at least its finally posted so we know for sure its real close!
Can you enlight me about this cases. What is so great about innocases?
Features, quality?
Looks good (judging based off of the Innocase for the Nexus One).
How might this case be better than say a TPU/Epik style case? Just curious.
These are the only cases I know of that you can also use with a holster.when I had it for my nexus there was also a option to upgrade to "rugged"which was perfect for me because I was doing construction.

Pics or fail
I hope it's a slider style case and not a snap on. If it's like this one, I'll probably get it.

I second that! I usually use a holster with my phone and this case looks sweet. Otterbox won't be coming out with a defender case for our phone so I think this is perfect! I'm gonna us this for the daily and the TPU case when I need to go light
Nice. This is the kind of case I was looking for. It reminds me a bit of the Agent 18 cases for the iPhone (but slightly higher quality, it looks like).
Has anyone used these cases before on other phones? It looks like it has some rubberized material on the outside? Does it attract lint and dust? The official Gel case (which has now become slightly stretched and useless) continues to pick up every annoying piece of debris. I've given up and gone bare until something better (like this case) comes along.
Do a search for "innocase surface" on YouTube and you'll see a lot of reviews. They describe a slightly rubberized feel to the case, but apparently it isn't tacky and doesn't attract dust or lint.
Yes it is 2 pieces and it slides together. Its had that nice slightly rubberized feel to it but not too muck to their point it grips too much

Sold, sold, sold. I want this thing!
Do they typically sell these at T-Mo corporate stores? Or do you guys just get them online usually?
Great holster
I'm a big fan of the Seidio holsters. I've had one for my last few Blackberries. I tried several different holsters but I was traveling a lot and working in ceilings and not one of them lasted more than a month. The clip would inevitably break off. It happened once and I didn't notice until later. I had to spend over an hour looking for my phone that was on vibrate!
I chose the Seidio because it looked rugged. It never failed no matter how much I abused it. Now that I have an MT4G I'm really looking forward to getting one of their holsters for it. I've never used the Innocase, but I hightly recommend the holster. It's built very tough without looking like it. I don't see they have one listed yet for use without the case, but I'm hoping they'll make one.

meh when i had the nexus, the otterbox commuter is better than whatever crap and junk seidio sells *cough* batteries *cough* *cough* sorry i won't be giving my money to these assholes not even for $5.

Really, I bought a Otterbox Commuter for my Captivate and hated it and returned it the next day. The hard plastic looked cheap and the rubber was a lint magnet. I don't have experience with Seido cases but I bought a holster for my wife's iPhone4 and it's great.
Had an Innocase on my BB 8900 and It was good for the most part. It was one of the slide up ones. But It DID scratch the chrome part on the phone.
I did drop it multiple times on the floor and nothing happened the phone. BUT, one day it dropped about 3 feet down to concrete and the case cracked and wouldn't hold the phone well like it did before.
IT did fall on concrete almost that high before and nothing until that one day.
Also sliding the case off a couple of times messed up its sturdiness. Sturdiness as in, when I'd slide it up it stay on. after a while it wouldn't stay on well.
On my N1 I bought an Otterbox case and it was the best case I had. Even though it attracted lint and was hard to take off sometimes, I wouldn't buy any other case !
EDIT: got a battery from them for my N1. The thickness made me get rid of it. Come to find out the stock battery lasted way longer.
I thought the Innocase II is the one that was 2 pcs and snaps together.

yeah, it is.
Just ordered my Innocase II for my eventual TB. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that they are shipping some of their products. Specifically the innocase II, slim extended battery and screen protectors
http://www.seidioonline.com/category-s/5448.htm
As an FYI I ordered my case from Amazon as it was 23 bucks versus 29 direct from Seidio.
-Lil'
looks good... gonna amazon or ebay it thanks!
thanks for the 411
Not a big jump in the battery, but probably worth it if the phone works out as it should!
Got my seidio battery my zagg and my external charger ready and waiting for thursday

Has anybody received the innocase II yet, how's the fit? I should be receiving my innocase II and holster today, hopefully before I leave for work.
edit: finally received my case, it's fits really snug and doesn't look bulky at all, seidio never disappoints

Really?? You apparently didn't have the POS they released for the OG Droid, lol. But I'll agree the case for the Thunderbolt is EXCELLENT. Fits really well, not too bulky and works great with the combo holster. The only thing I don't really like is that it's a bit 'slippery' compared to the naked phone.
Can someone that has the innocase 2 in hand snap a pic or two? I never trust company photos. Also, how is it sliding in and out of pockets? My current case sucks big time.

I'll snap some more pics tonight but the company photos are spot on. This is of the phone in the case on the ezeStand that I took for them to judge the fit:
https://picasaweb.google.com/mcalab...authkey=Gv1sRgCJK00N-dyqD4owE&feat=directlink
As you can see it adds a small blue lip all around the phone. It's a two piece "snap" design (two halves slide over the phone from the top and the bottom and snap/lock into place). It doesn't add much dimension, for my large hands it adds just enough to make the device very comfortable. At first I thought it was a little to 'slippery' but now that's it's worn in it's great. Much better than the POSs I dealt with for the OG Droid. Def worth the money (and I got the combo because I love their 'screen in' holster).
I ended up breaking down and ordering one earlier anyway. My current case is driving me nuts since it stick in my jeans pocket and my work shirt pocket every single time. Thanks though.
Just in case anyone is interested in this case, I just wanted to let you know it is pretty fantastic. I've had it since I've had the phone (only about 4 days currently) but it fits very securely and the bulk it adds is negligible.
I additionally got the holster for it also and seems to we working securely. Just went out clubbing Saturday night and didn't have any problems with it even while dancing and all.

Thanks for the info, been looking at both the Active X and the Innocase Surface. Still not sure which one I want and too cheap to buy both.
I dont like the lip this case leaves over the screen. i love the cases look though its awesome. I just wouldnt be able to take the lip i dont like that at all. Its deff better looking than the surface case but i think thats what im going with. I did order a TPU case off ebay for $5. Its really nice looking. Idk the policy on links on this site so i wont post but search in ebay S-line case its really nice for the money still waiting on it but i only ordered a few days ago.
I just received the blue case (had to wait a bit, they only had the black one in stock for a while) and I also LOVE it. In addition to looking great, not adding too much bulk and feeling good in the hand, it also makes the volume rocker and POWER BUTTON easier to push. My power button had become quite a pain to push, and this case does a great job of making it easier. I would definitely recommend the Active X case.
does anyone know how this case compares (bulkwise) to the vzw silicon/plastic 2 layered case? I have the vzw one and it is a bit bulky for my tastes so far and it doesnt add much grip.
would you be able to use the holster with the Verizon case (black/red)

Likely not. I haven't tried specifically with this phone, but I've tried with others and it doesn't normally work. They do have a holster / case bundle, which is what I bought, and it works really well.
the holster gets old quickly with a phone this big. the BB is about as big as i would go with a holster
How many cases are there for the evo damnit, everyone i look at is just a flewzy piece of rubber.
I got the otterbox 1 which is a OKAY case but its too lose on the phone that it covers up the front camera sometimes, smh. and another white clear case..
I saw the Trident cases yesterday on this site and wondered how many more cases out there that i have never heard of.
What you guys prefer? I'm not one those people that going to waste 40$ on a case lol come on.
I got the HTC Hard Shell Case for HTC EVO™ 4G. It's at raidoshack for $18. Makes the phone feel soild and thick. Ive dropped it a few times and have not worried that any damage was inflicked to the phone. Check it out, at most radio shacks they'll let you take the case out and try it on your phone. It has holes for every port and button.
I have the Otterbox Commuter. No real complaints. The only con that I can complain about is that the rubber side of the case *drags/grips* while sliding it out of your pocket. It does add a bit of bulk, but it isn't clunky feeling.
not bad, thats a thick piece of material. I see there 2 colors. which do you have?

Tell you the truth i don't mind bulky at all. It just half the cases i have tried are so loose it feels like it doesn't belong on my phone. i want something snug

My buddy that works at sprint has the exact same one and when he stopped using it i tried it on my phone and idk if he did something to it or it got worn out but the rubber on that thing got stretched to ****. i could of fit 2 evo's in that case.
And i'm rooted so there are times were i need to do a battery pull, feels like im going to need a map to get that thing off
not sure if you were replying to my post, but it only comes in black/silver.

The commuter has an inner silicone/rubber case, then a hard plastic that goes over that.
http://www.wirelessground.com/htc-evo-4g-aluminum-case.html
dont remember what i paid, but got it for less than 15 $'s. some say it interferes with radio signal but i haven't had any problems. also, i dropped this several times and it did a great job protecting my evo. case is super easy to remove for battery pulls too.
I also have the Otter. I have the $35 one from Sprint. I guess there's a $50 one also. I love the 2 part case and mine fits like a glove. I think its designed wonderfully

I use this one: http://www.goballisticcase.com/
it is pretty tough, the full one is better than the otterbox defender
I've been using the seidio active case since I got my evo and I love it
On the go
Otterbox Commuter case on mine . . fits well . . adds just enough bulk to feel comfortable in hand . .
+ for the Otterbox Defender series the thing is like a rock its awesome, best place i found was Ebay super cheap like 30 bucks

got mine about a week and and i love mine but i prefer my Air jacket more. (Just because it doesn't hide my motomaker back). one thing i had against it is that it fit crazy tight and i almost felt like i was breaking my phone when trying to remove it. it also made my buttons a bit more sensitive than i would have liked, but not to much that it would randomly turn on.
Yeah.. I agree its super tight coming off. Have to go slow taking it off that's for sure.

Thanks for the review: I was considering the Supcase. While you did point out the minimal face-protection: I found that the size of the protection around the front-sides is exactly what I was looking for as I am currently working near minerals quite often so having a bit of breathing space is ideal.

wow... :victory: Great and Great... thanks for sharing it..
I've been using the Supcase for nearly 2 months now and I've got the say for the price you can't beat it. The clear back option is great and I like it since it keeps the dimple intact!
Ergonomics for the win!
I must be the only person here or on amazon who did not like the supcase. It had a great fit but I just didn't like the hard plastic shell and sharp edges. I only used a few times then put on ebay. For a thin casr I much prefer my tpu case that was $12 cheaper.
My SUPCASE Clear/Black came in and I'm loving it. The only problem I have right now(which is ironic) is that it's actually too-loose around the power/volume keys which makes it hard pressing down on the keys.
Great review. The case looks breautiful. I just ordered one on amazon for $16.
Has anyone used this case with Shure SE215 headphones? I am concerned that the earphone jack won't fit through the case as the opening isn't particularly wide. Would hate to have to return the case if my earphones don't fit.
I see your supcase review. It's great. I want to know how much it with shipping expense?
