So I don't live in the US and thinking of pre-ordering the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 from Amazon. I have a US address but I just want to make sure if I can use it if I'm not located in the US? There aren't any international usage restrictions, is that correct? Plus, the one listed on amazon is the Wi-Fi only model, right?
In my investigation research I have not seen anything other than the wifi edition.

Yes, you can order for Frys.com, but they charge $80 international shipping. I will either do that or drive to a Best Buy in the US and pick one up.

80 bucks for shipping holy crap are they hand delivering it? That's highway robbery! You don't happen to live in Calgary do you? Go half on travel costs lol

Where did you get that shipping quote? I went to the site and it wouldn't let me buy the item it said shipping nut available to my postal code, which is just s standard Calgary postal code....

Lol I live in Toronto, so its only an hour and a half to Buffalo, where I could pick it up. If i lived in Calgary i would gladly bring you one back!

Then you'll have to either pay the huge shipping price or drive, which is a days journey as it would be like 6-8 hours round trip. Maybe you could find something to do and stay overnight in the US lol. Or you could wait until November for it to be released in Canada, which is too long for me!

I've read this is going to be available to order on the same day the S8 comes out in the UK. As you put, information is very sparse on this in the UK. I'll post the source if i can find it again.

Luckily I'm on holiday until that date so I can't preorder the phone or VR until then anyway. Should be able to order both on that date.
Hmm so the guy at CPW said it'll be around £130, yet the headset is the same as last years model but with a controller. So actually it'll be far cheaper to buy a 2016 VR2 and the new controller. Shoulda kept the freebie from the note 7!
