I tried 3 or 4 different cases/pouches for my phone and have settled down with MOFI Pouch from Amazon, its the kangaroo series, costs 3 pounds but very good quality and looks expensive, I ordered black and brown. Good thing about this pouch is that it has got soft velvet type material inside that cleans the screen every time you pull it out. Search for the following term, cant post a link sorry.Hope this helps someone.

is the pouch just for the headphones (to store) or are the headphones connected to the phone in the pouch ?
Waiting for a black one, it thought it looked the best. Really like the idea of the phone getting cleaned every time it gets pulled out of the pouch. Using an Android OEM pouch in the meantime, which is not that bad either.
ehh
I picked up one of these MOFI kangeroo cases as well, but gave up on it after a day of use.
The inside lining does clean the screen most of the time, but the rest of the case is the issue. The cloth exterior is extremely...well, grippy, meaning when you try to pull out the case in your jeans pocket, the pocket lining gets dragged out with the case. Its also too furry for me, because the last thing I want is to be sweating all over my case when summer hits in a month's time.
I'd say that this case is great for those who keep their phone in a briefcase/handbag/backpack etc, but the useability drops significantly if you are the type to put it in the front pocket of your jeans.
Anyone tried one of these leather case from mofi? seems decent and the seller said it fits well with the phone.
The OEM android pouch is nice too but it takes ages to ship to the UK.

Yeah, I have both of the Mofi cases and IMO the Kangaroo offers more protection than the Lux. The Lux is very thin and flimsy but I prefer it's look and feel so I use that one. In regards to the fit it hangs out the top of the pouch by about 1-2mm whilst the Kangaroo encases it completely.
I got this "Advanced Mofi Leather Galaxy S2 SII i9100 Case Pouch UK" it's the same as the Lux but a different design.

Hey thanks for sharing your experience=)
pity that the Lux one doesn't cover up to the top.. really like the look of it but not sure if the quality is good enough to last for months.
Hi guys
I use the official gs2 case, it does leave the top and bottom exposed but I also have the HTCHD7 leather pouch and combine nicely together ;-)
I received my Official Samsung Case today, the vent one, and with it on it just fits inside the Kangaroo but doesn't fit the Lux or Advanced pouch. I just thought I would post in case anyone was thinking of pairing the two.

Chris

WTF???
I'm using the Mofi case I used with my SGS, about 1mm of the phone sticks out. I don't like the Kangaroo ones so if I can find the regular Mofi for the SGS II I'll probably buy it.
edit: Found one and ordered it.

Apparently it's made of some material that feels wierd in the hand or something.
Well I'm holding the one for the SGS and it doesn't feel weird. Maybe the person has hairy palms or something.
I got mine today the kangaroo series. It does feel weird in a way. The fur seems like it will get dirty with all the dust around where I live. Before that I was using the stock Sony Xperia ARC stock pouch which the SGS2 fits nicely in.
I didn't know that 1-2 mm of the SGS2 sticks out of the Lux leather, shame I already ordered it. but gotta say that the kangaroo series is nice despite that it will be a dust/dirt magnet due to its fur.
i want to buy a kangaroo pouch, but i live in chile.. and its very expensive, who can send me one please?? ill pay u, but to get it in my home from amazon ill have to pay like $40

I too own both Mofi pouches, but I whilst I agree the Lux version looks better, I prefer and use the Kangeroo pouch on a daily basis! I feared from the pic on ebay that the Lux pouch may not fully cover the phone and that is the case: somewhat defeating the object of having a pouch imho.
Also of note is that I didn't really want the extra (kangeroo) pouch for headphones or whatever, and some on ebay look like they don't have it, which is what I ordered. Sadly when my pouch arrived it was of the kangeroo style. Whilst I don't as yet use the pouch for any accessories or anything, I can confirm it doesn't really add any bulk, and if anything adds extra cushioning and offers more peace of mind in the event of a drop!
As a general note I just want to say I prefer to use pouches for general protection on mobiles because why would you want to spoil the lovely thinness of the SGS2 with a bulky gel case? Yes, it doesn't protect against a drop whilst in use, but I have insurance!
The Mofi Kangaroo pouch get's my vote!
just ordered from the amazon.ca to muy courrier on usa to get it to chile... it will be little expensive, but i like it

Is it possible to put earphones into that case? or is it dangerous for the phone/not enough space?
Do you mind taking some real pics of it? cause really the ebay pics seem so fake.
Hi guys,
Just wondering if any of you using a Rock Quicksand case with your S3 have found a leather pouch that the duo will fit in?
I was thinking of buying the official case and hoping it will stretch, but any advice would be much appreciated.

Simply because the reviewer said it was loose, it is. Probably enough to get the phone+Rock on with a bit of work. Accepts mine no problem with a flip cover, which has a wider case back and the front flap. Not bad quality either.
Thanks for the reply! In the end, I took a chance and ordered the genuine Samsung Galaxy Note pouch which fits the combo perfectly.
Absolutely delighted.

You guys mind taking some shots of the S3 in note's pouch? I wanna see how snugly it fits into the pouch, and how easy it will be to take out.
I'm using the rock quicksand as well and I have been looking for comfort fit neoprene pouch, nothing skin tight.
Thanks!
Here you go!
The phone fits firmly in the note case but is also extremely easy to remove - if you squeeze the edges of the pouch together, the phone slips out freely.
Couldn't ask for more!

Nice! but it looks like it's made of leather (or faux leather). what's the inside like? same material? suede? I'm just paranoid of how it may scratch my screen. hence I've been looking for neoprene materials all these while. my nillkin protector is dry application hence doesn't cover everything. you reckon it'll be safe from scratches?
Looks like they don't have it locally though. Gonna need to order online....

Youre worried about the 2 millimeter space around the screen protector that is of no actual use anyway? (which is also made of gorilla glass 2 and I have to assume it can withstand some soft suede)

I think I'm going to get the Krussell Luna 4XL pouch. I already have a KaysCase and I think the 3XL pouch would fit my phone only but with the case on it I think the 4XL would be a better fit.
http://www.amazon.com/Krusell-Premium-Leather-Samsung-SmartPhones/dp/B006VAMZLA/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1341019454&sr=1-1&keywords=krusell+luna+4xl
Hi,
any experience with the Luna 4XL yet? Got a Quicksand merely out of curiosity and I am so much impressed of the haptics it adds, don't want to return it. Still, more important to me is a pouch that protects the phone, especially the screen when it's in my pocket, laptop case, backpack, etc.
I hab pretty good experiences, case-wise with the Noreve on my HD2, but the S3 with the Quicksand so far did not fit into any of the pouches I tried. Placed an order for the Krusell, even though the Quicksand is thicker than the specs for the Luna are (10.8 vs 10 mm). We'll see how it fits...

Let me start this review just by saying that i love bumper cases. I
have been looking over the internet to find the best bumper case for
our Galaxy s3. I came across this case. Its a STRONG silicone bumper
that completes me in every aspect.
First of all. Its cheap. I think that everyone can try a cheap case
and if they dont like it, they throw it to their dog. (hehehe) Guys,
seriously. this is the best bumper case i have seen over the internet.
Why? It has a nice touch when you are holding your
phone. VERY nice touch. You will want to just hold your phone because
it has a nice feel Second of all: PROTECTION. And i mean it. Front,
back and sides are fully protected.
Front side (screen): the case has a slight bump on the edges so if the
phone drops the floor, its still protected (floor not the road hehe).
Back: Again, the case has a bump on the edges. So if your phone drops
on the back, protected!!! if you want to lay down your phone on a
table: PROTECTED.
Sides: Full protection, which is obvious why: its the case hehe.
Buttons: FULLy accessible button, both power and volume buttons. They
are covered by a soft silicone so there are very easy to press
(compare to the other tpu case i have reviewed)
I dont know if there are more colours available. You must check on
sellers ebay site.
Rating: If this case would be rated its a rock solid 5/5. Believe me
on this. It defenently worths every peny guys. I even compare it with
a TPU bumper case, that i have reviewed last week, amd this is by far
better.
Enjoy the pictures. I tried to take as many as possible.
I will review more bumper cases in the near future so stay tuned.
You can buy this on this link:

Do you guys mean the material of the case degraded? This is all one-piece right? I was JUST shopping for my first bumper case and saw some aluminum ones that snap or screw together, but it seemed like the TPU ones are just a single piece of material and wrap around the edges.
Its a single piece mate. Plus you dont lose any signal plus its a snap in snap out plus its veryyy cheap
How does this fit with a zag shield?
Galaxy S3 Paranoid ROM.
I think that with the zagg shield you will be ok. The case has already a tight fit so its better not to use extra protection underneeth. I dont think you need zagf shield for the back cover because its already protected from the case.

If it is anything like the one for the Galaxy Nexus (and it appears to be the same), there is a hard plastic material used on the rear portions of the bumper, while the piece which surrounds the screen is flexible rubber. With the GN, the two materials separated.

Thanks for the review, I ended up buying the same one but in white. I'm guessing they come from china because this thing isn't going to arrive for like three weeks haha. Oh well whatever.

Do you think the the bezel or screen would get damaged if I dropped it from pocket height and it hit the corner on cement? Just wondering if I should still be extra careful when using this bumper.

i got mine in less than 3 weeks becuase the seller shipped the case in an envelope (like a mail). for three bucks its a bargain.
After trolling for an hour in the accessories forum about all the various cases for the Note 2, none seemed to positively fit what I need. I'm hoping that somebody might have a specific recommendation.
I carry my Note 2 in my shirt pocket, but the bare Note 2 is VERY slippery. Right now I have some pieces of E-Grip tape applied to the back and that helps greatly with both gripping the Note and making sure it stays in my pocket. I can actually lean over and tie my shoe and it won't slide out. But, the sides of the Note are still quite slippery.
I was wondering if anybody had come across a minimalist case that had real ANTI-SLIP capabilities, both on the back and on the sides. One that looks like it might is called Body Glove, but nobody specifically commented on anti-slip, just it's somewhat knobbly texture.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
I've been using a Ringke Slim from Rearth. Very minimal but gives fair protection on the back and sides plus is much grippier than the stock back cover.

Thanks for the recommendation. I did a lot of searching and it appears AnyMode cases are not common in the U.S. I found a couple U.S. resellers handling one or two of them, but not for the Note 2.
If anybody knows of a U.S. reseller handling Note 2 silicone cases, please let me know.

I brought a hardened silicone case which still resilient & has sand blasted like back I like it alot & it didn't add that thickness to the overall volume , wish if theres something like it with added flip cover

I just got my Dual Armor from HandHeldItems.com. so far I like it, as it's almost identical to the Pt case I used with my Inspire 4g. It has a kickstand that flips out for landscape mode that seems sturdy enough. The only thing missing is a front cover flap. That seems to be the missing holy trinity for me; its either durable body or screen coverage, but not both.

A solution...
I have come up with a solution using any hard plastic cases.. I can add a surface that's similar to skateboard grip tape I did it on my Otter Box commuter for my Droid Maxx.. Works like a charm.. Send me a case I'll texture it for $15.. plus return postage.. I can email a pic.. PM your email address for pictures..
Best case is the leicke manna case.... impressive case.
I tried 2 gel cases the mini suit and amzers both found on Amazon.com
The mini suit doesn't have a gel feel, and lacks protection. Here's the link for mini suit..
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=Amzer+note+10.1
Amzers case has a very jelly feel, and is also much thicker. The price is well worth the extra grip and protection. Which is my favorite thing about the case. It helps you grip the enormous 10in display comfortably without fear of slippage.
http://www.amazon.com/Amzer-AMZ9466...id=1359557273&sr=8-1&keywords=Amzer+note+10.1
All in all if you want the cheapest case you can get to prevent back scratches go with mini suit. If you actually want a grippy protective gel case go with the Amzer. Both cases come in many colors, and at only $20 for the amzer, and $10 for the mini suit($5 shipping included) they are both a steal!
Please remember to thank post if you found it helpful!

Hey man, So I was about to post pics for you but my phone kinda crapped out. Sent it into samsung so it should be back in the next 2 weeks. I will try to borrow my GF's GS3 to take some pictures later.. Unfortunately I am using a basic Huawei Android ATT Go phone in the mean time. No flash ****ty 3MP camera wouldn't really show you what you want to see.
I will be honest though, my thoughts about the amzer case where exactly that it was an amazingly snug and good fit. All the speakers/mics/camera/everything is all flush.
I have the amzer. It is thick and heavy. Loads of protection though. It covers all the silver except for speaker grills. There is a YouTube clip I think.

Im not sure if your aware of the newer types of polymers used for gel cases nowadays. They are more dust resistent. In short I dont have a huge dust issue when using the amzer gel case. It stays fairly clean and if it attracts an occasional cat or dog hair theyre not statically glued to the case! Hope this helps!
I have the mini suit and it's great. Fits snugly and all the holes match up. I have a handmade leather case for my note and the mini suit is good to use when I'm walking around with it.
