Is there an app that will route in call audio to bluetooth while 3.5 jack is plugged in? I know there is one for Froyo but I am looking for GB?
I am willing to take a dive and try to create it myself. I just need a push in the right direction.

What is the one for froyo
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
This works with ec05 even though it was built for eb13(?). I have used it on SRF 1.2, ironman jarvis, and bonsai. I had issues on 1.1. If you notice that you cant hear audio when using the actual phone for calls just reboot. It has only happened to me once.

I just rooted my stock gb EVO 4g and am trying to get hdmi win to work on my flat screen and it doesn't register and says no signal

I had the same problem. Also on mine the built in hdmi app took over instead of hdmwin. Is there a way to shut off the stock hdmi and only have hdmwin active to see on the tv? I didn't flash a new kernel yet but I heard it helps.

I got it to work with deck Rom 1.3b Rom and tiamat kernel. Works pretty good and had no problem with it

I am using this young guy's rom currently, it is the 3D one put out by evolvedandroid. On my other EVO for my kid we have the EVOlvedROM directors cut one. HDMI out works well on both to our 55" LED TV.
edited to add: my apologies if I didn't spell things right or punctuate correctly.

When I was on 2.3.3 Sense 3.0, I couldn't get HDMwIn to work. In my opinion, the custom kernel I used (iron monkey) doesn't support it at this time. I switched to CM7 because I needed the HDMwIn app and SIXAXIS to work. Typically speaking, the custom kernel would usually indicate whether it's HDMwIn compatible. Usually I'd wait, but the Sense UI doesn't support the profile needed for complex profiles (referring to SIXAXIS).

What he is saying is: read the description of the app, it says it won't work with stock 2.3.3 Sense. Use CM7.

has anyone else noticed that the sound being output thru the audio jack on cm7 and miui is not as loud or clear as when using a touchwiz Rom? I have and I'm wondering if there is anyway of fixing or improving audio output. I don't want to carry around a ipod anymore lol any and all help appreciated

I think the volume increments are pretty broken. I've been using CM7 and I use my phone in the gym. It's been pretty irritating

i'm on the same boat +1
I wonder if the audio can be modified to be better I heard of some mod it was like voodoo something I wonder if that can be ported to out phone

I am currently running codnameandroid its an amazing 4.1 ROM however I do have an issue with the volume on this phone when it comes to speaker and headphones. I tried volume plus a week ago for the fist time and wow did it make my speakers vibrate. After some more ROM flashing i decieded to flash nexuslouderv3 and it worked. I got sorta greedy and used that with volume plus and the sound went back to stock. I tried flashing with one of them being used and vice versa but no luck. I even formatted my system and data but no luck. Anyone have suggestions?

Try franco kernel. It has built-in volume booster.

Trinity has the same thing too. The volume boost is only for headphones anyway.
Are you saying louderv3 working but then stop functioning after trying to use volume+? If so disable volume + and make sure your musical effects (in settings>sound) is not set to volume+.
The volume of this room is pretty low. I'm sure it's not the phone as in other roms the volume is much louder. I can barely hear YouTube in a public setting. Lol. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Maybe give the Viper Modz a try here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
or ask in the thread of the Rom...
Tried in the thread but then there all this is a developer thread! Lol. And will do. Thanks

I believe you can flash the NEAK kernel, then install the uNEAK app from the Market and adjust the volume. Did this last night on PAC-Man rom and volume is nice and loud now
Got it from here:

I also use the Neak Kernel with Beanstalk and use the uNeak app from the Playstore. You can adjust the mic, headphones and speaker volumes. If it's compatible with your Rom, might want to give it a try.

Viper works flawlessly on most if not all Rom's!! There's a lot of info on the page. So if you can figure out how to get everything working. That'll be a great accomplishment grasshopper!

Ok you may have just installed the wrong one. Delete the one you have installed first. Then reboot and reinstall the new one!
Here's the one I used:
http://db.tt/XTj0YXNH
And you only need one installed!
As far as the other sound file's, I highlighted which one I downloaded from the viper page.
You just have to use a file explorer to move the files to the correct folder!
Once your done, start a song then open viper audio mod. And change your setting! From there...
FYI:
Keep in mind that if you have a Bluetooth earpiece connected. And then if you connect into the headphone jack. It'll default to the Bluetooth sound for you headphone jack. Until you disconnect the Bluetooth. Then it'll default to the headset setting in VIPER..

Ok I taught I gave you just the apk.
Here try this one it's the apk only:
http://db.tt/f0spvlYv
But you can use the first one I gave you also. I think I use the file on the right of that zip.
The apk I used was like 1.28mb..
Cpu setting..
After install, open, then install driver. It's the last one on the list A9/15..

Then something is wrong. Did you perform a reboot after you installed the driver?
Because all mine work. Headset, speaker, Bluetooth, they all change the sound. If you have some head phones use those to set it up.
What steps do you do. Do you know what to turn on and what not to? All the info is on the viper page!!
Check post#2 the sound setting are there...

Yes I did the reboot. And the thing is when I tried to set it up with my headphones (audio technica brand) no setting changed any sound. I could turn anything on or off and no change would reflect.
