I have problems with my gps. I have it on all the time and it can never get signal from the satellites. Anyone else have this problem or a way to fix it?

If you are on stock (pure) ec05 try rebooting then run GPStest. If still no satellites try clearing Agps data in GPStest settings. Then try it again. Froyo gets stale data stuck in there that needs to be refreshed.

A little over 3 months ago I moved from Kokomo, Indiana to a town in Kentucky. I have changed my phone number and have a local number. I am having an issue getting the weather widget to the right city no matter what rom I flash. It keeps wanting to switch back to my old location of Kokomo. The town I live in doesn't come up as one because well I live in a small farm town. It's getting pretty irritating. Anyone else experience this and how do I fix it?
Note: This seems to happen when I am on my home wifi. I am sitting here trying to duplicate it. On 3G it goes to the right city. On wifi it is defaulting to another city.
Thanks for the assistance.

Go into settings>display and do the calibration.

That should help. If not, there is another way.
Use terminal emulator to run your system/bin/sensorcalibutil_yamaha file. Search out the thread on this for complete instructions.

Mine works fine on Legendary. Make sure Sprint_app_upater and sprintandroidextensions has not been removed by your ROM.

They are supposed to be in the system/app folder on your phone. Used Root Explorer or ES File Explorer to check.

If they are missing, here is the thread I started for it:

I have never had to add system files back in before, so I might be doing something wrong. I dl'd those 2 files and added them to the system/apps folder (they weren't there), but its still not working even after rebooting.

Double check that they stuck. Some apps will claim to copy files to system but don't make it rw and don't give you an error message.

However XDA will open up, so as my browser but Words with friends won't work and the market of course isn't working I'm running SetDNS.
I tried disabling JD didn't do any good, tried disabling SetDNS no luck either. My phone has encountered this before.
I'm on CM7 with Seppuku 17.5 this just started happening during playing Words with friends mid game. And trust me its not a kernel issue it will happen on stock CM7 too.
Is this happening to any one you guys? TIA for help

Nope same setup and I'm not having any issues with the market? clear data and cache and retry it as well as with words... yes I know stupid suggestion but hey go for it
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
clear data on download manager
Once in awhile I will get a connection error on CM7 but toggling Aitplane mode fixes it for me.

Didn't work for me I kept doing that and even uninstalled market updates, Nothing. I don't use download manager. And
Have toggled airplane mode on and off. Like I said its only the market. I'm still using wifi right now on XDA postin this.
Edit: Just cleared data from download manager still isn't working I tried rebooting, turning off and on. Also My date got reverted to jan. 1 2005?

Try turning off wifi, with 3G on, clear data in gmail, log in, sync, then clear data in the market and go to it. Hopefully that will refresh your market connection.

That means your in sync with google network you didn't happen to close out google services in running services? Cuz that would cause the green to go away

Rooting shouldn't affect any apps. You can try clearing app data's in Maps and Nav. Maybe even turn on WiFi to help it find location faster.
