Well, It turns out that some pf you still use that old and dead cm6 rc that's been abandoned. So I thought it would be a good idea to get you guys an update.
I have done nothing to this other that build straight from CM source. I take no credit for any of this - its straight CM6.

wow good catch Option. I was looking at CM6 for a friends Incredible the other day. Didn't think anybody on MT4G was still using CM6. I just kinda figured everybody went to CM7 already.

NO need for Screenies. It's stock Froyo.
YouTube still has issues
And the rom seems a bit laggy like going from app to app etc.
Haven't had a chance to go further into it but will keep you posted

With Faux kernel or stock kernel? and you mean youtube or camera or what?
YouTube doest work, Its the app that's messed up for now
And my regular videos I recorded doesn't playback it tells me cannot play back...also in camera I can record a video but it wont playback
This is with faux new kernel
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App
faux has a froyo kernel thread and an aosp kernel thread...im using the froyo kernel for cm6....my you tube works
on the cm 6.1.2 rc2, that is
so it should work with this one
With kernel that came with rom, I am noticing that the videos from my synced Picasa account don't play. I'm guessing it has something to do with them not being on the phone.
Other videos play with stock video player. Some older ones only played after a few attempts. Don't know if that was coincidence.
YouTube app works fine so far.

I know that netflix works flawlessly on stock roms and Virtuous Fusion, but does anyone know if it works on a rom or kernel that can be overclocked?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Works fine on stock Desire Z ROM (1.34) with Godspeed kernel.
I knew there would be an xda about this.... I'm on CM7 and it seems perfect until I try to play video then there's only sound. Anyone else? Is there a work around?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Some claim it works on CM7 RC2.
Works on over clocked CM6.1.1, didn't work on CM7.0.0, so I'm back on CM6

So having a stock kernel makes absolutely no difference in terms of working netflix... interesting. What do you guys suppose netflix checks then? DRM?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I'd be interested to know what conditions need to exist for netflix to work, as I just read this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074391&page=16
and installed the unofficial 'official' 2.3
Netflix looks like it works until I try to play a movie, I just get sound with a blank white screen.
Anyone had any luck installing these on the Desire?
with Google+ 2.0 it crashes my HTC people app
not tried music 4.0.1 yet - but can't install on my xoom as I can't uninstall 3.0.2

I have Andromadus ICS on my Vision and when i use Chrome to open some heavy site it slows down phone to a crawl and then phone reboots it self.
Btw chrome needs hw acceleration so i doubt they will even make gingerbread version at a later date...

"Adobe has issued a statement confirming that Chrome for Android does not support Flash content. The company also indicated that it does not plan to work with Google to add Flash support to the new mobile browser. Adobe will, however, continue supporting Flash in the current default Android browser.
"Today Google introduced Chrome for Android Beta. As we announced last November, Adobe is no longer developing Flash Player for mobile browsers, and thus Chrome for Android Beta does not support Flash content," wrote Adobe's Flash Platform product manager Bill Howard."
My guess is going to be no.
I really want this on my gingerbread miui it would complete the whole sleek look I'm going for. Is there any possibility of it ever working on gb? Or is there anything similar looking?

Thanks, didn't know that until a moment ago when I tried to install it on my friend's 4.1 phone and couldn't. I just came back to update my post and you beat me to it. Oops...
Damn, I even tried copying the file from jelly time over to gb, guess it's not that simple =/
Guess it's just not possible then, even the ics digital clock would work, but all I can find is the analogue one, saw an app on here for gb a while ago but I lost the thread

Yeah that one, but the whole app with weather. Plus that doesn't link up with the alarm, I guess I'm nit picking.

Hi there. I have been searching for sine days now. I can find lots of threads regarding this, but none og them helps me.
Is it possible to use the HTC Remote app on a custom rom. The rom i am using is cyanogenmod 10.1.
I have apk`s for the TV app, but cannot get it to work.
Thanks in advance.

No, since the app needs the sense framework to run. there is a 10dollar app you can get on the play store that does the same thing though
