I can see the sound recorder and voice dialer apk in /system/app folder, but not in the app drawer...!!!
How to use them ??

You can use sound recorder while sending MMS message, no idea about the dialer.
A very good free voice recorder I've been using is "Tape-a-Talk" Have you tried downloading and installing google voice for you voice commands?
There are a number of features that Sony Ericsson are going to unlock in future software upodates but there has been no timescale mentioned yet. However there are a fair few free apps that should do what you need.

I've been trying to find a ROM that fully supports Bluetooth Voice Dialing for the Desire HD. Some don't include the Bluetooth Voice Dial apk, some don't inlcude the Voice Dialer app, some freeze when I tap on the headset button and it seems all the ones I have tried are challenged to connect to my headset and automatically reconnect. The headset works fine with other Android phones, including Desire Z.
For those who have Bluetooth Voice Dialing working on their Desire HD, which ROM (and version) are you using? Are there any special tricks required to make this work?
Thanks for your help.
I'd appreciate some help with this.
So you don't feel all alone I have the same question.

Try Vlingo from market it is free. On quick test it seems to work.
Edit: tested further didn't work well.

So nobody uses bluetooth voice dialing with their Desire HD? There must be a lot of unsafe drivers out there
Bluetooth Voice dialing works on RCmix 3D Runny V3.1.

Never used it as phones should never be used while driving.

Just extract it from a ROM with the voice dialer, and install.

Voice Actions Plus will not give me any sound output. I also downloaded SVOX Classic and the SVOX Grace voice pack and updated my TTS settings but still can't get the sound to work. Any ideas?

I came across this problem, but i managed to fix the issue by installing the free version as well. Because the free version worked for me from the start, but make sure to use the free version of the app, there wont be any ads or anything because you have purchased the full version.
Hi,
I'm looking for app to record incoming and outgoing calls
I have ICS Mimicry 1.4.0 on my Desire Z.
Can you help me?
Any random recording should record your call when on. Either use the stock recorder or purchase Easy Recorder Pro from the market. Oh, and there is a free version . Leave a thanks if you found this useful.

I'm using a Xperia S. I've tried many of the popular call recording apps in the market. But all of them mainly records my voice (what I'm speaking to mic). Other party's voice can be hardly heard.
Is there any other effective app for recording both parties voices clearly?
Always post queries in Q/A section!
The stock GB/ICS kernel does not support two way voice recording while the JB kernel does.
Wait for official update then the app will work.
The only way to record now is using loudspeakers.

I have been using InCallRecorder on other android phones and it worked fine. But on GS4 M919 it can only record conversation through mic, not thru soundcard, so the recording quality is very bad.
Anyone can suggest a better app?
If you flash capps, the latest one is having the voice call recorder and it works good both with headset/normal talk....
