Wanting to get a bluetooth keyboard for my Captivate. The description says that this will not work with Android 2.2? I did upgrade to 2.2 before I flashed the Serendipity ROM. Will this work with my phone?

I try to use my Wiimote as a Controller with my Desire. The Stock Rom showed me an error for doing that. Regarding Posts in other Forums the bluetooth driver is the reason for that.
I have tried it in Stock Rom 2.1 and in the DJ Droid Rom, none of them are using the right drivers i think.
Which Desire Android 2.2 ROM is able to let me use my Wiimote on it, i dont want to flash every ROM to test it or is there a way to install a working Bluetooth Driver into my already flashed DJ Droid ROM?
I tried it with the Software WiimoteController from the Market, the free version.
Please help and put the working Bluetooth Drivers into every next ROMS please.
Anything without sense I believe.
I'll apologize if this has been asked/ansewered before. Doing a search brought up a lot of results about integrated keyboards in ROMs and not just the froyo keyboard as an apk file.
I'd like to see if it works better than the 1.2.1 stock keyboard. I've used a few already and none of them seem to have everything. I've heard that the Froyo stock keyboard is much better than 1.2.1.
Does anyone know where I can get it as an apk to install on my Evo?
On 2.1 I had installed stock keyboard using this method: http://nimbu.amorvi.com/2010/04/add-full-voice-to-text-to-htc-desire/
However this no longer works, since Voice Search is installed by default and can't be installed over.
Is there any way of getting the stock keyboard on official Froyo (without root, I really should have waited for a modded official froyo...)?
i want this too. anyone can help?
Anyone..? I'm getting really sick of HTC_IME mod...
EDIT: Aha, Smart Keyboard has a Stock Android skin, and it looks and works great. Only problem is, you need to pay for suggestions...

to update, this link sorted the issue for me and seems to be working as expected
do i need to root my device or change the OS in any way to be able to use the stock android keyboard on my Desire?
Nope! I'm using it to type this message on normal sense froyo
I have desire hd (rooted 2.3) & igo stowaway think outside bt keyboard, which has never connected; before rooting etc too.
Anyway, I got this app off the market because some comments said they'd got this same keyboard working with this app, but they had normal desire, rooted & running oxygen rc7 2.3 Rom. (can't get this Rom for hd)
So does anybody know what its got that I haven't, & further more a hd Rom that'd work for me?
Thanks in advance
CM7 seems to work with everything i throw at it
Ok ta, I'll try it.
One question though - I've downloaded the cm7 file from Rom manager, but it's named 'update cm7....' & is only 90mb. Is this the right Rom to flash? (i haven't had a cm Rom on my phone before)
Yes it should be fine. CM7 ROMs are well under 100 MB.
CM7 rom flashed.
Initial impressions are... i love it.
Just need to work out how to get onto the market.
Do i need to do the google apps thing too? (yes - how do i then install it?)
Not tried the bluetooth keyboard yet (might still need this app off the market)
You will need to flash GAPPS to get the Market. Look in the CM7 thread for the link.
Think outside igo stowaway bt keyboard now up & running )
No other apps needed, works staight off CM7 RC2.
Over the moon...
Is is possible to get a stock samsung rom with the complete bluetooth stack from the stock android build? Mainly to make our phones work with the sixaxis app.
