wow! i just had flash backs to my Motorola Ultra Classic days!
I would stay away from those cheapies, you pretty much get what you pay for. Stick with either seidio or htc
Htc oem
Ive had the htc 3500 oem one since day one has been working great no matter what rom I get a full day out of it.
been using vzw 2750, working great for me

I bought this. It's false advertising as u would already know. Battery monitor doesn't see it as 3500. It sees it as 2750 which is what the Verizon extended battery is. So think of it as a Verizon extended battery just cheaper. Only thing I dislike about it is that it doesn't fit with the HTC oem extended battery door cover thus not fitting with the Seido Extended Battery Case i got. The battery is more like a sharp square type. Even the back cover when you're holding the phone u feel the Sharp square edges. Kind of uncomfortable after a while compared to the stock extended battery cover. But overall its a decent battery. Just now lost 10% battery after 2.5 hours with 4G on. I use this battery when I'm at home and my Verizon 2750 extended battery with the Seido Extended battery case when I go out. Overall for the price, I say its worth it

There is no OEM 3500 one for the TB
OP: Really, $15 for an extended battery, do you truly think it's going to work well?
I have the official OEM 2750, running BAMF 3 i get a consistent 40-50 hours out of my phone.

It works well for me. It may not have the 3500 it states but it does have 2750. I may not get the hours u get cuz I have everything synced to an hour or less but it still lasts me a full day so I'd say this is one of those rare occasions where the knock off battery is pretty good

The best thing to do is go to Verizon and get the 2750 mAH. It has proved to have great battery life on a variety of ROMs.
I have big hands, so in my opinion, it fits my hands better.
Plus, I got a 25% off discount. So that made it $35 which is nice.
U get what u psy for i have the 2750 if u lok on ebay u can find for 30 if u b patient i love it easy day and night with another day with alot net txt xda tapatalk pandora email youtube

I would definitely go for something OEM.
Once 4G gets turned on here (in 10 days) i'll see how my battery life fares. I'll most likely get the HTC 2750mah if i end up getting anything though.
Ended up getting the HTC OEM 2750 battery for 38 bucks with my verizon discount. Its going good so far getting 40 to 45 hours no complaints.

So paying for something and getting less than what is advertised is ok? If I were you I wouldn't "settle" and be happy with the battery. I could last a full day with a stock battery if I didn't stream music. You should test the battery to see how much it really has and then demand your money back.
I sync, weather/1 hour, facebook/30 mins, twitter/5 mins, gmail/push.
Well seeing how I ended up paying $18 for 2750 instead of 3500 I'm not complaining. $18 knock off over a $50 battery which end up working alike buddy. Frankly I don't care. it works fine n is cheaper and I get almost the same hours as I do with me OEM extended battery. So yes it might have been false advertised but it does work better than I expected. I knew it was actually gonna be 3500. Last me a full day so i don't care

Thanks for that.
Didn't see Galilio on batteryboss.org list, but I am assuming that they would probably be fake.
They are easily the best of the cheap ebay batteries.
I bought the 2000mAh Galilio on ebay for $8.99. It came nicely package- http://cgi.ebay.com/High-Quality-Ba...451129?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item230b00b539
My take, it lasts longer than the stock by far, but I am used to my 3500 battery... so I switch back and forth. Not a bad deal if you want to keep the original back cover and have a little more juice that the stock battery.
i agree, i have two of them and bow definitely last longer than the stock battery. They are a great buy.
I got two of those buggers and a wall charger and with shipping it cost me $17.52. They are at least as good as original battery if not slightly better.
Sorry, double post.
I've got one. When I switch between it and my stock one, I can feel the difference between the two. With it I can get close to 2 days w/o recharge, stock battery is only 1.5 days w/o recharge. I use my phone very lightly and a lot of wifi so take that into consideration with battery use.
Ah well I think everyone has sold me. I have an ebay bucks certificate so it isn't like I am going to be losing any money on the deal haha.

Just to note, mine did take a few cycles to calibrate/get the most out of the battery. So be patient at first.
k im thinking about getting an extended battery for my incredible. Should i but the htc extended battery or seido 3150 extended battery. looked at the reviews and the htc had a lot better reviews. Or should i just stick with my battery and try to consume less power?
It depends on you, I personally don't need an extended battery because I charge 3/4 of the way through the day. If you can't do that then I would get the HTC if its cheaper, I have heard some good things about it from friends. The sedio seems to lose charge capacity faster then the HTC ( Max mah charge)
Or you could buy the 3500 sedio, its 10$ on Amazon. I have one coming

I used the Sedio for over a year and lost no unreasonable capacity for any lithium ion battery. I think the problem here is people don't reset their battery stats or just assume its charged when the light flips green when its really not. I wouldn't buy a battery from HTC for a dime after how poorly the stock battery performed in mine.
The 3500 has no issues I'm aware of, the 3150 was what my friends got and after 1 year of usage it only charged to 2100 mah.
Forget I said anything about HTC, just get the 3500 sedio its only 10$

It was never really $10. There was a seller that was selling fake knockoff's for $10, then amazon caught them and they're sending out refunds to people who bought from them and who don't want to keep the knockoff's.
The 3500 packs a hefty load to your phone physically. Depending how heavily you use your phone the 2150mAh from HTC may be the one you're looking for.
I also use NAV heavily throughout the week and with that battery I never had an issue with it dying out.
Although.. right now I'm using the 1900mAh that still fits in the stock cover. I can still notice a different from the 2150 but even the 1900mAh gets me through the day with all my GPS and network usage.
The 1300 is just a wimpy battery, I was constantly in the red nearing the end of the day and sometimes it died on my if I didn't give it a good 15-25 minute charge sometime during the day.

What company makes the 1900mAh? How is your performance given the time youve had it? I'm noticing on my Seido 1750mAh, some random reboots in the past month that I know aren't rom related. I'm thinking of making a switch to a different battery although I don't want a bigger sized battery.

I've been looking at this battery. http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Incredible-3500mAh-Extended-Compatible/dp/B005CJDPRY
It's a 3500mah with the battery cover, for 14.99. Sounds like a steal. Anyone have experience with it? The reviews on Amazon all sounds good but it's amazon, so I don't trust the reviews all that much.
I don't have any experience with it, however - Verizon gave me the extended battery for free.
Try calling them up, and complaining of poor battery life. Like, 6 hours. They will ask you questions about use, recharing, water damage, ect. Play dumb & tell them that you are trying to do everything right (not leave it on charger, don't let battery overheat, turn off battery draining services, ect).
Then, they should (if you phone is under warranty) offer you a batter. At this point, ask for the extended battery, and make sure the rep knows that you want the one that comes with the new battery door.
Should be able to score it for free, worked for me. No screaming, yelling, or cursing required. I just calmly explained the problem. It works because your battery is covered by the mfg. warranty that lasts a year.
Good luck.
Btw, the OEM extended battery is redonkulous. straight up crazy. the only problem is finding a case that does not suck balls.

I kinda wanna get the ext. battery too. I have talked to a guy who works for Verizon, I wonder if I could get him to score me one (insert devious laughter here)
Jesus Christ! That makes your phone a giant lol. I don't think I could deal with a battery that enlarges my phone to that extent. I'm good with my stock battery anyway, I get around 1 1/2 days out of it almost always, it's all about how you oc/uv it.
The HTC one is just not that thick. I even made my own case out of the silicone part of a sedio active. A little xacto work, and I have a nifty little bumper. Very punk rock.

WARNING:
Cheap cheap cheap. You get what you pay for.
I'm disgusted with the "antennas" in the battery cover. They are sprayed-on metallic paint. Reception sucks, GPS unuseable, and I am not the only one with this experience. Keep your packaging and receipt, cuz yer gonna want to return it.
I could imagine trying to get away with it if you had a different battery cover, but I highly doubt the thing is even 35oomAh anyway. Cheap is as cheap does. Get the OEM.
EDIT:
This is the one I purchased. Not "Hyperion" but it looks as though it is the same battery cover. Read the less happy reviews on the hyperion battery, they confirm my suspicions...
(long dead thread, perhaps)...I'd avoid it. I bought one awhile back. While it's fairly decent to begin with, once it's been in use for awhile (months), the maximum charge drops off fast. Oh it'll charge to 100% but as the day goes on, it'll drop drop drop. Swapped it out for one of the HTC 2150 batteries I had and it's like night and day...the OEM battery is only down about 25% since early this morning (the Hyperion would've definitely been well below 50% remaining)

okay so iv used many extended batteries in my EVO time. i love em all but i cant stand the bulky cases i have to use. whats the best extended battery that i can use my stock back cover?
Probably the Seidio Slim Extended. It has I believe 1750maH and does not require you to use a different cover.
I've been using the Anker 1700ma and am really impressed. Big improvement for the $12.
I would say deffinatly the Seidio they will cost you a bit more then others, but they are built with higher standards and better quality "customer service" and it just makes it it a much better deal in the end.
I hope I helped if I did please hit the thanks button

The link you posted is not for a 'slim' extended battery. It requires a larger back battery cover.
The Anker 1700 seems to be the best slim extended battery, even with tests(Cant remember which thread but its in this section). ID say grab one of the 2 pack deals with wall battery charger, which also charges ANY phone battery, no matter the size as the positive and negative pins can be moved where ever, and the height of it can be adjusted to hold it.

Great buy!
Im lovin them.
In the beginning it gave me around 2-2.5 days worth of battery per charge which was fantastic. The extended battery weighed about 3x the stock battery for outputting almost 2x. I liked the fact that it lifted the phone up so it wouldn't damage the camera lense (since the lense does stick out past the back cover). It was the same plastic as the rest of the phone so it made the phone look stock.
But after about 5 months, the battery capacity greatly decreased to the point where I was getting about 7 hours until I received the 20% battery warning. This battery was preforming worst than the stock battery.
So in the end I went back to the stock battery. What was everyone else's experience with these extended batteries?
Thanks. I was just shopping for an extended battery this morning. My stock battery is still doing okay after 14 months, but I wanted something to counter the effect ICS has had. I saw Seido's on sale at Newegg and was about to pull the trigger, I'll hold off until I hear more.

Would you mind indicating exactly which 3800mAh battery you are reviewing?
Cell phone batteries and memory cards both suffer from a large amount of poor-product masquerading as quality. Reviews of this type of product are not actually helpful unless they identify the specific product, brand, and even seller.
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if I purchased an extended battery for $10 and it started to go bad after 5-6 months. As comparison, my stock battery went bad after about 13 months. While paying more doesn't guarantee that you'll get something great, it is generally true in my experience that you get what you pay for.

This is good to know. Thanks.
I bought the trexell 3800 mah battery from amazon. Its flat out amazing. I get 2.5-3 hours of screen on time on stock. With this I get 6+ . Worth every penny!! It always last all day even playing games all day!

I was gonna try the Trex or QCell batteries but held back after reading many so-so and bad reviews. Instead I decided to give the one made by Gorilla Gadgets a shot. I'll be receiving mine this week. I'll post up a review after I've had it for a few days. Hope it's awesome~!
Gorilla gadgets extended battery works really good. Had it on HTC evo, evo shift for my 12 yrs old son. On my ET4G too. No complaints at all.

I hope you're right. I just got mine today and I'm using it right now after it hit 100% charge. I hope this didn't turn out to be a waste of money. How long did the Gorilla batteries last for you on average? (not phone battery life but the actual battery itself life)?
You gotta follow this video how maximize the use of your extended battery.

my trexcell took a dump awhile back, now my stock battery is doing the same that did (say its charged then freezes and reboots to an empty battery) i just bought 2 cheap extended 3800s on ebay with a battery charger and extended backs for 17bux, will see how these fare in comparison.
I've seen a 4100mah battery on Amazon for about $30

I have the Trexcell battery and it sucks. It drains so fast that it feels as if I have the OEM battery in the phone.

Yeah, after three trexcells, two that need to be thrown out because of bulging, I just got a qcell 4100. I know the number means nothing. It said to do 6 full charge and discharge cycles in the beginning, and let the first one charge for nine hours. I'm on my second charge so far. Don't know if it's true but I read somewhere to charge with the phone off. The first charge ran reaaaly long before dying. Don't know if it was bad batteries or bad external chargers, but both my Samsung externals would only charge the trexcells to 95%, even if it was a 12+ hour charge.
Here I am about 4-5 months in on my 3800 batteries. 1 trexcell and 2 generic. Far as comparing to stock? Stock batteries make me sick now. They drain so much faster. The big ones amaze me how long they last. I do rotate the stockers in so they dont sit and go bad. So ill have a few days of extended then stock then extended ect. The performace of extended is so good I now see the big lump as sexy! I did find a great use for my stockers. (have 4) I was in my best friends wedding the other day and with no case and slim battery the phone slid in tux pocket easy lol. +1 but half way through reception I had to drunken walk way out to car and get spare -1. Right now as I set im about to hit 2 days on Trexcell on the newest Jellyverse sitting at 37% +20.
