[Q] Can someone add root this new .146 globel firmware - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can someone make this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1126772&page=3 rooted?
I hope so because I have a lot of crashes/automatic reboot with .145 global rooted version

+1 on this request! I have flash this and it's fast. Only problem is, it's not rooted

thank you, but I have an unlocked bootloader. So this TUT isn't usefull for me

Where is the update option??

Hi, I was searching forums to figure out why I have no update (OTA), from de about phone menu in my ARC. I'm running ver .368, but I can't find the option to check for updates.

Did you delete UpdateCenter.apk?
If yes, that's why.

Nice try, but I did OTA (rooted), to get .368 doind all the known procedure, so, I have no idea why I loose that option.....
I know this sounds stupid but are you looking under the right menu?

No question is stupid mate, they just are positive to ensure your knowledge .
But, yes, I did. and right now I downgraded to .181 to get the last version, and of course I had that menu again. Upgrading to 2.3.4 right now.

If your on uk rom, you will only get uk rom updates.

Norway is a nordic country right? It's the right rom then you will get the nordic rom updates

No probs but you found the nordic rom and pretty much fixed the problem yourself, all i did was confirm

This makes no sense at all rooting has nothing to do with updates and we don't have 4.0

Hi all,
I need your help guys...how can I back to stock rom on this phone?
I have CWM 6.0.3.0, with Pecam 4.0.4 installed on phone
& all stuff (I hope) to potentially back to stock rom.

I too switched to the stock optimized ROM. All of a sudden the p350 has become so good and tremendously reliable! Thanks a bunch!:l

hi peeps been looking at the root guide on here as im trying to install a custom rom on my device but the guide on here says how to root xperia m c1905 with android version 4.1 but mine is 4.3? can anybody reccomend the easiest guides for mine? as i dont want to brick my phone

sorry thought i had actually pressed it lol i usually do!! i have rooted this phone now pal and been reading up since we last spoke on how to install custom rom? is there a step by step guide? im not sure if i need to unlock bootloader before installing something like cwm? i have installed a few custom roms on other phones but struggling with this? cheers

Yes , you need to unlock boot loader.. :thumbup:
And don't forget to backup ta partition before unlocking boot loader ..
