additional lockscreens in cm7? - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

is there a way to add additional lockscreens to cm7, such as the puzzle, etc?

This is a question, therefore... post it in the question forum.
To answer it, go to Cyanogenmod Settings >> lockscreen >> style options
and there's always widget locker or something comparable from the Market.

i dunno where that section is. i figured there would be a lot of new cm7 users who might have the same question.
i know about the three built in ones... i'm talking about additional ones not included in the rom.

Thread moved to proper forum. I have requested a Q&A sub-forum to administration. Hopefuly we will have one. For now, this has been moved to general.

Yes, you have Widget-Locker.

[Q] Alternative answer calls

Hi!
I've been searching all over the internet for a solution, but I can't seem to find one.
I'm trying to change the way you answer calls (especially when in standby)
I've changed the lockscreen by renaming HTCLockscreen.
But the way you answer calls is still by swiping up/down..
Is it possible to change it to left/right at all?
Thank you!

Post What Where:
General - general technical discussion items, news, anything else that does not fit into the other fora categories.
Q&A (Questions and Answers) - all questions, irrespective of type, get posted in here whether they be theme related, accessory related, technical, etc.
Accessories - any items to do with components and/or accessories relating to your device.
Rom Development - only meant for very advanced technical discussion directly related to ROM development activity and the delivery of actual ROMs and ROM components ONLY. Nothing else goes in here.
Themes & Apps - anything to do directly with the development of themes and/or applications. Nothing else goes in here.
Woops, my bad!
I wonder the same. Is there something like lockbot for calls

[Q] WHY are Devs putting their themes in this section?

I thought this section of the forum is for ROMS not themes? We have a theme section which is for that, or am I missing the point? It's becoming annoying scrollling through pages just to get to the ROM threads.

Point me to the threads in question and I'll move them if need be.
On another note.. Moved to General as this clearly isn't a development issue!

[Q] htcsense.com on new htcsense roms

Hi 2 all!
I flashed a rom with the new htcsense. I registered to htcsense.com, but I can only see the dashboard with the Phonefinder (map) and basic settings (lock phone and call frowarding).
Shouldn't there be more feature in htc sense.com like contacts, calls, messages...?
I don't see them?!
PS: I registered my desire as desire hd ...

Suggestion: Add a "whats special about this ROM" section

Hi Fellow XDA followers.
I just wanted to share a thought that I had and wanted everyone's input. Recently with all the new Sense 3.0 ROMs being developed and pushed out on the web, I suspect that things are starting to get a little confusing.
Believe me, I have had my fair share of experiences in trying all the newest roms due to my phone not being able to load the Synergy and Synergy-Kingdom roms, that most of them are starting to look SOO similar that I am getting confused on which ones do what.
Therefore, what do you all think about requesting the ROM developers or thread starters to include a section something like "What different", "What special" about "this" rom. This section should be easy to read, not technical, and tell the potential user/downloader what to expect in this rom. For Example, some notes could include:
Includes God Mode
New screen transitions
Transparent Settings Screens
etc.
What do you guys think?
Bump... Moved to General Section.

[Q] Separate Themes and Apps forum?

Am I the only one who finds it a bit annoying to scroll through page after page looking for apps when 70% of the threads are about themes?
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the work that you guys do here at xda! Although it would be easier to find the good stuff if themes and apps were separated imo
Sorry if the thread is misplaced.
Exactly! I'd like to have all app infos in one place.
I don't understand why people using themes but that's another case.
I'd like to see a forum for all themes and apps requiring root and another for all un-rooted stuff.
What's the point. No one reads or obeys any of the rules anyway. People just post what they want, where they want.
An example is this thread. It should have been posted in the Q&A section

Multiple sections with no one to police them .
Apps are likely to be posted in Q&A Themes in dev anything in anywhere .
If users are to lazy to search then why should they be spoonfed .

but naturally u would ask a question about themes and apps thread in the thread? cause i personally wouldnt of thought to look in q/a for something like this. atleast this way people who may of thought it will see it while looking round on the thread? i think apps and themes having their own separate thread would be good. why do i want to see apps when im looking for themes? or why do i wona see themes when im looking for apps? i think its a great idea. thumbs up

Totally agree with your points. I think it would be easier to find topics that way!

What posters should do is put either APP or THEME heading at the beginning of each post .

When I created the thread I saw that someone had created a similar thread in a different forum. It was placed under "Themes and Apps" and it hadn't been moved so I thought that it was a good place.
And in the bottom of my post I apoligize for eventual misplacement
On the first page where you see all the forums, themes and apps are separated for Android. Why wouldn't all the subforums have the same design?
And yes people should have [THEME] and [APP] in the topic, and many of the posters actually do this. But how is that helpful in this matter? The problem for me isn't that I click on threads and find the wrong stuff, it's that I have to scroll through lots of stuff that I'm not interested in at the time.
Regarding search, do you mean that I should search for everything? How would I find new stuff? I can't guess what people name their apps
I'd like these subforums separated too. I look for both, but never at the same time. The apps seem to get buried under all the themes.
I don't think the thread is in the wrong section, it doesn't really have to do with the phone itself, but the forum, and this section of the forum.
Now ontopic, I also find it a bit fragmented to see the themes when I want the apps, but then the same thing happens with other subforums too. Personally I would like a separate subforum for apps and one for themes, but it might increase the unwanted clutter.
