Good deal. There are plenty to choose from. If you read thru that thread you will see there are plenty of happy people with it, as am I. This is a sense based rom. Try that out for a while, then you can try an AOSP rom and see which is for you.
But this one is fast? Talking about the internet and stuff

I'm on cm7 #37 right now. I love sense roms but when it comes to speed it blows sense out the water.

I'm on nightly 40, no complaints. I'd avoid 41 because its giving a lot of people high battery drain, myself included, which is why I went back to 40. 39 was also great.

Question one: did you flash a custom kernel? I am going to guess no
Question two: why overclock? I UNDERclock because the thing still flies, and underclocking saves battery.
