it works i can confirm it and damn is it fast had to move some files over from 2.2 but wow what a difference 1.6 on sprint touch pro 2 rocks will report more findings as i get them

1.6 on sprint touch pro2
ok so i got it set-up and if you want to try it and someone can show me or host the files for me im willing to share but so far its great call volume is drum breaking now please note all i have is the config file for sprint and i know vz's is different but i can tell you how to get it

Does this need to have the orginal project android installed? Also, will this run on T-Mo? Lastly, does gps work?

couldnt honestly answer it but no it doesnt need any other android project no gps wont work i read in the other post something about legacy but i dont see why it wouldnt run on t-mobile

GPS should work. Thats kernel controlled, not OS controlled.... works on all of my builds 2.0.1 - 2.2

Should also mention in the link for the Rhodium that got added to our thread that HW3D, BT, and Sound are not working for Rhodium. This will confuse people. lol

it seems i did not make it clear on my post, when i said "any question plz post them on my thread " i meant the thread over in the touch pro forums not here, so again sorry if mislead you.

I'm bhoping gps works...lol..works on mine..lol

Did you even try it...? Or read about it...?
I think BT is in the same state as all the other builds... I'm going to make a wild assumption and say that camera, wifi and charging are as well.
But, give it a whirl and let the OP know how it went. Obviously the camera is not going to work and BT will probably pair but not work either.

Eventually I will, I just have 2 other builds im testing and a 3rd one will fill my plate to the point I wont be able to test any! :O But yeah, looks promising, considering my phone has alaways booted, never had flashing issues or android boot issues...maybe you're right and it "sorta" works, because I have Wifi working on xdandroid froyo 2.2 and a lot of people don't...

Everyone else has wifi working too... unless you are using WEP. VERY rarely some of the T-Mobile tp2s don't work, but for the most part you're not special.

Do Not Bother xdandroid devs, with fillrate or hw3d being faster on donut than on eclair, plz they are not mages, stuff dont just magically work out of no were
At long last i finally got around releasing it, as i said before this is based on a AOSP Donut Build.Speed and stability should be around the same as my last donut build, also i recently acquired a motorola cliq so i will most likely be developing for that device also, please report any bugs i may have missed,anyways hope you like the rom.
I need feedback from you guys to see what works or dosent, i do not own this device. Working and non working stuff will be populated once people have posted them on comments.

3g? need ppl to test this i dont have a data plan

This uses Default Donut Launcher, touchwiz launcher does not work on donut, but hey if you make it work or find a working apk for donut pass it over and i will include it in the rom.

Sadly sometimes ago i found one that was working with froyo (or eclair i don't remember) and was good and fast i can post it if you need or you wish to do some testing

iv tried touchwiz launcher before, it seems it uses frameworks from eclair/froyo, someone might have to modify it and compile it agaist donut api

link fixed, the fix works by providing the proper permission to the su binnary, inside syste/bin

Um, I might be missing something, but Skype released an update a few weeks ago that enabled video calling from the SGS2.

Videocall of new official Skype for SGS2 not working properly on CyanogenMod ROM. Patched version 2.0.47 works perfectly!

Yes you are, the hacked versions have other added extras options also supports other devices.. And works as it should unlike the offical build.

Not able to get anysound from the speaker while being in videocall on the patch version on any roms. You guys experience the same?

use the final version. it supports your phone.

I'm om a custom ROM on the SGS2 and doesn't work. Video yes Sound no. that counts for CM7.1 and a rom called batista.

TeamViewer QuickSupport app

TeamViewer release an app that allows remote control of your phone from your comptuer called QuickSupport. It says that it is only for Samsung phones and tablets.
The app stops itself from running on the Nexus. I contacted TeamViewer and they said that the Nexus isn't a Samsung device, it's a google device.
Does anyone know how liberate the program so it will work on the Nexus?

not sure whats stopping them but it looks like they want to offer it to other devices as well besides samsung.
as far as stock firmware its probably a security issue where if your phone has root access and someone say gets your teamviewer password they can technically login, go nuts with you phone, and brick it and all while you never realizing what just happened

Touchpad can do anything!

Got the apk from the development thread and flashed it on my CM9 Touchpad....and it works!! This is a tool i have been waiting for for a long time. Can finally answer/fix my father in law's issue without having to see him!!!
EDIT:
tried to flash it on my EVO 3D running MeanRom...it connects and everything looks good...but it only displays a black screen.

Yeah, it works on my TF201 with Team EOS JB but not my Toro with a custom ROM. Crazy.

This link has the steps to install the S4 Google Edition (Full system Dump) to our T-Mo S4's.
It's a pretty small file, and as always, create a backup before you install. I wiped my themed stock rom, then flashed the GE sys dump.
I've confirmed the following:
* Camera works / Video
* LTE works
* Phone calls work
* NFC works
* SMS / MMS works
* Wi-Fi does NOT work
There's a couple of other tests that I didn't run, but I'm still getting a feel for this as I write this.
Any questions should be directed to the link above, not here. But i'm sure by grabbing that system dump, that we can work out the Wi-Fi issue, or leave it to our developers hands. Thanks everyone!

Nope. Didn't get that far. I've trialed an error'd everything myself. I'll continue reading, but thought it'd be nice to have this for our community (if it's not already psoted).

Don't mention it - and be patient. It took about 5 mins on LTE to download for me in NYC. Let me know what you think or any findings you come across.

Faux Kernel didn't do anything for the WiFi; at least not the one I used. I seem to have trouble downloading one that won't throw an error or show up as an invalid zip...
I believe I'm going to give this a few days before trying the Google experience.

Can't wait to get home and look more into this...tell us how it goes! Have you seen any extra features in there cause i mean it is going through samsung

...and there you have it. Safe to say it's a fully working GE rom? Personally, I think so. All that's left is to see how the battery life turns out to be like compared to stock TW.

I hate having to work xD everyone beats me to everything. I downloaded the dump while at work to my cell phone. Now i am home and was gonna create a ROM but guess i don't have to xD

Haha I did it while I was at work, too. No special kernels needed. Just as C.Sweat said, just download, backup, wipe, and flash.
My issue was that I downloaded the system dump from a different source link, thus im sure there was something corrupt or not compatible with the Wi-fi in that specific sys. dump. I'm not even going to do a logcat or any of that, especially if there's already a fully functional dump of the GE.

Maybe someone can dive into the rom and pull the GE photosphere camera and port it into the stock TW rom, instead of having to find working patches and stuff. I doubt it'll port over (maybe the gallery will) straight out of the sys. dump, but for those who wanna try - have at it .
Also, another thing to note is that Google Wallet fully works (of course without XPosures' patching), and we're not given that "It's not available for your provider" nonsense.
This rom = So much win!

Any idea why wifi did not work at first?
After installing the full system dump from GPe to TMo hardware... are there any software differences that remain between the devices? Kernel, etc? Or are they truly 100% identical? Thanks!

I was just over at the AT&T GS4 forum and they are talking about some partition difference.
If that's the case, then some GBs of space will be wasted

NM: Just flashed it. Worked like a charm! Thank you to everyone from the guy/gal who provided the dump to all the people who uploaded to various sites. Oh and big thanks to Tmobile for keep note 2 and s4 similar to international variant.
