Does anybody know is it possible for installing the Touchflo into D810/Trinity? If yes, can anybody give me the method and the progarms.
best thanks.
Prepare to be hung drawn and quartered!
I'm not even going to say use the search function...
Opening your eyes would probabably help...
Delete this thread
For sure...It's never too late : Please search and read before posting ... Don't be lazy please ... Go here
Trouble is you'll never stop noobs from doing this, you'll only educate the ones who already have!
Shouldn't there be a standard reply to threads that duplicate existing threads explaing that there is already one similar, use search, look at wiki, read forum rules before posting etc, etc? One that anyone can copy and paste.
how about this.. we post a new thread called 'touchflo finally working', make it sticky and in it tell them to stop posting about it

Is it possible? Yes. You can install anything you want on your phone, the question you need to research is it going to work.
I developed a program that I have been updating for a year. Every time there is a new update, I change the thread title with the current date.
Maybe it was just a coincidence, but one year after this thread was opened the thread title gets not updated anymore.
Any ideas why?
Here is the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=340667
As you can see the title gets updated if you are inside the thread, but if you go back to the forum where the thread is located you still see the old one.
Is this a bug?
Thanks

Thanks the-equinoxe, but why cannot change it myself?
I just tried and it didn't work.

Since this seems to be a bug in the forum and there is not solution for that, could a moderator please edit the title of the thread and remove the date where I specify when was updated?
Thanks
I gues forum has restriction that no one can change the title of the thread older then 1 year, but i think reputed members should not be restricted

basically i would like to flash this addon:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17412603&postcount=6646

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1040121

Just cook the addon (battery percentage, flip windows animation and ubuntu fonts) for cool aces v2 with out kitchen yourself.
You can create your own in http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/

Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

You did not understand what I wrote, but you unterstand what was written in the first link you posted?
I assume you are a grown up person and so it should not be that hard for you to write something like "I do not understand what you wrote". This is a helpful post and not this **** you posted!
And only because YOU do not understand it, it does not mean nobody unterstands it. And if you would be able to use google, you could have unterstand very easy what I wrote:
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=cook+uot+kitchen
thanks jessuey! from what you are saying you have to 'cook' a new ROM (from the existing zip ROM with the addons required) then re-flash the entire newly created rom?
Presumably theres no ad-hoc way to install addons after the ROM has been installed?
thanks again
it's not the rom it self that your cooking/creating in uot kitchen but rather only the add ons that you want to put in your phone eg: bat icon, fonts notifications icons and so on.
you know what matdroid its elitist star star stars like you that put people off from asking questions in the first place - there was noob in post title!!! I have had my bravo for what 1 week, rooted, flashed etc in 1 day. Try sharing knowledge as i now see what kitchen/cook means thanks to a HELPFUL post! you could have answered by saying simply google 'cook a desire rom' as there isnt a thread on here (even though there is) or posted your link to begin with! 'without a kitchen' in its literal sense make no sense at all!!!
most roms i have seen have addons mentioned (NOT updates) yet there is no guide on here about addons for noobs as far as i can see... try doing a forum search for addons and you would see what i mean.
in this instance there is a zip file attached that can be downloaded which i now can see is a UOT file...
Its allot of terms to understand...

I wrote "with out kitchen" and not "without kitchen". A small but very big difference! I really like to help people and xda is made for asking / helping.
But if someone answers my posts like you did, he/she should not wonder when the answer is written in the same style (what goes round, comes around).
why can't I post something on a thread under the development section of the forum???I had to ask a particular question there but it says I cant post...
please don't hate me..

So, on these forums, people are doing voluntary/non-profit work to post their findings and write tutorials to help others. That's ok, it's their choice.
This forum came equipped with a search engine that helps you find information based on what you want. It's great, thank the webmaster for that.
If this forum doesn't have the information that you are looking for you can request it in a nice way, well written, etc. That again, is okay and acceptable.
YOU! You, skipping all those steps and making a brand new thread... just because you can, filling this board up with junk... not even trying to use search or just browse page by page the specific sections... Are simply scum... You think people here should write a tutorial just for you to understand, losing their time for free?
How are mods keeping these threads up? No, really... is it that mods need to respond only to tickets and reports?
Theo said it correctly, I will say it simply .......Search......... really search, then if what you are asking you find no existing threads of help (which is a 1% chance) Then ask, not before
Thread is going nowhere, as such, this THREAD IS CLOSED
