So I just got the EVO 3D and I wanted to unroot my EVO 4G. I tried running an RUU on it like I usually do to get it back to stock android and it said that it had encountered an open file error and to find a complete RUU and now when I boot the phone I get this screen.

How can this be fixed?
did you flash s-on first? Did you try redownloading the ruu?
I believe that is diagnostic mode; do a battery pull, download a 3.70 PC36IMG ruu, then flash that in the bootloader.
curious to see how u made out on this! ive never seen that screen before

Today I tried the Unrevoked3 to get the clockwork recovery, however every time it goes into rebooting phone, the phone turns on and it get hung up there. The furthest Ive gotten was waiting for system to settle, and help of what I might be doing wrong?
did you install the hboot drivers??
If you reply "huh, what drivers" then that is a no.

also when I am trying to install the modified HBOOT files, I follow the directions, however I cannot find android 1.0 under other devices, I only see Android folder with "android boot loader interface" in it

Friend of mine helped me with the problem.
I did not remove the radio file after flashing it. After i got rid of it, working fine now.
Wipe data/cache in CWM.
Did that too. Thanks!

It's been 30 mins, I pull the battery out, try to get in download/recovery mode and nothing will happen. Won't even charge properly or connect to the computer. I've looked at this link but it requires having it connect to a computer.

What the hell happened to my phone and what can I do to fix it? I don't care if the whole thing is factory reset.
Edit: Finally got it to respond to download mode. Now trying to restore it to FC09
Make sure you have a good cable and use the PIT file.

Something went wrong when rebooting after a nightly update. It has a 5.0 Lollipop ROM on it and it won't boot into recovery, so now I just want to go and revert the whole phone to stock. ADB seems to work so I could just wipe the phone and push stock onto it right?
Is there any good guide somewhere where I can revert to stock using ADB with this?
You're on the old bootloader so the newest TWRP won't load. Try TWRP 2.7.x.x and see how you get on
How do I use this
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
so I tried to flash Leaner Lollipop that gibz (i think) provided and got white screen after flashing. I turned off my phone somehow, downloaded stock firmware (4.4.4) and tried to flash that but didnt work.
