of crap another dodgy chinese battery just like those gold ones that you can get for htc sensation.
Dont touch it!
Guys, LG is one of the few companies which actually makes their own batteries (through the LG Chem subsidiary). This means they can put very good batteries in their phones with little additional cost. Do you really think some cheap chinese batteries probably made somewhere on a ship can have a better capacity/volume ratio than the ones provided by LG?
my guess is the OP is someone who is selling/supplying the batteries and the first post they ever put is this waste of time, go and advertise somewhere else.
Adding that much juice, in a battery that's the same size? Pretty sure that's impossible. Nice try, though.
i guess ill have to try it out and post results.
