No carrier data connection after unlock 02a. Connect to internet is on and wifi is working but shut off for now. Use phone for data connection when wifi is unavailable is checked. After telus unlock I used rogers sim and works great accept internet data from rogers. So I did a factory data reset from sd & phone storage. All apps and everything gone default accept homepage still telus and some things still towards my telus sim. If not using my wifi than I cannot connect. Anyway to reset using new sim info.

well I decided to forget the rogers data connection and just stay with my wifi for now.
The phone portion works well enough. Ill eventually learn these things in near future. Looking at another cell this week anyway.

I have the Htc my touch 3g by t-mobile.I am living in Greece!I unlocked the phone so I can use my sim card.Everything worked correctly I made the providers apn settings but when I try to verify my email so I can access the phone I get the annoying message that ''phone cannot establish a reliable connection to the server''.Can I skip this step or made it via wifi?Can anybody guide me through the proccess because I am a rookie!

Hello,
for the first time today I'm running MIUI with a SIM card inserted, it was in my old phone all the time till I set up MIUI properly. So, it works, I can unlock the SIM and I have service. When I lock the phone once I'm left with "No Service" and can't regain it unless I reboot the phone, so basically atm it's unusable.
Phone is HTC Desire, ROM eMIUI_0.12.18

Reflash after a wipe with the sim.
Perform a full wipe and reinstall.

Just to let you know I've done hours of searching on google and also on xda developers but haven't found similar problems or any solutions.
So my problem is that my Desire is not working on 2G network at all, with the latest radio 2G network is found, but not able to make any calls. Phone is S-OFFed with revolutionary. I'm using Leedroid 3.3.3 a2sd and recommended radio.
I've tested all the previous radios without success, with the oldest radio i'm not able to find any network 2G neither 3G. With the radio 5.11.xx.xx and on the 2G network can be found but is not accessible.
Yesterday while i was on a road trip i tested network signals (*#*#4636#*#*) i found that when i'm having 3G (HSDPA or UMTS) network signals are good enough and i can ping google with success. When i'm having 2G network (GPRS) network signal is good, GSM-sevice is "in use", GPRS-service is "connected" but i cannot make any calls.

These problems started when i changed from Froyo to Gingerbread and flashed the latest radio. Do you have any idea what's wrong and how it can be corrected?
Flash leedroid over your existing version. If this does not help, I recommend to make a full wipe.
Since the problems started i've installed Leedroid twice from the scratch without restoring anything, still the same problem. And of course i did full wipe before installation.
My friend has same ROM and radio without any problems, he has PVT1 with AMOLED.
Try another rom. If problem persits, go back to stock. If problem still persits, go for warranty.

I got an HTC Desire that was blocked, and decided to try unlocking it. I tried everything: the unlockr program (v0.9.4 and 0.9.5), it says "Done!" and and then when I try putting my Virgin sim card in it, I have 3-4 bars of signal, but can't send/receive texts or make/receive calls. But if I activate the 3G, I can go on the internet. I checked the service center number, it's the correct one. I checked everything I could, I flashed the radio to another one, S-OFFed it, ... Don't know what else I could do. Looks like it's blocked to everything.

Hi Everyone, ever since I flashed new firmware, running 4.4.4 roms or less, I can only use wifi calling to place calls. sometimes without wifi calling, I can make a network call(usually in roam only after a 20 to 30 second silent delay. Has anyone else faced this issue? When I first purchased my sprint m8, I had no issues. I flashed back to stock firmware, but it hasn't helped my issue. Are there any solutions? Sprint said im 3 days past due the 2 week replacement. Are ther any independent radios I can flash that might improve my issue? Can trying other radios maybe help my issue without flashing full firware. Here is how my boot loader specs look right now: PS, Cant connect to any LTE 4g either, although my sprint m8 friends have no issues. Any Help would be a godsend...
