I have been looking around for a month or so and cannot find a dock like this. All I want it to do is charge my phone, have the ability to play music as an alarm, play that alarm through external speakers, and be able to play media through the speakers.
I am interested in this too
Did you try Alarm clock plus?
i believe it does what you want.
will be hard to find
If dig around in this section, there is a thread with a ton of homemade docks. Maybe that can help. Miami_Son had one made by Samsung. Not sure if he still does. They do exist though.

Anyone figure out a way to get HTC Audio Manager to recognize the correct order in which to play songs in an album based on ID3 tag info? It seems that unless you manually add the track number to the beginning of each song title that HTC Audio Manager just plays songs in alphabetical order.
Does this annoy anyone other than me? Is there a way to change this?
That problem alone keeps me from using an otherwise beautiful audio player. AD2P and AVCRP working great. A preamp control would be nice too.
Same problem for me! If somebody has a solution, I would be happy!
I am guessing that there is no solution to this is there?
Seems like a dreadful oversite as otherwise it is a great piece of software!!
The thing which it makes it seem particularly odd is that the id3 tag's Title is given during playback, not the filename. If it can read the title surely it could get the track number!
I too am disappointed that this program cant recognize the correct order It really makes the program useless, unless its supposed to just be used for a randomized list.
I recommend GSPlayer though.. it's simple, doesnt have a huge memory footprint, and it supports playlists like a beauty
I got lost trying to compare all the MP3 models so....can someone tell me which model(s) have these features.
I looking for an MP3 player with the following features.
Aprox. 500 songs capacity
FM radio
FM recorder
Bookmark function so I could stop podcasts and return to where I left off.
Screen so I could see albums and songs, podcasts from same site...
Maybe I'd better stop there.
you mean htc phones which support mp3 ?
all wm200X devices play mp3 out of the box
how many songs they play depend on the memory
and since people can add flash cards as they see fit
it's no biggi really
Artemis does fm
if you mean a standalone mp3 player as in not a wm device or phone then
a list would be impossible i'd say there are around 5000 of such devices out there
maybe this one

My sister used an MP3 player in her car. It is very useful and cheapest from others.
I think you can get your all features in this player. it’s sound output is very good as well as amazing battery life. You may check out the site : www.goliathbargains.com
I forgot to tell you... Remote is very handy. I no longer need to locate the forward button on FM transmitter while driving.
Good luck!
I am on the hunt for the best music playing app. I currently use Google Music, as it is one of the best I have used to date. My problem is with the new limitation on devices I am eventually no longer going to be able to use it because I flash new roms all the time.
I don't want to store all my music on my SD because it is not exactly the most efficient way for me. I want to be able to stream my library just like the way Google Music does it, but I can't find anything that works as nice.
I'm sure I will not be the only one that will encounter this problem with the stupid limitation thing.
Any ideas???
I thought Google had fixed that a couple weeks ago? Have you tried checking on the Google Music webpage on your computer?

Yea, Google responded pretty quickly to that uproar

I'm all for Google Music because of the cloud integration. I still find it amazing that I walk around with my 15,000 songs and 100+ playlists in my pocket.
I believe the stock audio player for CM9, Apollo, will also be a market app if I'm not mistaken. Anything from those guys is definitely worth checking out
thanks. I didn't know they fixed it. I cleaned up my device list now. Let's just hope that they don't put a limit on this in the future.
Okay, does anyone know of a widget that displays the output of a graphic EQ? Does anyone know what I mean? Just spent about 45 minutes searching the market with no luck. It doesn't have to be tied to a music player or even an adjustable EQ for that matter. Just want a widget that displays sound output through a 2D graphic equalizer, kinda like the "spectrum" live wallpaper that's pretty much standard on every android phone, only a widget, and a 2D graphic EQ. I would think that this would exist. Thanks.
I Agree
I too have been looking for something like what you have described. It doesn't seem like something too complicated and it suprises me that one can't be found. If I do find one I wull be sure ti notify you. I know this is quite a late reply but I hope you too will let me know if you find one.
u guys are right ,I searched every website and found nothing.I dunno why developers do not try such a simple thing.if spectrum LW can do it,it will not be very hard to make a HS widget. finally I found a widget in play store, although not very satisfying it is good.it doesn't show the graph fir various frequencies but shows a moving level...
it is music vu meter..try it ...
waiting for someone to create a good widget ..so sad I'm not a developer....:'(
Greetings Zooper Deities!
I am still new to andoid in general and Zooper in specific. Widget making is awesome, I am completely in love with the possibilities! I'm just wondering if one of those possibilities is to have dual Zooper music player widgets positioned at the same time. Specifically, I want to make a player for my audible books (sacrificing the 30-second "go back" feature and the sleep timer) and one for my music player (Google PlayMusic for now, until my Rocket Player is supported).
I don't want to go to all the trouble to design a pair of widgets that can't be used together... and I honestly don't even want a homepage for audio playing if it can't control both. The way I have it now is using the proprietary widgets from Rocket Player and Audible, but they are mismatched and ugly and make me sad. :crying:
So, am I still asking too much, or is this a doable goal?
Hi,
What player do you use for your Audio Books?

Click to collapse
Just to clarify this: do you want to have separate widgets for different media players or do you want one to rule them all? The first is not possible to do with Zooper because you can't specify which music app should be controlled. The later should be possible, though I've never used Audible and thus I'm not sure if Media Utilities(MU) fully supports it.
P.S.: deities? love that
I use the audible app to download and control my audio books. They offer a widget that works pretty well, but is ugly as sin.
I want to be able to switch on-the-fly from listening to my audiobook to listening to music. I can do that with the proprietary widgets, seamlessly: pressing play on one pauses the other and starts up where it left off. It needn't be *that* complex, I'm capable of pressing pause and then play myself. So, short answer long, I do indeed want two players.
