I have posted already on the Omnia section...hoping others can help me with this problem as well...
After a power surge, my Omnia hanged then when I rebooted, its now stuck at that Logo Screen. Did everything possible (hard reset, flash rom, go into recovery mode which gets stuck after zune reboots the phone....)
Used the windows support tool and I get this message: The phone is not in the 'Connect to PC' state. Please, make sure that you follow the instructions and your phone shows the 'Connect To PC' image
But I am on that Connect to pc state, but once I click on recover, I get a flash of codes then shows this message on top.
Attached is a pic of that flash message before the error above comes out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
i have exactly the same problem. my omnia used to boot loop or logo stuck randomly before mango update, flashed a new rom, connected with zune to update but it freezes again in step 8/10 (restarting your phone).
the download mode works fine and the t-mobile logo dissapeared after flashing the new rom (at last), but the problem still persists

Hello,
My Nexus crashed yesterday, showing screen artifacts. Now it only gets to the Google Logo with the lock-symbol at the bottom. After a few seconds, it crashes again, again with artifacts. Recovery will crash in the same way.
The bootloader also shows these artifacts, but is (partly) functional.
My PC recognizes the device, but as soon as I try to flash, the bootloader crashes/is stuck at downloading the image.
"fastboot devices" works, showing my device, but "adb devices" does not show it.
What can I do to flash the stock ROM?
Alright, I started a few things and probably fcked up.
The phone now only shows the following:
phone symbol ---- !(yellow triangle with exclamation mark) ---- PC symbol
I tried doing the OMAP Flash, but I think that did not work, as it still only shows those symbols.
Is there anything I can do now?
I don't know if this will help since I've never got that before but I recalled somebody having the same problem as yours and said this guide fixes it, I bookmarked it just in case, since I'm ultra-paranoid about soft-brick like these: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528139&highlight=unbrick+your+nexus
Hey guys. just tried to flash CM 10.1.3 after some bugs in Carbon started getting on my nerves. Used ROM Toolbox and ended up getting my device stuck in some kind of weird boot loop. The phone boots up with the samsung logo and (recovery booting) text at the top left hand corner. For some reason, it boots up, but nothing on the display. it vibrates every few seconds, but nothing. I tried to boot into recovery manually, but the same thing happens. So i figure I'll just to into Odin and flash my stock copy on, no big deal. For some reason, my PC, nor Odin are recognizing that the GS3 is plugged in and in download mode. No Unkown Devices, nothing shows up anywhere. Anyone know a fix, or am I completely ****ed?
If your PC does not recognize download mode, you can try to check the cable, plug it into a different USB port, or pull your battery and try again.
If none of that works, you are not screwed. Be lucky you have an android It's possible for an android to boot from an SDcard such as a windows boot disk on desktop.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345860 AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS THREAD, contains a link for an AT&T SGH-i747 debrick.img which should work ( I will edit my post when I complete, I am in the process of repairing my old brick now)
I an not responsible for any damage done to the device, or any sudden loss of limbs.

My tablet was stuck in upgrading firmware mode whenever I booted it up. Used LG tool to flash stock firmware, and it would hang at 28%.
Went into recovery mode and clicked wipe cache, and when I rebooted it now says
boot certification verify and the top left with the LG logo and it hangs here.
Can no longer enter download mode to reflash.
Recovery mode still works, but none of the options work
*Wipe cache (top of screen will say boot certification verify and hang)
*Restore factory defaults (will hang at Restoring Factory Settings)
*Safe mode (reboots to boot certification verify and LG logo)
Figured I could try to use SRK tools, but nothing comes up in my Device manager when I plug it in anymore (not even qhsusb_bulk)
When I power it off and on with usb plugged in, windows will occasionally make the new device detected sound, but then make the device disconnected sound about a second later, so nothing will appear in device manager.
Does anybody have any suggestions or any way I can get this thing running again? Or anyway I can get my computer to even recongnize it as qhsusb_bulk so I can use SRK tools?
Hey everyone,
I did something really stupid while trying to get a certain app to recognize a codec that it needed in order for it to work and seem to have probably bricked my phone.
Phone Details:
LGH812
Lollipop 5.0.1
rooted
I went to /system/ and renamed lib64 to lib64bak because I wanted to put some new files in there. This caused the phone screen to immediately go black and unresponsive. I took out the battery and re-inserted it. The phone boot logo with LG comes up and then it goes to a black screen with the dead android guy with red triangle and the exclamation mark. No other text is present in this screen. Stays at this screen for about a minute and reboots only to go back to the exact same screen.
Things I have tried:
1.) I tried to boot into download mode (power+volume down) still goes to the aforementioned screen.
2.) Got LGUP to recognize the com port once, but it shows up as unknown and won't let me proceed with a fresh wipe/install
3.) Tried the LG Flashing tool, couldn't even see the com port.
4.) Tried the WHQL universal drivers as well as the specific device drivers with no advancement.
What I believe is happening is that it's trying to boot properly initially, but it can't find lib64 folder so it fails to launch the os and then tries to go into recovery due to error, but fails to go to recovery also because of lib64 is missing.
If anyone has any ideas/things I can try to get it into recovery or download mode or if anyone has seen this state before and was able to fix it please let me know.
Thank you all for your time!
Hello,
I bought a "bricked" Galaxy Tab S4 on ebay. The only info I got was, that it is stuck in a bootloop since the last automatic update.
The bootloop is similar to this one. The tablet starts with the Samsung logo, then nothing happens and after a while I end up in recovery mode. Further, if I restart or hardreset the tablet, the screen stays black. The only way to boot it up again is to empty the battery while it is stuck in the bootloop. Afterwards I can enter download mode by holding "vol up and down" and plugin the usb cable.
In download mode this text appears at the bottom left:
#reboot recovery cause [unknown]
API: 3
manual mode 1.0.0
(Similar to this thread.)
OEM lock is on and of course I can't change this being stuck in the bootloop, or can I?
I successfully flashed the stock rom T830XXU5CUE2 with Odin3_v3.14.4 and latest samsung drivers. Unfortunately it does not help or fix anything. (I used virtualbox, but it worked and said "PASS" at the end).
After some research I would like to try my luck with a combination rom, but I can't find a U5 version which I should use because of T830XXU5CUE2, is that correct?
Any ideas how I could proceed from here? With OEM lock I guess there is no chance to flash TWRP on it?
