Help me get this theme?

Would it be possible for anyone to take the theme from BakedSnack and make it available to all ROMs? I really love Hero's theming and his ROM is great too, but I'm constantly changing things based off what I need and I really want to keep that theme.

Can anyone help me? I found a script that will change it over if I put the app and framework files but when irun the script I can't place the files back into the system folder. It says the compressed files are invalid

Could you take the Baked theme Twiz and make it customizable like the one from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=793210 so that we can pick and choose which app/icons we want in the dock, And make an .apk so it could be installed and not flashed, please?

Tw3.0 is an app. Your gonna have to follow that thread to get it working or download the epic experince rom that had a fully functional tw3.0.
A theme has to be flashed via clockwork as it replaces certain system files

What I mean is Baked has a custom twiz but it is not customizable like that one from the link, so is there a way to make the custom twiz from Baked to have the same customizable options as that from the link?

Baked snack is running tw2.5. I'm sure his theme can be ported over to 3.0. But that would be more work then pulling the themed files off of his rom. I can look into it when I have time but I'm in the process of cooking a rom and a theme. I'm using three baked snack as a starting point and I already got the files pulled. I just need to create a zip for clockmod

Ill make a zip of the backed snack theme tonight. I got a couple more bugs to work out on the theme I'm working on. The rom I'm working on should be out shortly after I release the modified theme

Eagerly awaiting this.

I'll try to have it out tonight. I work a full time job and have four kids. This is not my top priority. I haven't even had time to work on my own projects

To be honest.. I doubt much work will be done on this leak.... Work will become obsolete very fast.

Eg22 themes are reported to work fine.

I just flashed through Ace theme, and one of my beta themes (eg22 based) both worked fine on the eh06 rom.

yeah i just used the moddraggon 6 lockscreen mod on the new leak and it worked perfectly, no FCs or anything like that. Unfortunately the boot animations i wanted to use dont work anymore... i guess people will port those over soon enough.

Boot animations will require a kernel that supports boot animations. Since this is still the stock kernel being used it doesn't support it.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Chris41g working his magic on one of his modded stock kernels for EH06 to support this

I'd much prefer to use mods based off "this" framework and system not an earlier build just cause it works

sometimes the theme's are designed to just update the original files in the epic. not overwrite them

My assumption is that they didnt make any changes to the framework between eg22 and this leak. Both 2.3.4.

I can confirm generation x green eg22 works on eh06. BUT lockscreen parts foce closes. Bummer

The EG22 mods work on the De-Odex'd EH06 ROM
I'm running the 8 lock mod w/crt and overscroll and it's fine

Try Maddoggins 8 lock mod. Works great for me. No FC's at all on de-odex'd EH06

Heh I wish. I haven't talked to him in a while but last I heard (and from my own experience) it doesn't work like it should. Adding the service for the custom bootanimation works but not flawlessly to say the least lol

Is there a CRT ON flashable zip for EI22?

I love CRT OFF, I have seen a few roms with CRT ON. I ran a search for crt on and didnt find it so i thought I would ask. I would try to extract it myself but I am not sure what exactly I would be looking for.

RandomROM THUNDERHAWK 3.2 includes it in the rom

Look in the CleanGB thread. Toadlife makes reference to it somewhere as he will be putting it in v17. He links to how it is done and *maybe* a simple flashable zip.

Maddiggins 10 lockscreen mod includes it. Any rom with that should have crt on\off, or you can try flashing it over the EI22 rom of your choice.

I know it states it says it does have it but maybe I dont know if its on there is looks the same as it did before. Is it subtle or like the reverse of the CTR off??

I flashed maddiggins and it has it in there, but i don't want all the other stuff that his mod changed. And yes crt on is the reverse of crt off... When you wake your screen it is an animated crt look. I am bout to restore from my backup to undo the 10 lockscreen mod. Then I guess I'll ask someone if they can throw together a flashable zip for us all. I would do it but I honestly don't know what to extract from any rom or mod that has it.

Hoffman is working on adding it to Legendary ROM. Ask him if he can make it a flashable add on.

I'm on legendary. Thats the only thing i wanted to add. Other than that this rom is spectacular.

I have tried both maddoggin and red fang (theme) and I am not getting the ctr on effect. How odd.

[REQ]Ginger Bread Based theme for EI22

Before I rooted the damn phone I had Ginger Bread on it, and quite frankly I enjoyed looking at the notification bar and seeing how basic it was. To me the whole concept of the stock theme was pretty sweet because it was just simple. I'm sure there's a theme that looks like this but I haven't been able to find one, so I decided to post here hoping for a few links from the people who know what I'm talking about. If you can't tell by reading this I am a n00b so id appreciate it if you guys weren't dicks about this... thanks!

EI22 IS Gingerbread. If u want a "stock Gingerbread look", why not just flash Toad's Clean GB ROM, its the closest thing to stock untouched GB with lots of little goodies/tweaks

Yeah I know its ei22, I was jus5 being specific so nobody thinks I want it for el30, and I think I mixed up gb with froyo. So if you know of any froyo themes for ei22 id appreciate it!

??? Why would you want a crappy theme? Just flash cm7 and find cm7 themes on the market. There is one called cm7 galaxy s theme that is like our froyo. If you attempted at grammar and didn't swear I could probably help better. I don't even know what version/rom your phone is on...

2. What is your android version (2.2/2.3/4.0)
3. What theme do you want (2.2/2.3)
4. If you are on gingerbread, just flash cleangb or stockish rom.

If all you want is the EI22 modem, why not just odin back to stock froyo and just flash the EI22 modem?

Yea I'm well aware my grammar was bad as it was 3 in the morning when I posted that and I was tired, but when I flash to cleangb my colors are, well they're just weird... they are way off from where they are when I'm marcusant rom... and I download voodoo controls but it says my kernel isn't support when it is (samurai). And the color thing is the same for cm7... I appreciate your help!

Yes, the hue and tint is very off. But I fixed it and put my magic to the works and got it working! All I did was open the zip on my pc and change the kernels lol but its fixed now. I'm on Clean GB 1.1.2 and is fitting me well. My only complain is that the notification bar is black, I'm not a themer do I don't know if that's the framework.apk or not so I'll just let it be until a theme I like is released!

Extracting smiles and add to other themes

Hi I'm a old epic fan that went to the dark world of MoPho but I'm back now...I found a theme on the MoPho and loved the Smileys from the theme and wanting to add them to the blue cm9 theme I'm running on the epic...so my question is how should I go about finding them and making a cmw flashable zip or just add them to the epic from the other theme?

With the CM9 beta out, unless the theme is approved or proven to work on SGS2, custom themes can kill the rom and making it a pain in the rear to fix. just an FYI :/

Usually they are in the framework-res.apk the drawable-hdpi folder or which ever dpi the phone was... depending on what application you want the smilies in is were you need to paste them... for example you want your sms app to have the smilies then you would unzip the apk and find the drawble-hdpi folder and place them there... android emoticon names are usually similar so no renaming should need to happen they should be something like emo_happy or emo_sad. =]

Nah...you can swap pngs all day long. The only issue I found in themeing CM9 is it does not like to have systemui recompiled with too much compression. But everything else is not a problem.
