unrEVOked 3.32 "Internal error: failed to unlock NAND flash?" - Desire General

I am trying to root a HTC Desire CDMA with unrEVOked 3.32 but after "This was a triumph" I get "Internal error: failed to unlock NAND flash?"
I've searched all over Google and all I can find is to delete apps on the phone to free more internal memory but I've uninstalled everything that can be uninstalled.
Any ideas?

What is your bootloader version?

I had the same issue with my Desire. It's because unrEVOked doesn't work with hboot 1.06.

Any way to downgrade it to one that works with unrEVOked?
Or perhaps a new way that isn't unrEVOked?

To unlock your phone, you have to use unrevoked forever or alpharev x. Hboot versions with >1 cannot be unlocked with "normal" unrevoked.

Alpharev X
As above try Alpharev X (disclaimer: it's beta software!)

I have tried AlphaRev X and it just gets stuck on 'Beta key accepted - thank you for participating!'
Unrevoked Forever doesn't work with HBOOT 1.06 according to RootWiki.

Did you install hboot drivers correctly? Have you htc sync drivers installed?
If not, do it. Then boot your phone in fastboot mode and try to run alpharev x again.

[Q] How to root the Gingerbread Ruu update?

Hi all,
I did the update to the new 2.3 gingerbread version today but how to root this version?
Unrevoked doesn't work for me and downgrading to 2.2 rom doesn't work too.
Any ideas?
Why downgrading to 2.2 ROM doesnt work?
Tried to flash RUU? You have gold card? (if branded)

Also in the comments on that page it says it does not require a goldcard, is that true?

So why my HBOOT says its a BRAVO huh? I know its a desire because the name on the box, hboot and working roms of desire. IS IT POSSIBLE TO RE-ROOT AND S-OFF BY UPGRADING THE HBOOT TO THE GOOD VERSION?
From personal experience on a Desire, messing with the HBoot can have a chance of bricking the device. I got stuck where I could only enter commands through fastboot and adb, then tried everything possible to get it back to no avail.

That was not my question. My question was, why you don't use alpharev live cd to get s-off? You wrote you could not go s-off with revolutionary. So you must be still s-on. And with s-on you cannot use fastboot.

So you burned the iso with magiciso on a cd and the computer does not boot from it? Is that right?
If not, could you explain this sentence "Evertime i try to make that live cd with MagicIso my dvd rom opens up" a little more (what exactly do you do?), please? Because I do not understand it.
I found you had to have a stock rooted rom installed to use alpharev 1.8 i followed the instructions from here and all worked first time

What you can do is search for the 2.3 Android update (which is not carrier locked) and download it. Then take the battery out of your desire and hold the down volume button and turn it on. Use the volume button to select 'fastboot' and then press there power button to select. After this start the 2.3 update on your computer and then you should be fine.

Of course it fails at radio, you have a new one and you need a newer RUU. Go to HTC dev site, kernel source code part, configure filter to DEVICE (Desire) and choose OTHER below it, click FIND FILES and the first one to download will be RUU upgrade android version 2.3.
Download the upgrade, reboot phone to bootloader and run it.

Hi gifted. I really need your help.
Am to Ivory Coast and I have a HTC Inspire 4G A9192 Android version 2.3.3
I wanted to upgrade to Android 4.2 cm JellyTime_R30.
First I installed ClockworkMode recovery v5.8.1.5
After flach Rom I restarted my phone and it stayed on HTC logo for several minutes (10 to 15 minutes). I removed the battery to recover. When I always turn the same scenario. When I put him in charge, it goes into recovery mode.

Having an unlocked bootloader isn't the same thing as having a recovery image installed.
You need to download ClockworkMod Recovery (or similar) for the Desire and install it. Try alpharev.nl as the easiest way to do this.

Restore S-ON and stock Hboot

Hello all,
I have put the S-OFF and the Hboot 6.93.1002 using the revolutionary.io tool.
Right now, I want to put my phone with the stock hbook and S-ON.
I looked for it and I saw a lot of people saying to install old RUUs.
I tried these ones:
RUU_Bravo_HTC_Europe_1.15.405.1_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_121684.exe
RUU_HTC Desire Android 2.3 Upgrade (Gingerbread).exe
RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.15.405.4_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_122704.exe
RUU_Bravo_HTC_Europe_1.15.405.3_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_121865.exe
And all of them failed, they do not restore hboot.
Could you help me? My phone is GSM version.
