It works. I stayed away from opera because I heard it didn't support flash, but tried it and it does?!?
Works good.

I want an app which will let me browse the internet and allow me to bookmark the pages but the bookmarks should not be visible from the stock browser (bookmark should not get automatically add up in stock browser). Earlier skyfire was satisfying my this need but with ICS upgrade its not possible, plz suggest me an app

Why do you need this?
I think Opera will work for you. Not sure why you would need that function, though. There's no flash support, by the way.
Boat browser.

It is a personal opinion. I used this for 5minutes and realised that I wasted 5 minutes from my life.

Finally (or just for now ) it's Dolphin browser. I have tried many and I agree Maxthon was a waste of time. Also Ninesky and Opera mini are good. Stock isn't bad but there is always something missing

xda forums will no longer load on my phone, neither will the app. it loads just fine on my laptop though, whats wrong with my phone?
Moved to About XDA.

What do you mean? Does it give you any errors? Can you browse other websites using your phone?
Sent from my rooted iTomato using xda app
It would just hang in all browsers and the xda app wouldn't load. I flashed a new ROM and all is well now. But idk what caused it? Just the xda site and forums wouldn't load?
Okay so xda won't load on my WiFi it will only load on my mobile network. What gives? Only once in a while it will load on WiFi for me.
Opera has released a beta of their new WebKit browser. I am very very impressed with it's performance. Some of the benchmarks I ran were very impressive. Besides a few bugs it works very well and is my daily browser now. Go check it out in the play store.

Performance is good...but I don't like the GUI. Don't hide my back/forward buttons, Opera.
The pie controls on the stock browser are the best...full screen browsing when not needed and out of the way, there when you want them with minimal effort.
Yeah the pie controls are pretty nice.

Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Yup . This has me really excited for the future of opera.

So how do you get Flash to work on this?
I don't think flash works with this opera.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
I agree Opera browser beta is a nice browser.
I've been using Opera Mobile as my main browser for a few years now, so I have plenty of faith in the company when it comes to mobile browsers.
can anyone share the apk? I can't download from the play store
Kind of ugly but was ok.
I like firefox better out of all browers on android.

I don't use mobile users agent, I always view the desktop website, so as far as desktop views go, opera is best because it reflows the text to fit in the screen when you Zoom. other browsers are weak with this.
Firefox is good, cause it supports native flash, but lately habit browser kicks firefoxes ass. But again neither of these have the reflow technology like opera.

Yeah I use Firefox occasionally as well. Its pretty nice. Sometimes scrolling isn't as smooth. It will take a while but I'm very curious to see what Mozilla does with servo.
