[Q] CM9 Blue Icons?

Does anyone know how to get these icons: http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/7333/bluejs.jpg
I saw them in this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1454510
Open your systemui and or framework and find your current icons download those icons and rename them to match and paste em in ur systemui and or framework-res.apk sign them and replace your current systemui.apk and framework-res.apk with the ones you zipped reboot and enjoy...
Its vauge I know but basically a themer would have to incorporate it other than what I said in the above there's no other way unless on cyanogenmod and you can find a theme that uses em for the theme chooser...

MIUI4 basic theme guid for users

Well its more than enough many noobs spamming for themes for MIUI4 in our thread of miui4 rom
All themes out there are for MIUI GB so dont ask lol stuff that why themes not changing whole stuff, like dialer and statusbar drop down and all that
MIUI4 it self is in beta and value.xml not working properly thats reasone there is not much themes for MIUI4
As value.xml not working properly you can not change text colour so we can only theme apps by pngs
This guid is only for some basic knowledge ,so that you can use your favourite MIUI GB theme with MIUI4
extract your favourite theme by 7zip
then there is severel files like icon, com.android.contacts and such
extract any of these file you want to theme
First with icons
change name of phone icon to com.android.contacts.activities.TwelveKeyDialer in icon of your favourite theme
if want to know name of any app you can see in mainfest.xml after decompile it
so give name of this app to icon you want to use
then with launcher theming
first in GB MIUI name of launcher file is com.android.launcher
but if want to use launcher theme rename that file to com.miui.launcher first
then extract this file
if want to use its hotseat(i mean dock)
you need to convert its png to .9.png by draw9 patch and also folder background need to be convert into 9.png
now for dialer
extract com.android.contact file from theme and convert dialerbackground.png to 9.png same way
for statusbar dropdown background
extract file com.android.systemui file from theme
now any png you want as background of dropdown menu
you need two pngs of that background
give name to one png as tracking_view_list_style_bg.png
and second png need to give name tracking_view_page_style_bg.png
now compress all folders you have extracted and make structure as it was before you have extracted
make .mtz of your moded stuff and apply
I know i not explain all things very clearly to understand noobs, but it can be just idea how we can theme miui4
Sorry for very bad guid,im not good in writing guids thats reasone not gave any guid before
will share some small themes I made for me
Nice work I will try to make some themes when I'm free
Nice guide.

[TUTORIAL] Change App Icons In Touchwiz

Hey Friends,
This is a little Tutorial about changing app icons permanently. There was a lot of applications available in Playstore like
“ icon changer free” etc etc to change the app icons. But the problem is that u cant use that changed apps in ur app drawer. U can only use that in ur home screen as a shortcut.
So I just decided to put a little tutorial to do that easily. I know everybody will know this already. But it will help for someone I am sure….
TOOLS NEEDED..!!
1.Photoshop(Ps)
2.a flashable zip
3.root explorer on your phone
4.7-zip
STEPS-
1) Get some cool icons from my xperia z icons pack - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2287388 and save it to your pc.
Edit: If u need some cool Galaxy S4 icons Download it from Here - http://www.mediafire.com/download/k2522edgik21tp1/GS+4+Icons.zip
2) Whichever app icon you want to mod say the "video player",just copy it's apk from /system/app/<apk_name>.apk
and paste it to sdcard.
3) Now transfer this apk to your pc and extract it using 7-zip.
4) Now look for the app icon the file name maybe in drawable-hdpi and drawable-sw320dp-hdpi under res.."video",or"homescreen_icon" or anything...
5) When you find it just right click on it and click properties under the details tab check it's dimension something like"84X84","42X42","50X48"
6) Alright then you know the app icon dimension now.
7) Now save the image as <app_icon_name>.png on the desktop(make sure the name is proper)
8) Open the apk with 7-zip
9) Now drag and drop this image from the desktop to the folder drawable-hdpi and drawable-sw320-hdpi
and click yes when the prompt appears and close 7-zip
10) Open any flashable zip and don't touch anything except the system folder.
11) Open the system folder and keep only the app folder delete other folders in this app folder copy your "video.apk" and delete other apks if present.
12) Now close the flashable zip and send it to your phone ext _sdcard and flash it by mounting system...and you are done!!
Hit thanks if you got it !!:good:

Same procedure as mentioned above.
Copy that apk on pc open it with 7 zip and follow the procedure.
Besides drawable-hdpi and drawable-sw320dp-hdpi folders, icons are located in mipmap-hdpi folder in most apps. And they are mostly named as ic_launcher_appname.png, so change this png to change icon of that app.

Framework mod

Hi all, I was doing little changes over framework-res and I wanna share with you.
First, when I started to work I had installed [VRT][THEME/MOD] advance galaxy mini so some icons are directly from koulis2000, thanks to him.
Later I download original framework from s4, and I resizes some .pngs to our s3 mini and I think results are good jeje
Changes:
Accuweather icons on lockscreen
Settings bar
Little changes in on/off icons.
Screenshoots in attachments
INSTALL
1.before make a backup of framework-res.apk
2.with root explorer copy and replace my framework-res.apk into framework folder
3. Set permission rw-r--r--
4. Reboot
6. Enjoy little changes XD
NOTE:
I'm not responsible for any damage/bootloop/fc
This mod was making over framework-res of a I8190L so I don't know if it is compatible with other versions (i8190/i8190n)

Kitkat Status bar icons mod!

I tried alot to change the status bar icons of hyperion to.the kitkat icons but i was unable to do it as i dont have a pc......so it would be my humble request to the xda members to make a status bar mod cointaining kitkat icons for hyperion rom plzzzzz....
you can easily change pngs on a phone
change systemui.apk filename to systemui.zip
use any app like zarchiver to unzip the file to a folder
goto res/drawable-ldpi
replace any normal png you want to (not ones that end in .9)
rezip everything
change the file name back to SystemUI.apk
put in a flashable zip (you can download any mod flashable zip - you can use one of my mods and delete the contents of the app and framework folder and put SystemUI.apk in app folder)
flash in cwm with system mounted
if you are just changing one png you can also use the ninjamorph app but the above method is better if you are doing multiple changes

Well i use Evo x and icons there are 32 X 32.
When u replace a certain png look @ properties (of that pic). U will have the resolution.. Then resize the kitkat icon into that particular png size and replace it in the apk then Ur good to go all the best

You can share the icons please :good:
Just decompress kitkat status bar & your status bar in es file explorer.
then put the kitkat icons in your status bar.but keep the original file name. Then zip that folders again.
Now sign that zip in zipSigner apk.
rename the signed file SystemUI.apk.done
