[MOD] Themed TW LAUNCHER

Themed TW LAUNCHER
Your device must be rooted
Use a file explorer like Root explorer and place the apk in system/app
note : 1) Backup your orignal Touchwiz launcher first and install a second launcher from the market' for when replacing the launcher failed and you have no launcher installed you can't operate the phone because you only have a black screen left.
So do this at your own risk.
note:2) Replacing the original twlauncher removes your widgets from the desktop pages and you have to place them back.
In the zip file is a version with the orginal menu icons (only the glass page indicators are build in)

Yo, couldnt get it working.. Got a rooted sgs2, overwrited twlauncher with yours using root explorer - app not installed. weird.. Any ideas?
Btw, does your modded twlauncher have the homescreen in the middle?

Do you by any chance:
1. copy the apk to system/apps
2. Set permissions
3. tap the apk and install ?
If so, step 3 is not needed and will give you the app not installed message, just copy/overwrite, set permissions and reboot..

Um, you don't need to install the file. Just overwrite and reboot.
And no it doesn't mod the default homescreen.

[MOD][BROWSER] 5 User agents, Font size, Full screen, 16 tabs [Bounce-Glow][29/12/11]

Hi!
Here we go with a BrowserMOD -inspired in the work of steven1811 in SGS1- with the possibility to change the user agent, select the font size, full screen mode enabled by default and up to 16 tabs.
Cause I can't do the mod for each version and build a deodexed -odexed version, I've decided to build two generic deodexed versions.
There are two possibilities. One browser with glow overscroll effect based in 2.3.6 (XWKK5) stock browser and one with bounce overscroll effect but based in 2.3.4 browser. Unless someone report problems with a specific rom, both shoulb be compatible with all 2.3.x sammy roms.

Installation:
-> Download your prefered mod version (Mr. Obvious approval this point)
-> Remember that zips are not flashable via recovery.
-> Make a backup of your /system/app/Browser.apk and Browser.odex (if exists) and delete them.
-> Unzip and copy&paste Browser.apk in /system/app
If there's problems: reboot, delete dalvik-cache and/or set the correct permissions in Browser.apk (644 or rw-r--r--).

ein??? these are the sources for modders!
Download the zip of your version, unzip and paste Browser.apk and Browser.odex in /system/app/ (only for odexed roms)

But xxkg3 has no browser.apk inside!!!!!!???????

Does this work on Exynos 3.6? I don't have any idea what odexed and so on is standing for.

My browser.apk after copy/paste an overwrited the old browser has gone?done all with root explorer on a leorom(odexed rom)

Works fine in stock roms, maybe this rom is resigned? ask to leomar75 :/

it works perfect with leomar revolution 2.3.everybody was trying to fix it but you did it first for galaxy s2 . thanks a lot mate.

If normal installation didn't work out well for you, use the method below.
Procedure to install via Root Explorer Method
1. Download the apk file from the above link to your sd card.
2. Now using Root explorer, go to /system/app
3. Mount the system to r/w.
4. Now search for Vending.apk & rename it to Vending.apk1
5. Copy the file you just downloded to /system/app & rename it to Vending.apk
6. Now press & hold the app and select Permissions
7. Select only the options given below. Now REBOOT & enjoy.....

The 3.2.0 market was giving me «an error has occured» when try to buy an app.With that newest one the paid/download confirmation button stay grey and non-clickable.Same for everyone since 3.2.0?

I do all right but when i past the 3.3.12 apk with root explorer its write to me that i dont have space on memory but its not logi beacuse i have 2.3 GB free on my SD...
Its happen with all file that i past there...what can i do please?

Did you give permissions in your root explorer ? Maybe give it "again" or try to enable Root Permissions to all apps automatically ..

what is the different between 3.1.1..this one have limit sufficient data??

Touchwiz Nature UX(SGS)

Just tried touchwiz latest version and got it working with a few steps:-
1.firstly download the 2 files below.
2.then dowload lcd density app from market.
3.now move the lib file to system/lib(u can use root explorer) and set permissions to rw-r-r.
4.In the same way copy apk file to system/app and set permissions to rw-r-r.
5.Now open the lcd density app and set density to 210 dpi.
6.now reboot and select touchwiz launcher.
7.enjoy.

i did'nt tried it on GB ,,,,only tested on ics 4.0.4.,,,,,,i think it will only work on ics but u can try it.

You'd better to change lcs density, by entering build prop ( in system /)and setting it to 210 or whatever you want.

I do not know how to do that, all you have done is introduce to the folders that tells me.

Loaded on my SGS with CM9. Pretty slick. The folder system seems SO archaic, but it seems to run a heck of a lot smoother than NovaLauncher though.

ok so let's start
Install instructions:
Copy all the files to your sd card
first
take the system.zip unpack it (the system need touchwiz framework ...)
copy all the files to the respective directory and Set permission rw-r--r-- and reboot
install like normal apk :

Dude I tryed this but it says problem loading widget n then launcher restarts n can't find the widget anymore .......I read somewhere else that web have to put those 3 accuweather apks in system/app????????

no you just have to put Seclauncher to system
the other can be intall like normal apk try an tell me if it work

yes you must replace the launcher with mine (i change the shared user id )
i port the launcher for mdpi device i adjust it for ace but you can try with gio
