Matthew reviews the Ringke for the HTC Thunderbolt by Rearth. The Ringke is a form fitting slim silicone case that will keep your phone protected from minor scrapes and scratches. It comes in a variety of colors to fit anyone's taste. At $16.99 you are not getting the best protection on the market but you are definitely getting a pocketable silicone skin that does the trick. I just found a great case for my S3. Prior to this I'd used a cheap TPU case from eBay, the Case-Mate Tough Case, a Spigen case, and the Hyperion TPU Honeycomb case with extended battery. I'd pretty much settled on the Case-Mate Tough Case, but wasn't too pleased with solid black. When I saw this case online, it seemed too good to be true, but I ordered one anyway. The white TPU/black carbon fiber combination looked good and I liked the flared corners.
The only flaw I see with this case is that it doesn't fit quite as snugly as the Case-Mate Tough. It stays on better than the Spigen, but can't match the two-piece construction of the Case-Mate. It isn't loose, however, and the case seems to offer plenty of protection, especially with my Invisishield Extreme screen protector. In fact, I liked the case so much I got over my anguish at not having the financial werewithal (meaning $$$) to pre-order the S4.
Doesn't "Tiffany" look great in white?
It looks like a nice case... Although it's too bulky for my likings.

I used to be an otterbox fan, just ordered an aegis case for pretty cheap off eBay. Screen protector included I've used them they're pretty good. Any other recommendations besides otterbox and that other cheap 5 buck brand lol.

UAG case directly from the site. I have the aero and I love it, it's mildly protective but not as protective as otterbox. This is for everyday wear and tear with the occasional 7 foot drop. At the same time, it maintains a heck load of style.
There can only be one, the chosen ONE.

I really like the feel and fit of the Ringke Fusion. Feels study and works well with screen protector since it doesn't bubble or push on the edge. However, I'm not so much a fan of the transparent backside. Plus the headphone jack is too small for non-slim plugs.
Are there any alternatives like the ringke fusion but without a transparent backside?
The Spigen Ultra Hybrid is the most similar to that case. One option is that you get (or can print out) a custom back that you put on the inside of the case. This makes the back not transparent. However by default (without the cut out) it is transparent.
Spigen and Rearth are rivals, they always do the same products, with same design, same price, for the same device
Example:
Ringke Fusion (Rearth) x SGP Ultra Hybrid (Spigen)
Ringke Slim (Rearth) x SGP Ultra Fit (Spigen)
so you can find something similar just searching the rival product on the other brand
In this case, SGP Ultra Hybrid have transparent backside too, so probably you wont like it. I think the best match to replace Ringke Fusion without transparent backside is the official google Bumper Case (U$30) or SGP Slim Armor (which is a bit different, but still good to use)

I might give SGP Slim Armor a try. Looks bulkier than my Ringke fusion. Hope it doesn't push against my nillkin glass screen protector.

Yay, another new case! From Tudia, available for pre-order on Amazon.
I believe this will be the thinnest one we'll get. Don't care for the texture though.
I have used this one for several phones including my Nexus 5. I like it as it seems to be a little more grippy on the sides compared to the diztronic. I did not like the design on the back at first but it does not bother me anymore.
Will be travelling to very remote sites in Africa in a couple of months and I will need some protection for the One.
I have the Pelosi, which I think is a fake and it adds 0.1% of protection if you know what I mean.
My wife still has the UAG for the S3, which used to belong to me, which has done a more than perfect job over the last 2 years. Phone and cover still look brand new despite having to be in harsh conditions.
So basically I am looking for a rubberish TPU type that protects corners in a fall.
there is no real case for the one.. the best you can get is some tpu case , i have the TUDIA case and its fine..
but its not Otterbox
the new TUDIA looks promising
TUDIA Slim-Fit CYGEN Dual Layer Protective Case for OnePlus One
The best I've found is the new tudia case ! I have it and love it !
I have the Cruzerlite Bugroid and I assure you that covers perfectly the phone.
I have the Diztronic tpu case and the Rearth Ringke Fusion case. Both cases are great but the Ringke Fusion provides more protection. I would highly recommend buying it.
ive got the tudia cygen dual layer.. the inner rubber part fits perfect, and the hardshell fits about 95% perfect. It bows a little at the bottom where it wraps so the corners dont wrap quite as snug on the bottom as it does on the top. Other than that, this is my favorite case so far. Ive got10 or so cases for my OPO and this one by far has stayed on the phone the longest.
